We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children (ages 2, 4, 6, and 9) and this house was perfect for our stay. The front and backyards were exactly what we were looking for. The adults could sit on the rockers on the porch while the kids ran around and played. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the house was nice and clean. There were enough rooms for all of us and the beds were comfortable. AC worked great. It’s an historic house so the flooring was a bit slanted and squeaky in places but that just added to the charm of the house. This was a great house close to downtown on a beautiful tree lined street.

Great property and amenities.

The house is an amazing place to stay. Very clean and well appointed. Not just the furnishings, but also kitchen goods and outside seating options. Downtown is within walking distance, which was much appreciated. I would definitely try this place again if we come back. The only negative is the road noise in the front street facing bedrooms, the king and the queen/twin combo rooms. Traffic runs late and starts early of course.

The house was absolutely perfect for our multigenerational family. Each bedroom appeared to match the members of our family. The home is very comfortable and has so much character. Dinning room was big enough for 10! Very clean, soft sheets and towels. Every detail well thought about and provided. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return on family trips to visit our daughter at Embry-Riddle College.

Owner Next Door
We walked over to greet the family upon arrival with our dog on a leash and the owner went ballistic that we had a dog in the yard and that was not allowed. We had no intention of leaving the dogs or even going into the house. The family was afraid to do anything becaus they felt like they were being "stalked"

Home that Makes Prescott Even Better
We always enjoy our time in Prescott and find it very difficult to make them better. Our stay at this property made the difficult possible and made a good trip better. Proximity to everything we love, old home charm without sacrificing comfort, city location without feeling confined, and simplicity in all aspects of the rental process delivered an exceptional experience. We will be back.

Amazing accommodations
Visiting Prescott to celebrate my birthday with girlfriends & family. We were greeted by a lovely note from the owner, a box of fresh doughnuts, wine & snacks. The house was exactly as pictured. With comfortable beds for everyone & little touches of extra needs throughout the house. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. No need to bring anything with you but your food. The porch and back patio are perfect for gathering. I simply can’t say enough to express how please an entire group of grown women were with the accommodations. Everything was top notch! And the owners are wonderful people. Can’t wait for our next visit.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and it worked out perfectly for 2 families. We felt welcome from the start. Theresa and Logan are wonderful hosts and had doughnuts and plenty of complimentary items waiting for our arrival! They even had 2 bottles of wine and extra snacks for the whole group. They were friendly and very responsive if he had questions. The Fall colors were in full bloom and the historic neighborhood street was perfect for walks. We had a huge table to gather around for our Thanksgiving meal. There was plenty of room and storage for food with 2 refrigerators, one was back in the butler's pantry area and we were pleasantly surprised. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of essentials in the kitchen, the oven was huge and handled the Thanksgiving turkey and all with ease. All nice and new appliances, laundry room had nice large appliances. The mud room was perfect for extra space. There were extra blankets in each room and plenty of toiletries in each bathroom. Our dad recently passed away from cancer. We gathered here to celebrate his life and it couldn't have worked out better. We hiked Thumb Butte as it was a place he loved to run the trails with us throughout the years. The house made us feel like we were traveling back in time with the decor and architecture. It was fun to see the other Victorian style homes around the neighborhood. The kids could skateboard around the street, hit the Bosa Doughnuts place one block away for Boba drinks. We all walked to the courthouse one evening. Bill's Pizza has great pizza there! There is a skate park a few blocks away near the Armoury. We made wonderful memories in Prescott and having grown up there it holds a special place in our hearts there. We would recommend the Shady Victorian for anyone wanting to be at a close location to the Courthouse and be at the heart of Prescott.

You will NOT regret renting this home
We have used VRBO all over the country and this is, hands down, our favorite property. Location is convenient, Victorian décor is enchanting, and amenities are perfect. We rented to spend time with family ranging from elderly to children and all weekend long family kept pulling me aside and saying "you nailed it renting this house!" . . . so rent this home and you will not regret it.
