My friends and I were looking for a girls getaway and this property did not disappoint!! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. Being right on the lake was the best. We swam, used the canoe, turtle watched from the dock and made use of the outdoor porch with swing bed. The house was well stocked from dishes to spices. From start to finish our trip was amazing. The only thing I would add to the house is a television to the master bedroom. We will definitely be booking this house again next year.

This was a cute place - lovely home and really dynamite porch. You are right on the water. We spent most of our time on the daybed swing out there. The house had pretty much anything you could want - we had a pretty easy time cooking dinners. We really appreciated all of the supplies they had - tons of games, towels for swimming, laundry pods, plenty of toilet paper. That was so helpful!Easy to get to, and the local towns were fun to bop around in (Easley/ Pickens).

It's my second time renting this place and I'm sure it will be a third...Everything is perfect but a few things can be improved to make it perfect.Make sure there is ice on the freezer; is not ideal to drive 2 hours to arrive to this place for after unpacking realize there is no ice on "the ice maker"Same recommendation for the firewood, if the house offers a fireplace, it would be a nice amenity to have firewood available, no guest will be happy traveling with their own firewood in the trunk of the car just to have a nice fire at night.and last, even when the contact person cannot help you with any of these requests from above... instruct her to be cordial and friendly, if you leave a message saying "if you need anything or have questions call (this person)" make sure this person knows how to be helpful and friendly. Mostly friendly.

We do a yearly vacation and this by far was one of the best. The house had every accommodation possible. From indoors to outdoors everything was perfect. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, kayaking, and my favorite lounging on the porch swing bed. The hot top was a hit in the evenings after a day of swimming and the area in the back with the out door fireplace was just as nice as the porch over the water. Again, this was a perfect family trip. Would definitely book again.

My husband and I, along with five other family members, greatly enjoyed our 3-night stay while in town for our daughter's graduation from Clemson University. It's a beautiful, peaceful, quiet location with incredible views, and we all had plenty of room to spread out. The large kitchen was perfect for hosting a graduation breakfast - plenty of counterspace and seating for everybody. No issues to report - everything went very smoothly and host was quick to respond when I emailed with a question prior to our visit. I wish we had stayed one more night to have time to just relax! : )

The location was perfect to our dock and boat on Lake Keowee. The property was a very peaceful setting right on the water! The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities.

Our young family of four joined two other families with young children. The stay was perfect and after visiting the Day Use area on Lake Keowee just west of the house, we were happy to stay on the much quieter Six Mile Lake. The house was equipped with plenty of activities to keep everyone busy: boats, life jackets for swimming, hot tub, and trampoline. Plenty of wildlife to keep the pesky mosquitos away! The kitchen was well-stocked to cook each night and the house was not too far from plenty of restaurants to choose from in Clemson: our choice was the Smokin' Pig. Would come again with a group no questions asked!

this was all we hoped for. The only equipment we added was a stand-up paddleboard. the variety of kayaks was perfect for the 5 - 14 yo boys. Having the water so close the boys could jump in any time. The fishing was great too, and the little boys caught a couple all by themselves.

Had a wonderful week with kids and grandkids, rained all but 2 days but still enjoyed! Very disappointed that the weather kept us from enjoying all the outdoor amenities but the large covered back porch allowed us to be outside.

We rented this beautiful home to be near the hospital in Greenville for our grandson’s procedure. We had a fabulous time. The kayaks and canoe were enjoyed by all! The house is amazing and it had everything we needed for children and adults. We hope to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and was sad to leave. The space accommodated our group well and we loved the lake, back porch, and outside fireplace area. The house is nicely furnished and we would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place in the country.

We did not use any outdoor opportunities and still had a great time. Beautiful home, well stocked with necessities, roomy, nice lake view and close to town. A beaver dropped a tree across the driveway and they had someone out there that day to take care of it. Lost power the last night due to a wind storm. They had flash lights and told us if we were late leaving not to worry. Wonderful hostess and owners.

Family & Friends Trip
The Sanctuary was better than we expected. The place and grounds were beautiful and relaxing. Very thoughtful touches we’re made from where to hang towels/wet clothes to kind reminders about how to take care of the house to a library of books to read. The private lake was quiet and fun to swim, kayak and fish. Everyone loved the bluegill school that met us at the lake’s edge of the patio daily. Turtles and frogs kept the kids entertained. There was a crane and martins taking care of insects- so very minimal mosquito issues. We did some hiking in the area, grocery shopping was close and had a good variety of places to go. Wi-Fi worked well- we did have to reset it once while there but it quickly resolved the issue. The hot tub, grill, and outdoor fire place were great!

Lovely Stay
For the past four years or so my family has been getting a house for a week on Lake Hartwell. This year we considered getting a place on Lake Keowee, just to give it a try. We settled on this property and we are so glad we did! My elderly father loves to fish and it'd been a challenge in years past to get him from the rental house to the water. This time the water was right at the back porch. He was able to fish at-will. He didn't catch anything, but he still enjoyed it. The kids caught smallmouth bass using minnows, which was quite the thrill for them.

Didn’t want to leave…
This was one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on! We lived outside near the water and on the bbq patio. This was the most relaxing, beautiful trip ever. The location and water is remarkable! Love EVERYTHING about it! I’m so sad to leave. Thank you to the host for being responsive to our questions, etc. Thank you for sharing your place with us. We loved the scriptures on the wall. God bless you!

