About this apartment rental
Welcome to Los Almendros. This 2 bedroom apartment has the ideal location for those who wish to explore San Pedro without the use of a car. It is located right in the middle between the beach area and the town centre, meaning that it is a relatively short stroll both ways.
There are two terraces. The main one has lovely views of the garden, community pools and it extends all the way to the beach. You get to see the skyline and the sea. Please refer to the pictures to get an idea. In this terrace there is a sofa and a dining table for up to 6. You can have dinner with candles outside.
The lounge is comfortable and colourful and there is a dining area for 6 people. Of course, there is AC all throughout the apartment.
Both bedrooms has single beds but the master has the option to make it into a king size bed with a topper mattress. Both bathrooms has a sleek interior and walk-in showers.
As for the kitchen, it is shaped as a corridor and it is fully equipped for you. There is a traditional filter coffee machine. The kitchen leads to the back terrace which has an outdoor bar/kitchen with BBQ, fridge, bar stools and views of La Concha mountain. In the summer months this terrace will be cooler during the hot days. Please bear in mind that on this side there is a main road, which might mean it can get noisy. But you can always use the south-facing terrace with the sea view that is quieter.
The property is located in a no party urbanisation. There is to be no late night noise nor any anti-social / disruptive behaviour.
LOCATION
San Pedro Alcantara is a coastal town wedged between Marbella and Estepona and, despite its proximity to glamorous Marbella, has managed to remain unspoilt. Very traditional and laidback, it attracts the type of visitor looking for a more low-key holiday.
Although San Pedro is small, it is a vibrant town abuzz with restaurants, bars, bakery cafes and ice cream parlours. The food scene is both local and international, with Irish pubs, Asian restaurants, Dutch bars all next to traditional Spanish bars and restaurants. There are a couple of well-priced supermarkets (Mercadona, Maskom, Carrefour and Día), a 24-hour pharmacy and boutiques. Thursday is street market day, a true bargain hunter’s paradise. The Boulevard is fast becoming the heart of San Pedro and a favourite with children with a total of six playgrounds and a skateboard area. Adults can sit around nearby, or go to one of the bar/restaurants for a drink, a snack or a meal.
Nueva Alcantara is the new part of town with wide tree-lined avenues leading down to the beach. On the waterfront, the 2 km sweeping tiled promenade serves as an open-air gym with exercise machines and is always bustling with joggers, strollers and dog walkers. It is dotted with chiringuitos all the way along, most of them offering Mediterranean cuisine and, of course, the ubiquitous thirst-quenching tinto de verano. The promenade also links up to Puerto Banus and it is possible to walk all the way to Marbella along the sea front.
Don't expect any wild nightlife. A night out typically consists of a meal and a few drinks at a local bar - although there are a couple of salsa clubs- or a moonlight stroll along the beach promenade. If you're looking for a big party night, Marbella and Puerto Banús are a short drive away.
For sporting activities, there are many options. Very close by is the Nueva Alcantara Club with 16 padel courts and the I/O gym. The adjacent residential area of Guadalmina is also known for its well kept golf courses. If you just want to hit a few balls try the Guadalmina public driving range (Located close to the Barceló Hotel). For a bit more action for the kids, the Cable Ski Marbella, next to the driving range, offers wakeboard, kneeboard, and water-ski lessons. The road to Ronda starts at San Pedro so experienced cyclists can enjoy a challenging but beautiful ride.

Very well equipped kitchen, with additional great outside kitchen. The water filter was great. Front terrace is very comfortable with great view of the sea. Comfortable bed. Good bathrooms. Plenty of space and everything you need for 4 people. Well positioned for accessing the beachthe town for restaurants and supermarkets. TV had BBC, ITV, C4 etc.
Bit too much road noise on the rear terrace, as it is close to the tunnel entrance.
