We loved this place. Quit and relaxing. We 😍 the wild life everywhere. The host was there whenever we needed her. Nice clean place, we would definitely recommend.

My partner and I stayed here for a little 3 night getaway for my birthday. It’s a condo split into 3 different living spaces, and here you have the bottom floor. It’s quaint and the perfect size for a vacation. When we went, there was no access to the lake from this property because the water levels are too low, but there is a private little “beach” we found in the community that was perfect. The location is absolutely gorgeous, but it’s also tucked into the lake, so most restaurants are a good drive away, so I would definitely recommend cooking. One of my only issues was with safety, like with the front door to 2 living spaces having the same code as the door to this property, but otherwise it was a good stay.
Oh, and there is gorgeous wildlife everywhere. Deer are absolutely abundant, it was so cool to see!

This property is just what we expected. My favorite place to be is out on the patio/deck looking at the views. The wall of windows was perfect and allowed those great views to be seen throughout the home. The sound machine was the perfect touch to rock you sleep. Our host Barbara was wonderful! The communication with her was great! We will definitely stay here again!

Barbara, the host, is great. Easily reachable and flexible to our needs. The property itself was in great shape. Just what we wanted for 2 people with a nice balcony. Great value compared to other options on Point Venture. Will likely rebook in the future.

We LOOOOOOVED our stay.
The neighborhood—There is a HUGE community pool that is very close—definitely in walking distance. There are deer EVERYWHERE. we took many drives and walks just to enjoy them. They share the neighborhood with the residents and just roam from yard to yard. It was so great to see my kids put devices down and stare quietly in awe of them. The private park is lovely with a disc golf course and playground and lots of simple trails. Then there is the large PRIVATE beach. It is absolutely beautiful and quiet. Everyone is kind. The views are FANTASTIC.
The stay—it’s a cute townhome with a bedroom, kitchen, living space, bathroom, and amazing balcony and view. It’s small but nice and clean. You MUST be able to take stairs to get there. Also, the bathroom opens to the living area, which isn’t a problem but just fyi. The host had everything we expected. She was quick to respond to questions. Nice kitchen. TV in living area. WiFi. We felt very safe. Everything was clean and tidy. It felt like home.
FYI most fast food locations are a bit of a drive. You are on a peninsula, so it can take a while to get to places.
We had a fantastic time and hope to go back. Loved this location and host.

This was a nice, clean place to stay. The hill country is beautiful! We enjoyed eating nearby at the dock restaurant too.

A great little hidden gem for a weekend getaway. Access to a private sandy beach. Community pool just around the corner. Our boys enjoyed all the amenities, including seeing all the deer!

We loved this space. Great for our small family. We swam most of Saturday, drove through the neighborhood watching the baby deer, and watched a beautiful sunset.

This property was just the right size for our quick little weekend getaway. While it was just a private bedroom and bath, we didn't need much more. It was clean, private and close to the pool and walking distance to Captain Pete's for dinner. Barbara was very good at communicating with us the entire time.

The views from the deck and inside the condo were gorgeous even with low water levels. The condo had updated and cheerful decor, was well stocked for our needs and had thoughtful welcoming touches. Barbara communicated all the information that we needed before check in. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a perfect, stress free getaway, highlighted by the fireflies observable from the deck at night and the deer outside to greet you in the morning. The property had everything we needed and the neighborhood is friendly, walkable, and beautiful.

We brought our 2 grandsons ages 13 and 14 yrs old for a music festival and stayed here in lieu of a hotel for same price. We had a great time and the boys enjoyed fishing every chance they got. The deer were roaming the streets everywhere and beautiful cardinals were visiting us on the back deck. The host was absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend staying. Much better choice than a boring hotel room! 😊

If you’re looking for a nice, quite, clean place to stay for a couple days and not really looking to go anywhere or do anything and just relax this is the perfect place for you. This is a great place to get away and relax. Just not to much to do and takes an hr to get into the city of Austin. But very quiet, clean and relaxing would boom again for a getaway.

Awesome place!! Water low. When the lake is full the views would be fabulous. The upstairs neighbor to heavy walking?? Lol. That was the only down side. Haven to hear foot steps. Yes I will return. Thank YOU Barbra!!

We enjoyed the nature setting but disappointed (although warned) about the dry lake. The home touches were nice and the appliances and Wi-Fi/cable worked great. Neighborhood was peaceful and loved the friendly deer. Bed quality and steep stairs were a mild challenge. We loved having a home base to attend the MotoGP races!
4.0
Not the owners fault, but there was no water view from the condo. The only bathroom is on the other side of the place from the bedroom. Through the kitchen and through the living area. A king bed is advertised, but there is only a queen.

Beautiful Views
The stay was relaxing and location is great! Deer in the front yard and the balcony is like being in a tree house! The dock was very nice and the lake was fun! Property was very clean also.

It was excellent
Sean was an excellent host, he was available at all times needed and answered every question we had. The house was perfect. Could have spent the vacation just enjoying the back porch and swimming and tubing off the dock. Ventured over to the local restaurant on the water which was awesome! Perfect getaway.

Great little getaway
Clean space, modern decor, adequate space, beautiful views, rustic outdoors, lots of light, quiet. Plenty of blankets and kitchenware. Deer walking around amidst cars, in lawns, were so cute. Birds chirping was pleasant to hear. The porch view was peaceful and so different from normal city views.
Floating restaurant close by. Boating close by, but you have to book in advance.
Host put lots of nice little touches.
Great place. Highly recommend!

Austin stay
Very nice place. The host, Barbara was very gracious and answered any questions right away. The only thing I have to say about the place is a bit deceiving with ‘lake front’. It was at the end of a point. Otherwise, quiet and peaceful.
