Our best accommodations of our trip! Wish we had stayed more than one night.

One night stay in Amboise

Beautiful place and beautiful host. We stayed in the terraced room on the ground floor which has direct access to both a private terrace and the property's terrace with tables and chairs. We had dinner there "all fresco" and was lovely! The room is beautifully decorated, extremely comfy bed, excellent shower with complementary shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast was amazing, wide variety and all I tried was very good. There is street free parking just across from the property which is great. As this is very close to the centre you can park and walk everywhere. The host Erica, is a kind hearted, lovely young lady who does all she can to make the guests feel at home. Meeting her dog Pablito was a big plus 🙂. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Erica, I wish you success and happiness. Thanks for having us.

The only detail worth mentioning is the fact that the second bedroom, where the 2 beds are, doesn't have thick curtains or blinds and is quite bright, quite early. Not that it stopped my teenager son from sleeping...

Lovely hostess, very friendly and kind, good location and good size rooms.

The bedrooms were very big, the bed was huge, the family room had a separate bedroom for the children within the room, all very clean, the owner was really lovely, friendly and kind.

The level of furnishing was average, and the road it was on felt like a backstreet. But it was easily within walking distance of all the main attractions.

Very friendly, welcoming stay in a comfortable place

Superb hospitality from the staff, so helpful and friendly. Great location on a quiet street but easy to walk everywhere. Generous breakfast. Really great value

Nothing we didn’t like, just be aware that the family room on the top floor is in two separate rooms with the bathroom only in one of them.

pleasent and enjoyable

The hostess Erika is a very friendly and likable lady. our entire unit was modern and clean. I loved the coffee machine which we could use in the kitchen. We could walk to the most popular parts in town

Lovely B&B with surprising facilities, food and service. A worthwhile stay

Beautiful facility, the photos do not do justice. Get the room with a terrace, it’s worthwhile to enjoy. Excellent breakfast, and service Great location and decently comfortable for a family of 4

Parking is off premises just a few minutes away, which is not ideal, but we made it work The rooms can get a bit hot at night, even with air conditioning.

Loved this place

We absolutely loved this place. Erika is an excellent host who can help a lot on tourist highlights in the neighborhood. The room was kept very clean and we had a nice terrace. The breakfast was also very good. Apparently the place is frequented by parents with children, but as a couple it was fun staying here as well. We highly recommend this.

Exceptional

Very nice and comfortable house to stay. It is close to the centre of beautiful Amboise, only 5 minutes walk to the centre. The parking was free and easily accessible. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Erica was very kind and helpful with every question we had. The breakfast was excellent and delicious.Its a very good experience to live there and we suggest you this choice and recommend it to you.

I would not stay here again.

The beds were comfortable and the space was roomy with the exception mentioned below. The included breakfast was good and the hostess was very helpful.

The toilet was in a separate, very small room without a sink to wash your hands. After using the toilet you had to walk around the bed to get to the room with a sink. The toilet was situated so that your knees touched the wall which is unacceptable. The shower room with the sink was very nice.

Exceptional

The hostess, Erica, was extremely kind and accommodating. She also spoke Spanish in addition to French and English which was wonderful. Everything was clean, and I had the top master suite. The bathroom was lovely and big, and the king size bed was perfect! The room was super cute and I loved everything! Breakfast was also delicious.

Soap in the bathroom would have been nice!

Really enjoyed our stay overall - quiet, comfortable, easy to walk to places of interest.

Enjoyed having a room in a house with a garden and interior living space in a quiet neighborhood within a short walk to the river and the town center. Nicely appointed, clean, quiet, good breakfast, lovely hostess.

Had not realized room was on the top floor and would have preferred a lower floor due to luggage.

please be aware that the triple room is actually two separate rooms.

it was very central and the host and breakfast are wonderful

it wasn’t as described. We booked a family triple room which was actually two separate rooms on different floors with only one bathroom. If you’re travelling with children adults will need to split up between rooms

La Huis Clos is a great place.

Great place to stay when you come to tour the Loire Valley. Clean, comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Erica, the owner, was a perfect host. She went out of her way to make us welcome in her hotel. Thank you.

No complaints and free parking is only a short distance away.

A very comfortable and well placed place with a welcome worthy of a grand hotel

I really liked the welcome and hospitality of Erica our host, who was able to quickly put us at ease and make the stay very pleasant. The place is authentic and well placed. a very good address to remember. Looking forward to coming back to spend a few days in Amboise.

Nice and pleasant garden seating, coffee and tea available all day. Breakfast was good (sweet pastry, bread, yoghurt, jam, ham, cheese...) nice rooms

We have two rooms, bathroom only in one room. But for one night it wasnt a big problem.

Great place in a good location with fantastic staff.

After the very warm welcome by Erika we felt like being home straight away. After that she pointed us to all the place to go, eat and drink - all was great! thanks again. the place is located just a short walk to the centre and parking (free) was on the other side of the road. what more could you want? Erika also helped us with our onward travel next day and we actually went to La Venise Verde (including a canoe trip) - thanks again!
