Great property! The house was big, clean, and located in a super spot in relation to the town and the river. Bed rooms are large and spacious. Beds comfortable. The living room area has a massive slider that makes the outside-in experience great in good weather conditions. The kitchen/dining interface was great for our 10 person family gathering and meals. The river views and personal river access are also super.
One of the best things though IMO is the location. The house is located walking distance to downtown, Mill area, music, and river walk. You do not need a vehicle for just about anything. Our group regularly took walks, rode bikes, etc. The only thing you need a vehicle for is getting groceries.
Interaction with the management company was smooth. Questions before the trip were answered promptly. The check in/out process was easy and smooth. The only small bump in the road was the house's noise monitoring system which had warnings of noise issues when there was only normal conversions going on etc. The management company responded quickly though and turned off the notifications after talking with them.

As always, a five-star experience. Looking forward to coming back.

What an amazing vacation my family had and a lot had to do with the house and location of the house. We had two families travel to Bend, OR for a nature getaway and we couldn't of picked a more perfect place. Nestled on the Deschutes River offered many water activities at our footsteps - kayaking, paddle boarding, floating, swimming and even fishing. Many of the items used were provided, saving on the hassle and cost to rent. If you wanted a break from the water activities, several bikes were available to tour the city or you could go for a walk/run on the trail that is next to the house. The house is also centrally located between Old Mill District and downtown, making both easily assessable by foot. And by car you can easily take a short drive to the lava caves and Tumalo Falls.
Now let's talk about the house itself. We had six people staying there and offered ample room for both kids and adults. There are four amazing bedrooms and a chef's dream of a kitchen that overlooks the river. There is a great laundry room and mud room that were definite bonuses for our west coast road trip. My kids loved opening a cabinet in the play room to find Play-Doh, trains, cars and board games to occupy them when they wanted a break from the heat. My favorite was the living room glass wall that opened completely and it lead to a three-level deck that was the envy of those that floated by. There was plenty of seating for both dining and relaxing, along with a fire pit and hot tub. The bottom deck sit at the river's edge and where we spent most of our time playing corn hole, chatting with people as they floated by our docking the kayaks from there.
This house has everything to make for a perfect vacation. I definitely will be back for the views, the house and what the city of Bend has to offer. The owners did a remarkable job with this house.

Best location to downtown Bend & Old Mill District for walking or biking to. Clean & open floor plan making it the ultimate gathering for 4 couples.

We had a wonderful stay and would come back again

This place has it all for group of friends or families. The three master suites are massive and give you a place where you can get away for a minute when you are not enjoying all of the shared indoor/outdoor spaces. Speaking of which, you could have multiple groups doing different activities in at least four or five places on the property. The kitchen is perfect and set up for entertaining. Accessing the river for kayaking, SUPing, and floating could not be easier. Because this house really is walkable and in the middle of EVERYTHING, the bridge and park next door are very popular with the youth for hanging out and jumping off of, which makes the house a perfect location that is very social (during nice weather), but not a secluded getaway until the weather turns or the sun goes down. My group loved it!

We have rented a lot of different homes in the Bend area and by far this one has the most incredible location!
The home doesn’t just have location, it has a wonderful open floor plan, plus beautiful high end finishes, and a patio area worth dreaming of!
This home was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay!

Our family of 5 stayed at this beautiful property to allow us to check our OSU Bend campus for our daughter. The home was spectacular. Location allowed us to conveniently walk downtown. Home is equipped with all of the amenities you'd expect at this price point. We cannot wait to go back frequently should our daughter decide Bend is her next home.

What an incredible home in a fantastic spot right on the Deschutes River! I am hesitant to use the term “perfect” but we have stayed in some of the best accommodations all over the US and Europe and this earns that superlative. There is not an upgrade missed in the home or on the multi-level river front property. The downtown restaurants and pubs are within walking distance in one direction while the walk along/around/over the river heads in the other. We escaped to secluded river rapids through a pine forrest, watched the tubers/kayakers, picked up lunch and were back sipping wine on one of private shaded veranda(s) in short order. The bikes, kayaks, tubes and paddle boards were conveniently there for our pleasure. With all this activity available at our doorstep the most surprising feature was the utter peace and quiet we enjoyed at all times of the day and night....perfect!

**As Good As It Gets**
My family and I had four of the most incredible relaxing days of our summer break here. The description of the home is very accurate, and the property is even more beautiful in person. We ran into a little trouble with operator error and the jacuzzi, and someone was out to fix it almost immediately. The proximity to Old Mill, Downton Bend, and the water park was perfect for all us with different interests. Plenty of toys for the river as well. We'll definitely be back. . . we're in love!

Wonderful house on the water. Great time to float the river straight to the hot tub at the house. Great house for entertaining.

Unbeatable River Views
Beautiful large home perfectly situated on the Deschutes River. We could have spent days just sitting on the porches watching people float and kayak down the river. Several large, comfortable outdoor seating areas from river level up to large patio off of kitchen/living room. Very helpful that bikes, kayaks and paddle boards are included with the home. Easy bike ride to downtown and also to Mill shops. Kitchen and dining room are well equipped.

Beautiful unique river home
We had a great stay at this beautiful home on the river. It was sunny in February so we were able to enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking the river! I want to come back in the summer!

