About this apartment rental
Dog-friendly Vail studio condo centrally located in the heart of Lionshead Village, nearly ski-in/ski-out access to Vail Mountain as you are just one block from Vail Mountain's Eagle Bahn Gondola and Vail ski school. Soak in the Vail Mountain and Village views from your balcony while enjoying a cup of coffee or happy hour before stepping out the door to all the skiing, hiking, shopping, restaurants and entertainment Lionshead and Vail have to offer. Lift House is on the Town of Vail free bus line to easily access Vail Village.
Dogs are welcome at Lift House Lodge for an additional fee of $35 per night, per dog. There is a limit of 2 dogs per unit, per night.. Please ask for pet friendly unit availability.
Inside your studio is a queen size bed and 1 full bathroom. A kitchenette that is equipped with a half-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The living space boasts a queen sofa sleeper, gas fireplace, TV and balcony.
NO Air-conditioning, but we are at 8000 feet elevation, so opening the balcony door in the afternoon cools the condo pretty quickly.
Please note that our fall front desk and lobby hours are from 9am to 5pm, though these hours may vary depending on the season. For access outside of these hours, please use the 2nd-floor side door near room 201 or the 1st-floor Plaza entrance. Remember to have your key or code ready before 7am and after 5pm for entry.
LIFT HOUSE PARKING: Limited parking is available first-come, first-served at $50 per night in the winter, and $25 per night non-winter. If our lot is full, the public Lionshead garage is $60/day in the winter, and $35/day in the summer.

we arrived, just before closing, to find out someone else was in our room.....had we arrived 5 minutes later, we would have been totally screwed...office closed, someone in our room....not very good VRBO/Vail.....otherwise all was fine.

The location is central to everything in the Lionshead area. The condo had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. It did get warm inside during the day even with the balcony door open. But there was a stand fan to circulate the air at night in the sleeping area. Would consider returning in the future.

It was great to park the car and not to have to go anywhere. We were participating in the Dock Dog Competition and it was so nice to be close to the competition. There is a grocery/liquor store and plenty of restaurants nearby.

The Lifthouse condos are in a great position in the heart of Lionshead village, only minutes walk from the gondola. The studio/ condo is well equipped and the size is adequate for two, but it would be tight for four. We stayed for five nights. There was plenty of well designed clothes storage.
It was unfortunate that the WiFI was down for the majority of our stay.
We felt that the condo was average value for the price.

We visited early December and had the best ski conditions and this accommodation was the perfect location to rent skis, grab food, go shopping, and most importantly walk to the ski lift. We are already looking to return this summer.

Lifthouse is all about location. The view is fantastic! Staff was a mixed bag, rooms are dated with some features nonfunctional (gas fireplace didn't work, an outlet fell out of the wall). Bed was awful. Fees added almost 50% to the price. Not sure it was worth the price overall.

This location cannot be beat! The balcony looks right onto the town and it's beautiful and lively. The manager, Brittany, was very friendly and helpful. The unit itself is dated a bit, but it was very clean. It had everything we needed and we greatly enjoyed the stay. It did get a bit hot, but we just opened the door and let the fresh mountain air in and it was wonderful. Highly recommend!!

stayed here for the Vail Dance Festival. Love the location and the ease of getting the free bus to the Ford Amp. great location of Eagle Bahn Gondola, hiking, dining, shopping. Kids playground very close.

Our flight was delayed so we had to check in late (their office closes at 5pm) by picking up the keys from a lockbox. Upon entering the room, we realized it was not the room that was shown in the listing.
We called an after hours number, which ended up being a call center in Vermont. All they could do was take down our number and tell us someone will get back to us. No one did. Not that evening, not the following day.
We didn’t even bother dealing with the front desk. Room cleanliness was subpar, bed covers missing, I mean you can’t make this stuff up. Stay away, there are far better options in Lionshead Village.

Dated property, needs updating! Hot tub nonfunctional per staff for years. Lots of dust on the bathroom exhaust fan. Plenty of storage space. All necessary kitchen supplies provided. We had to turn off the heat completely as it was extremely hot in the unit. There was a hole in the bathtub. Controls on hair dryer damaged. Kitchen sink faucet leaked when turned on.

Brittany and the staff were extremely helpful prior to arrival. She made the whole process very easy. The room was just what I needed. Cozy with a comfortable bed. Perfect little kitchenette area in unit for quick breakfast. Fireplace with a click of a switch and a balcony over looking shops and mountain. It’s a 2 min walk to gondola with a coffee stop on the way. I will stay here again.

The unit was clean and quite livable, it's just very expensive for what it is. It's a very basic, very plain studio apartment in need of some maintenance. The premium cost (double what you might expect) is clearly just due to being in Vail, in the Lionshead village and very close to the lifts. In the future, we would try to find some place more affordable away from the village.

My 18 year old son wanted to go to vail for a few days to ski and we were lucky to find this reasonably priced condo that is steps away from the Eagle Bahn gondola!! It is a bit dated but is clean and comfortable. Beds, even the soft bed, are super comfortable. I wish they had a hot tub but we were ok without it.

This is a good value at a great location. But that’s it as far as the benefits go. The pictures are extremely misleading. Tiny space with completely outdated furnishings. The hot tub is not available and the laundry is coin operated in the basement.

- location is fantastic to both the lift, lions head town( food shopping, etc) and vail village ( by walk or free town bus)
- balcony was fantastic
- Brittany, the manager, went above and beyond to assist my wife and I in having a fantastic stay.
- Gas Fireplace was great
- the little kitchen had everything we needed ( coffee maker, toaster, salt/pepper, etc)
Cons:
-The non-updated rooms are just that… not updated, but they are clean and comfortable.
- hot water takes a while to heat during peak bathing hours.
- The place is a little old but if you don’t mind that, it really is a fantastic place to stay as I certainly would stay again w/o question.

The location was perfect. We were one of only a couple families staying in the Lifthouse which made it wonderfully quiet. We were there for one week in order to visit the Steadman Clinic for a post op exam and also to use Howard Head Sports Medicine for therapy for all 5 days of our stay.

Right next to the park and splash pad. Location is the highlight of this property for this price range. Rooms are spacious and well kept even though dated, they are well equipped. I would come back again, kids were happy!

Perfect location, close to everything. Rent bikes and coast downhill all the way into downtown Vail. The balcony view is pine trees and mountains with the village below. Loved the well appointed mini kitchen. Safeway grocery store only 2 miles down the road. Would come again!

4th of july stay
The condo was clean and organized as well as stocked for all the essentials in the kitchen. It did not have an odor considering it was a pet friendly condo. The view was excellent and location was awesome. The unit definitely needs some updating but it was good for our stay. Also the TV remote and the TV need some adjusting because it would not work some of the time. Otherwise our stay was very eventful and we would definitely go back

Perfect little spot for my wife and me. Excellent location in the heart of Lionshead. If you’re worried about not being in Vail Village, there is a bus that runs between the two and the stop is right outside of Lift House (also very walkable). Great access to the mountain and plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops.
