The pics didn't match the interior only because the bed was different. Toilet was not bolted to the floor. Table and counters had not been dusted. The lighting in the cabin could be a bit brighter. Cigarette butts were on the ground around the campfire. It was nice to get away for the long weekend.
away for the long weekend.

I really enjoyed my stay at the cabin. It had everything I needed and it was quiet and peaceful. I will definitely stay again. The property was as advertised and was really clean and smelled nice. It was chilly in the mornings, so I especially enjoyed the electric fireplace. It warmed up the room quickly. The hot tub was clean and felt very nice.

For the positive first. Quaint , out of the way, nice hot tub.
Now..... onto our experience. We dripped our water as we came in the winter months, obviously the water pipes was not properly installed as the Hot water froze up. 4 days and nights with No hot water. NO HOST CHECKED UP ON US EVEN AFTER I EXPRESSED WE WAS STILL WITH NO HOT WATER ON DAY 2. Sent a guy first day, he put a mini heater in by waterheater, which did nothing.
Host still did nothing. Offered nothing, no other place. 4 days and nights no shower!!!!! No checking up on us even after we left the Host know. Yet, she had no problems trumping up Host fees at a total of reservations fee $70 damage waiver $19.95
The taxes I get but ridiculous 🙄.
No I do not recommend this Host.
We are here few more days and instead of rebooking, we are going to a hotel . Save your money folks.
Host knew we had no hot water and it was no concern to even reach out to us at all. That's total bull

What a cute cabin. Had everything I needed to relax a few days and recharge. Cabin was clean and the bed was comfy. I had plenty of towels. I really enjoyed sitting on the covered porch in the mornings and in the evenings I enjoyed the hot tub. A beautiful area and was close to everything. Really had a good time hope to rent this cabin again in the future.

The cabin was amazing! Very cozy and romantic! Clean, tidy, and has pretty much anything you could need. Bring your food and drinks and that’s it. The Wi-Fi worked well and the cell service wasn’t bad (AT&T) it’s close to all the fun things to do in Hochatown/beavers bend too. Highly recommended!!

I sent my client and her partner to the Osage cabin for a romantic getaway. The next morning I received a call from her about the amount of roaches in the cabin. Roaches of all sizes. Tons of roaches. I immediately call maintenance from the number provided. The gentleman spoke to me as if I was an inconvenience. I asked if they could be moved to another cabin due to the roaches and now the roach spray used to exterminate the critters. He told me they would have to assess the conditions of the cabin and get back with me. (It's not like my client was unhappy with the pattern in which the towels were folded. We're dealing with roaches.) The young man sent to spray for the roaches was just as disgusted as my clients. (Clients also discovered a can of roach spray under the kitchen sink. Therefore, Creative Escapes was aware of the roach problem, but only wanted to apply a band-aid to the problem.) After an hour, still no word. I called the booking side of the number provided. I spoke to Kari. She also needed to work on her customer service tone while on the phone. However, almost as soon as I got off the phone with her, she called my client and offered them a new cabin. They were moved, and it was quite the upgrade from the Osage cabin.
In summary, do a good inspection of the room upon arrival. Including checking under the kitchen sink. I understand, they don't know what their guests bring with them, but they are responsible for the cleanliness.

Cabin is small but perfect for a couple who wants to get away for a few days. Hot tub was an extra bonus.

My husband and I really enjoyed this property. 4 stars only because in the photos it appeared to be at the bottom of the road (more private) but was actually the first cabin off the main road. Wednesday & Thursday nights were the best because the other cabins were unoccupied!
Two critiques would be the missing DVD player remote & not enough hot tub towels for multiple days' use.
Overall thumbs up though, and we would definitely return!

Cute little place in quiet wooded area. Close enough to Hochatown activities but far enough away to enjoy nature.

Getting in the cabin was difficult. Door was hard to open. But getting out was even harder. Bed was not comfortable.

Disappointed
A/C DIDNOT work but a well mannered maintence guy (Eric)brought us a fan. There were ants on kitchen cabinet And seen a roach in cabinet beside refrigerator
The camp was room for 2 and hot tub was nice. This cabin needs alittle love
Buy A/C unit, Treat for bugs, fix screen doors, & sweep down Cobb Webb’s on screened in patio and you be be good to go! We did not ask for any $ back & we Did NOT let these bumps in the road ruin our trip BUT I feel owner should know
Thank you

Maintenance Issues
First time staying in a cabin. The location of the cabin was nice, bed was comfortable, and the hot tub was wonderful. However, the bed skirt and mattress protector was stained, it was dirty under the bed, the floor heater did not work, and the shower and toilet leaked water so bad on the floor that the rugs were soaked and it was coming up from the floor boards. We didn’t let the issues ruin our anniversary stay but it would have been nice to not to have to deal with things like this. Office manager, Kari, was very nice and gave us a partial credit each night due to the maintenance issues. I actually found a note from someone who had stayed previously in that cabin mentioning issues with the bathroom. It was on the refrigerator. Overall experience wasn’t horrible. Oh and don’t pick the romance package without out making sure what exactly you are going to get. Fake rose petals and a cheap bottle of wine......not what we were expecting.