A Sanctuary
What a beautiful riverside sanctuary! I cannot say enough about this peaceful and beautiful home. Every room and every corner has been thought out. We enjoyed our time indoors and also enjoyed the river kayaks, fireplace, and walks to town and back. Only 20 mins from Mt. Bachelor, so we had a full day of skiing/snowboarding and retreated to luxury in the evenings. Cannot thank the property manager, Debbie enough for setting us up for success. Hope to return in the summer!

We had another absolutely wonderful time at the house, and we plan to be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

super bowl week ski trip
This is a lovely house with a terrific location. A ski shuttle is very close if you do't want to drive to Mt Bachelor. It is a very reasonable walk to downtown and a shopping mall, Safeway is 2 minutes away. Great view of the river. I am sure for a summer trip the outdoor decks and river access are fabulous. The kitichen/living room are great for a group that wants to eat and socialize. A great table that could accommodate 10 adults! Beds are comfortable. The property manger (Debbie Mooney) is very available. I would stay again.
One issue prospective guests should know. Apparently the owner doesn't watch TV so it appears she is baffled that anyone else would. 2 years in a row we let it be known we have a 40 year tradition of skiing and watching the Super Bowl. Even with a years notice and assurances the TV would get regular channels, it did not, so we could not do our regular Super Bowl Party at the house. It was disappointing. Perhaps by next year she will follow the advice of the maintenance man (who spent 1 1/2 hours on a Sunday trying to help us) and get a dish or cable or something. We don't go to watch TV, but it is not unlikely that some guests may wish to do so.
The house was overall very clean, but two years in a row when we turned on the oven it was full of grease and we were smoked out. Also, there was no propane in the grill so could not have grilled burgers the first night.
So saying, it is a really nice place with a warm vibe I would stay at again. Hopefully the TV issue can be resolved

Beautiful home with everything you need for a great vacation. Walking distance from everything in Bend.

Unbelievable property!
Super location to walk to Old Town and Old Mill district. River access with kayaks available to use...and bicycles if so inclined. House is beautiful and very comfortable for smallish family group. Lots of semi-private seating areas to enjoy the river view and to visit. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has about everything needed! What minor questions or issues we encountered were immediately addressed by the manager.

A long weekend with kayaking in the morning and downtown at our disposal was perfect for our annual get together. The house was spectacular inside and out and we would definitely stay here again.

The property is very beautiful and was everything we wished for. In addition, the property manager, Debbie, was fantastic to deal with. The McKinney Clan will be back next year.

Fantastic house, wonderful location, great views
Annual girls trip with daughters.
House was impressive and location fantastic views. Many many wonderful artifacts and art. Beautiful areas outside to relax, watch the river go by. Bedrooms comfy and quiet. The walking paths along river are beautiful.
We had a serious ant 🐜 issue in kitchen, which property manager addressed quickly.
However, in general, As a vrbo Owner, this house would be 5 stars every time if they gave it a seriously deep clean everywhere, which we all felt was required. Not big complainers as we do this every year. But ...too many Cobwebs, toilets and showers needed more attention, kitchen, dusting under furniture, etc. A vacuum available for use would be appreciated for renters quick cleanup.
Property manager, Debbie, was attentive and good to work with.

Perfect location and space
We stayed here for a girls weekend getaway. The property is beautiful- right on the river, next to a park, easy walk to fun activities and shops. The house is well appointed with everything you need. Spacious and comfortable. Check in was easy and welcoming. Contact was prompt for any questions we had. We loved our stay and would definitely book again!

Awesome house in the perfect location!
We had a fantastic week in this beautiful home! There is plenty of room for every couple to have their own “space”, and the gathering areas of the home (living room, dining room, kitchen) are perfect for large groups. We woke every morning to coffee on the deck listening to the river rush by and finished several nights in the hot tub. In between we kayaked, hiked & completed the “Bend Ale Trail”. Needless to say that there is a ton to do in Bend. The location is PERFECTLY located on the river, but only a short walk or bike ride to downtown. If I could give 10 stars to Deb Mooney, I would. She was incredibly helpful and was really committed to making sure we had a great trip. We highly recommend Bend to anyone looking for a fun trip & we wouldn’t stay anyplace other than this beautiful river home!

Great house, Great Location!
Our stay at the house was perfect. The house is very well appointed and comfortable. We appreciated the hospitality and the local craft brew welcome. The house is so well positioned on the west side, close to downtown and the west side brewpub scene. Now we just need to come back in the summer to live the river life!

fabulous
Overall very good. We had a group of 10 men for a ski trip. Counting the "yoga room"there are 5 bedrooms, so using a few aerobeds or pad can sleep 10. There was plenty of room, the layout with the kitchen and living room was excellent. The kitchen was well appointed. The table easily sat 10, could go up to 12. The hot tub was perfect. We couldn't use a lot of the outdoor space since it was snowing, but we could see in the summer the available space would greatly increase with multiple decks.
It was within easy driving, or a nice walk, to downtown and restaurants. Definitely would come here again.
Debbie Mooney was very attentive and helpful.

What an exquisite house! The location is perfect. Walk to town, walk to Mt. Bachelor shuttle, walk to the Old Mill and nice restaurants on Galveston.