March Madness
Our group of March BAdness daddz loved the Spring Lake Sanctuary. The space is very roomy and the open kitchen into the living area is wonderful for cooking and congregating. The bedrooms were comfortable too. The outdoor living space is top notch: hot tubb, outdoor fireplace, floating dock, and small water craft, oh my! The management personnel was very accommodating also. Would recommend 5/5.

Amazing property!
The house was even better than we anticipated. The house was beautiful and the surrounding area was so peaceful. It was perfect for our family’s trip out for the Clemson football game. All of the rooms were specious and well appointed. The swing on the back porch was perfect to wind down after a busy day cheering on the Tigers.

New Favorite Place
My family has always spent a week together at the beach for our family gathering. This year I chose to try something different.I was a little apprehensive not seeing the place firsthand before booking. But boy were we in for a surprise, it was awesome. We had the lake to ourselves, yes it is small, but big enough for what my family wanted to do, and we didn't have to be concerned with motorized boats. My three grandsons loved the diving board, and feeding the fish from the porch. The porch bed swing was a big hit also, great place for napping and reading.Kitchen was amazing, large, with EVERYTHING you would need to prepare any meal. The floors were perfect for lake living. We brought a 6\12 island oasis and tied to floating dock, a super big hit. Also inter tubes we used for races & paddle boards. After the year we have had it was a joy seeing boys be boys, enjoying the great outdoors. The entire family said they want to return next year instead of going to the beach.

Total relaxation!!
Beautiful place! From fishing off the porch to canoeing to swimming…we did it all. The house is supplied well. Copious amounts of cabinets and cookware. The outdoor fireplace was perfect for evening dinners and s’mores. The hot tub was nice to relax in after a lazy day. We did what we wanted when we wanted to. Hated to come back to the real world….would stay here again for sure!!

Awesome find!!
We were there 7 days with a family of 10. We had the absolute best time and relaxed so much. None of us wanted to leave. The kids spent their days swimming, fishing, canoeing and napping. We did too as adults and got really used to that nap haha. The porch is phenomenal! Fishing off of it was a daily happening.
They had everything we could’ve possibly wanted. Durham’s is close by if you need anything. We did rent a pontoon from Clear Sky Pontoon rentals and spent one day on Lake Keowee. Keeter was very helpful! Highly recommend it! Beautiful lake!! See the falls and cliffs if you go. Would rent this property again for sure!! Lot of memories made this week. We are so grateful.

Awesome Family Get-Together
Me, my husband and our four boys met up with our sisters, nieces and nephew at this property. We haven’t seen them in over a year due to Covid. This property did not disappoint. It was beautifully secluded and you couldn’t be any closer to the lake. The house was so well equipped with anything you could need. We brought things we didn’t even need because they supply everything!! The house was clean and updated and cozy. My favorite part was the expansive back porch right on the lake. I enjoyed coffee there every morning and it was so peaceful. All the kids loved the hot tub, fishing, kayaking and the trampoline. The outdoor fireplace was a great gathering place for a cornhole tournament and s’mores. We have such an amazing time together in such beautiful and peaceful surroundings. I would definitely recommend this property and will definitely be staying at this property again in the future. It did not disappoint. Thank you so much!!

We truly loved our stay at Six Mile. The home is beautiful and kitchen is very well stocked. The setting on the lake is straight out of a storybook! You can hang your legs right off the porch to the water. It was pretty cold out, so we didn't swim or enjoy the water activities, but we loved the swinging bed, hot tub and firepit area. The house was even decorated for the Holidays! Our only wish for the home is for a TV in the main living area of the home. I understand that the lake setting is the focus, but a good football game is also fun to watch. The TV that is in the bedroom right off of the living/dining area has the LARGEST television I have ever seen in a bedroom. I am not sure why that TV is not out in the living room?? We ended up bringing our own TV and wifi/TV stick so that we could watch football games and other programs while lounging on the couches. We loved the home and look forward to returning in 2021!

Lake House
While the location and property were lovely, our “quiet” was disrupted everyday and for most of the day, by dogs ( sounded like blood hounds) barking and howling from across the lake. It started early each day and lasted until dinner time or sunset. It made sitting out on the lakeside porches unpleasant and certainly not peaceful...

Perfection
We had the most wonderful stay. This house is so special and the most well appointed rental I’ve ever been to. They’ve thought of everything. We loved our stay so much and will definitely be back and have already recommended to friends! It’s so peaceful and serene. I loved every minute of our stay. Thank you!!

Let your expectations be blown away!
This home didn’t just satisfy every need for tranquility and relaxation we desired it went above and beyond! To start the home is very easily accessible and although deserted enough to give you peace and quiet it’s perfect location it’s easily accessible to so many things your heart can desire like Pickens for a quick trip to visit history and shopping, or just a few minutes to the quick mart to grab those last minute items you may have forgotten. Don’t forget the lake access to Keowee for the day on the boat! The home is amazing and has been stocked with everything you might possibly need or want!! I was so impressed by everything it had to offer: like to read? TONS of books!, enjoy cooking? Every appliance necessary! I promise this home will not disappoint! I was able to catch up on work from my laptop while the kids spent their days in the lake like fish. The afternoons were spent playing games (did i mention we brought our own only to be shocked that they had everything we loved??) and reading books. Home cooked meals sitting around the beautiful table will be missed most!
