Amazing views. Lots of wildlife. Clean and well kept home.

If anything, the listing understated the beauty and magic of this place. The cabin (the owner has photos of it when it was being built, check them out in the game room) is well laid out: a spacious deck that runs the length of the home, and a huge sliding glass door leading in and out from the living room/ kitchen area. It is from this vantage point that you will often find yourself just looking out and into the forest, where you will see anything from an extended family of elk (including the baby elk) perusing the lavender or spruce along the roadways. Or at night you will have a canopy of stars, far more than you will likely see anywhere else. The cabin is described as app. 2500 sq. Ft, but to us ( a family of 5, including three very mobile young children) it felt much larger. One thing they did that we thought was very smart was they converted the garage into the game room—which, if you have a 12-month-old (as we did), made for a very safe and large floor space for her to run around in without doing damage to herself or others ;). We stayed here during somewhat of a heat wave for this area, and the A/C was very modern and cooled the entire house very well (sometimes that’s not the case in cabins where there aren’t many super hot days).
The building of this home was obviously inspired. In that vein, staying here, I would suggest paying respect to that inspiration by taking care of it.
Suffice to say, we enthusiasticallly recommend this cabin.

This home is absolutely beautiful. The owner has thought of every detail to accommodate your every need. The home is beautifully furnished. My family of seven adults were so comfortable. We loved the game room with the pool table. It was great family time. The views from the outside deck were amazing. I can’t wait to go back!

I struggle to write a review about this place because I don’t want this place to be booked up when I want to rent it again. But this place is too beautiful to keep a secret. We came to Strawberry for a friends wedding and we didn’t want to leave this amazing house. I can’t explain how beautiful this place is. The location felt so secluded but yet within 2 minutes of town. When you first drive up to the property you are in awe. The big gorgeous windows facing the east and large patio is perfect for early morning coffee watching the sunrise. Lots of wildlife can be seen at all hours of the day. If you want a perfect getaway this is the spot.

Had a great extended weekend getaway from the Phoenix heat. Cabin is new, modern and well equipped. Great views and location close to everything in Pine & Strawberry. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place!

The driveway is impressive, but not as intimidating as it looks. Super easy entry and very clean house. Couches are very comfortable, and the extra blankets and pillows are soft and warm. The upstairs bedrooms have firm mattresses with plush pillows. The mirrors in the room make it so easy to get ready and take photos. Our bridal party used the house to get ready the day of our wedding. Wonderful photos were taken of the guys and girls getting ready. The balcony was everyone's favorite place to enjoy morning coffee and look out upon the mountain and forest. Good water pressure throughout the house. Modern appliances and kitchen made it easy to use. The garage was used to its full extent with many rounds of ping pong all night long. Incredible home and many memories were made.

Amazing in spring
Our family (2 adults w/ a 12 & 9yr old used this as our launching point for all of northern AZ. It was a wonderful experience and would highly suggest it. The house is awesome and clean. The game room is perfect for a wind down after a day of adventuring. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Fantastic!

Had a lovely stay at this very cozy home for a weekend getaway. Wildlife was amazing! A spectacular setting for my son to propose to his girlfriend. Would definitely recommend this beautifully decorated and well appointed home to anyone looking for a quiet place to rejuvenate.

Of course the house, surrounding property and views were excellent. The house appeared to be relatively new and well furnished/kept up. We had to reach out to the owner via text message concerning a few items, however, he responded rapidly. Some little essential things needed to be addressed, however, all in all we found the place and the time to be excellent.

Had a great visit to this Vrbo. Kitchen is well stocked. We cooked all of our meals here and found everything we needed. The patio is perfect, plenty of space and chairs. Grill worked awesome, owner had extra tank of propane at the home, greatly appreciated. WiFi is very spotty, but he did tell us prior and is working on getting better, so for now I recommend bringing hot spot. Verizon worked fine. The owner was very quick with responses to all my questions prior and while we were there. Super clean throughout. Oh, the game room was a lot of fun, hadn’t played ping pong in years. Wish we would have booked for longer stay.

