About this house rental
House has a family living in the upstairs, the 1160 SF unit available downstairs has 2 Private Suites with private entrance downstairs, 2 segregated rooms with private bathrooms, both open onto a large exterior deck with a private hot tub and private sauna and outside dining area. The second bedroom has a sliding divider door that has entertainment room with wall mounted flat screen and in wall audio system. This room can be converted into a second bedroom with queen size fold down Murphy Bed. The rear deck has plenty of outdoor seating areas and a large round cabana with a variety of overhead lighting for each zone. We have in house meal options available, please check our menu. The house is located in a quiet outer mission neighborhood called mission terrace adjacent to Glen Park, 5 Blocks from the J Line Light Rail to Noe Valley, Delores Park, Castro, Downtown & Embarcadero. Glen Park and Balboa Park Bart Stations within walking distance or connections from J. Downstairs unit in family home, Guest have a private entrance with coded key pad. There is a Nespresso coffee bar, teas and small refrigerator with waters. Spa robes, towels, slippers and spa like treats (face masks) are provided. See attached photo for menu available for guests in outside dining area. Guests will enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates left in suite for guests upon arrival. Please let us know if you would like red, white or sparkling complimentary wine. House has great Wifi with expanded eero WiFi grid.

Our family of four (two adults, 20-year-old, and 18-year-old) stayed for three nights over Spring Break. Beautifully appointed suites. Perfect amount of space for everyone to have their own rooms. Beautiful joint outdoor space. We didn’t utilize as much as we wanted due to it being pretty chilly but would be lovely in warmer weather. Hosts were warm and welcoming. Great location and lovely neighborhood. We’d definitely visit again.

Our hostess was wonderful and offered the use of her oven on Thanksgiving day!!!! The hot tub is amazing with many different configurations of jets. Sauna had aromatherapy too. The lounging area was VERY relaxing and comfortable. Plenty of room to eat with two small tables plus coffee table near outdoor couch.
The TV was huge (for the big game viewing). The robes were luxurious. I definately reccommend.

We really appreciated Martina’s hospitality. Upon check in she provided us with a helpful tutorial to use the spa and sauna. We all slept amazingly well after the use of both. The giant TV was a big hit to watch nature shows!
The beds were very comfortable and the location was great. We highly recommend staying here.

I met my 25 year old son and his girlfriend for a two day stay in SF and this property make us feel like we were at a trendy spa! We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, outdoor kitchenette and the super comfortable beds and bedding! Perfect spot for indoor/outdoor enjoyment!

Nice place to stay while in San Fran
This place is clean and well kept. The Zen garden, hot tub, and sauna area are perfect to revive your whole family after long days of sightseeing San Fran. Having separate rooms for the adults and kids turned out to be good thing, it allowed us (the parents) to actually have a vacation. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and adequate.
There are places for food shopping and eating options all within a short walk/drive away.
We were able to park in the driveway which was an enormous bonus for us in SF! We were on a road trip going up the coast from LA in a large minivan. Having a place to consistently park right in front of our lodging was huge.
Martina was a responsive host and quickly responded to inquires, including adjusting air-conditioning (which is shared from the host apartment above and our area below). Also, keep in mind heating is with space heaters in each bedroom. Another thing to consider is that the eating area / small kitchen are outside which could be an issue in colder months but didn't really bother us.
Overall our stay was comfortable and perfect for our main objective which was easy access to downtown SF for sightseeing.

We stayed in Martina & Tony’s first floor property while visiting family nearby so we would have our own little pad to spread out and decompress in mornings and evenings. You can’t believe how adorable, spacious and relaxing the patio area is! We used the hot tub, the sauna, and the lovely outdoor couches to relax most afternoons/evenings. The rooms are very cozy and well appointed. The beds are super comfortable! The two bedrooms do not connect indoors, but since the patio is enclosed and so comfortable, this was actually perfect for us since our kids are older and we put them in the suite with the two beds. We just needed a few kinks worked out to get settled and both hosts helped us out very kindly. We felt well taken care of! There is a convenience market, great coffee shop, and a few eating options a short walk away. There is also a huge park close by. We were able to park in the driveway, a huge plus in SF! Thank you so much for all the sweet touches, we really enjoyed our stay!

Whether doing a romantic trip, girls trip, family with dogs, etc, the space would be appropriate for all. We traveled with two teen daughters so having the separate bedrooms and bathrooms was an added bonus at the end of each day. We would definitely stay again. The absolute best part was the beds….I’m not sure how they do it but it was the most comfortable sleep we’ve all had in a long time. Well done and thank you for your hospitality.

We had a great stay at Martina & Tony's place. We were given sparkling wine to start the trip out and utilized the sauna and jacuzzi nearly every night and day. We had issues with the water being cold one day and the TV speakers not playing only in our room but the hosts responded and helped us resolve those issues.

Excellent
This place lives up to the listing. Except maybe the hot tub, which they are underselling (its the nicest hot tub I've been in). Everything was clean and nicely prepared, entry and access was straightforward. The owners were helpful too, and even called VRBO to help expedite us getting our deposit back. After being burned so many times by vacation rentals, it's nice to know there are still good ones out there!