10yr Anniversary getaway
This cute cozy cabin was amazing and just what we needed for our 10 yr anniversary! Hot tub was great! It was basically perfect except the bathroom needs some work. The rib has a crack in it so it leaks. The bathroom floor and mats were soaked all weekend. Other than that it was awesome! Pretty private spot. They hooked us up with fire wood and they even provided corn hole and others games. We just had to bring ourselves and food to cook. We would definitely come again!!!

Great cabin and amenities
Great place for a getaway weekend. Only issue I had was the online listing did not include any pictures to let you know how close neighboring cabins would be. Was expecting more privacy.

Wasn't the best by far
I'll start with the good... the kitchen has all the essentials you could need, the patio was completely screened in, the hot tub was a great size and very clean, the fire pit was stocked with wood.
The bad... the cabin is smaller than it appears but ok. The bed has the most firm and creaky mattress I've ever experienced. The shower has a leak that causes a huge water puddle next to the toilet. ALL of the sheets, pillows, towels, robes, etc REAK of cigarette smoke. The wifi only stays connected for about 15 seconds at a time, rendering the TV useless. The cabin overlooks 5 other cabins, leaving almost no privacy when you are on the patio or around the fire pit. The road up to the cabin is extremely difficult in a smaller car, luckily it hadn't rained much and we were able to make it with minimal struggle. Communication with the property was non existent. I sent an inquiry 3 days before our trip and didn't get a reply until 2 days into our 3 day stay. The location they give is 4.5 miles (10 mins) from the actual location and we didn't receive the actual driving directions until 20 mins prior to check in. Google directions to Choate Rd for a more accurate location.
Overall we enjoyed Broken Bow and Hotchatown but we will not be staying with this company again.

Everything in the cabin was perfect for our stay and we had a great time exploring some of the nearby hikes and the fire pit at the cabin. Will definitely return. Thank you

First Cabin weekend!
This was my first time to ever go to a cabin! I had a blast. It was easy to find, clean, cozy and small, but peaceful! The hot tub was hot and ready when we got there and everything was perfect! Oh and the WiFi worked perfectly there. Close to anything you need! I’d def recommend any couple to go to that cabin ❤️

Great woods Getaway
The cabin was cozy, well-appointed, and the hot tub was a perfect touch. Only negatives on cleanliness were the towels reeked of cigarette smoke(must have been washed with smokers or a smoking cabin's things) so bad we had to go into town and buy a couple of towels from Wal-Mart. The other issue was a crack in the bath tub that leaked and soaked the bath mat through by the end of the week. The most significant issue that needs to be addressed in the ad is that a small sedan is NOT making it up the roads off the highway. Major steep grades would become impossible in any kind of inclement weather. On several occasions I had to put my truck in all wheel drive mode just to get out of the parking spot. Other than those issues, I would reccomend the property to anyone who owns a 4x4.

The first thing i want to say is 1. cabin as advertised and no construction is going on. Cabin was clean, and lots of extras added in such as cornhole, movies, all the cooking utensils and grilling stuff needed, firewood available ( not seasoned and hard to lite), ad hot tub was nice and hot. 2) the address on GPS is not accurate i would suggest typing in "Choate rd" instead of address bc that is the only way we found it and then followed the directions given by staff. 3) I would stay again it was perfect for the price and close to the town approx 2-3 miles and 8-9 miles from the state park entrance but there are a few entrances so not sure how far each are. 4) the only negative I would say is the screened in hot tub should have a roll down blinder so that the neighbors cant watch or see if someone wants to get in hot tub during the day. Its not that the house downward is that close but if they are on there porch which is built up they can see exactly what may be happening on the porch with hot tub. Overall staff was friendly, place was as listed and I would recommend it to "couples"

Cute cabin. Stayed the weekend with my daughter. It is better suited for a couple though, but we enjoyed it. It was neat and clean.Doubt I'd return. Why? Three reasons. 1). I found it to be nearly impossible to find in the dark. We arrived past sunset. There's no lighting so I couldn't see the landmark. 2). Seems you need rugged, all terrain tires to efficiently navigate the roads off in there once you turn off the main road. Glad it didn't or hadn't rained or I may not have made it.3). The directions on how to get to Osage were very unhelpful. When it was the FIRST cabin on the left after the turn. It was not clearly marked like other cabins were. And I couldn't figure out where to park. That wasn't clear till the next morning . I tell you, once I got in there, I didn't want to leave. To the kind lady that helped me over the phone with directions, 'Thank You'.

Blessing
My husband and I had a wonderful time. Everything was so clean and well taken care of. We had everything we needed within our cabin. We created such wonderful memories and didn't want to go but we will return one day soon. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who just needs a getaway or to reconnect. Its great place to let your mind just drift away.