Majestic view
We had an amazing stay the weather was absolutely beautiful low 80s the entire time. The views from the home were just absolutely breathtaking we even saw many elk on each day of our stay roaming throughout the property. The home had everything we needed to cook and grill out and enjoy the views from the deck. There were three couples we all enjoyed the games in the garage it was fun to just unite and spend quality time together. We took our kayaks to Blue Ridge reservoir and it was just an amazing time. The old country in Wood fired pizza was a nice treat I highly recommend it if you stay there! We loved the place and it was a great stay. We would return in the future possibly an annual event! Cheers!

Impeccable design, stunning views!
We have stayed in Strawberry/ Pine many, many times over the years so our expectations were high. This beautifully designed cabin with breathtaking views exceeded our expectations for sure. Laks was very accommodating and responsive and made us feel at home. We celebrated my 50th birthday and our engagement so it was a special weekend made even more special by this stunning property. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to have a premium experience.

Beautiful and peaceful
We had a terrific time at is home. The bedrooms were a perfect fit for our group. We had a blast in the game room. The property had plenty of wildlife, gorgeous scenery and terrific hikes in the area. We had everything we needed. We are really looking forward to coming back soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this property. It was a great getaway for Thanksgiving weekend and we even got to see snow! The property was extremely clean and well taken care of along with being well stocked! We will definitely look to rent this again and would recommend!

Great mountain view cabin and brand new!
The cabin is awesome. It has all the amenities you need and is a new build on great condition. The views are spectacular. We had a herd of at least 20 elk greet us upon our first arrival to the property. It was pretty amazing to see. We were pleased to see how clean the place was and Laks was a great host keeping clear communication up to the scheduled stay.

Spectacular house
We stayed in for 4 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. Everything is extremely clean in the house and very new. The house design is modern and neat. The garage game room is fully equipped with games. The views are amazing. Very nice and quiet neighborhood.

Peaceful retreat for family!
We were stunned by the beauty of this home from the curb appeal, the beautiful decor, and the views! All we wanted to do is sit out on the deck and watch the elk and mule deer that visited at least twice a day and just enjoy the peaceful setting. The game room downstairs was a real hit with our kids and granddaughter and ourselves, as well. We also went on walks around the area and we cooked most of our meals on the BBQ or the nicely equipped kitchen.
We slept very well each night on the comfortable beds and we all liked that we all had our own bathrooms with showers with nice towels. Everything was sparkling clean and even this super fussy germaphobe nurse never felt like I needed to reclean things like I have done at other properties we stayed at in the past.
Overall, this was the perfect setting for our little four year old granddaughter’s birthday and she can’t wait to “go back to the trees” .....thank you so much! We will return!

Beautiful View, Wonderful Wildlife
The home was beautiful and clean, very comfortable for an escape from the heat. The large number of elk walking around like they owned the place was very entertaining. We saw a large herd of them, during all the days we were there. They even walked around our car and around the driveway, just watching us watch them, unconcerned with us. They made themselves at home, even eating some of the new plants on the property! Oops! It was a very relaxing time, and we appreciated the family time we spent together here.

Ahhhhh the Views, Breathe it in
From the moment you arrive at the top of the driveway and see this beautiful build look out over the forest, you know you are on vacation. Being greeted by a herd of mule deer walking over the driveway after we unpacked seemed almost planned. The decks around the home are a fantastic way to spend that early morning coffee and that glass of wine at the end of the relaxing day, that is, if you think doubles ping pong and a gorgeous neighborhood hike is up your alley. This is definitely a beautiful, therapeutic time spent with memories to take forever.

Gorgeous home in the mountains
This house was built on a hill with a perfect view of the forest and of course a gorgeous home. The check in process was made simple by the home being a smart home. You can tell the owners took pride with every detail of perfection in this home. The decor was modern with a twist of counry which fit nicely together. We had frequent visits by elk and javalina which was exciting. We didn't utilize the game room that much but it was packed with several games. Perfect weather during the day and the star gazing at night was breathtaking. We can not wait to stay here again. Perfect layout to accomodate families.
