It was clean and had everything I could ever beed on a vacation.
The parking lot could be paved or a little bigger. Maybe make a parking lot on the other side of the house as it was very tight for a SUV.

The main part of the inn was pretty enough. Room was clean.
Not kept up well. Weeds everywhere outside peeking through the stairs. There was a chair behind the door when we opened the door to get in. There was no key for us. Owner said the last renter must have taken the key and it happened three times this week, so many people had a key to our place. Curtains were sheer and let all light, including car headlights, in. Decor outdated. Air conditioning not great. Place not really close to much good stuff on the island.

We liked that it was a very clean room, king bed as we asked for.
There was nobody to receive us , only a guy with a broken leg who couldn't show anything for us. And by the way he was not expecting us there, we need to show him our reservation email. We had just got married on the island and we got very frustrated. Also the air conditioner was very noise and wasn't cool enough for the weather that night. The bathroom is good, but the shower very small. We took the smallest room because the biggest was smelling weird. And in the morning thre was nobody there. Our reservation was supposed to have breakfast, but not. And really there was nobody there at least to say thank you. Very different from others reviews. I'm sorry for writing a bad one, but at our big day we didn't got a good service.

I didn't eat breakfast. I'm not big on breakfast. Although, it did look food!
N/A - I liked everything.

It was a room in a house and someplace to sleep.
The room was not in an inn as advertised, It was a room in a house. I was not sure if the common area was for guests or the people living in the house. I asked the specific questions to the host in a text, but the host did not answer the questions I had. The linens and towels are not hotel quality. There was only a 1/2 roll of toilet paper that had 2 bedrooms with 3 beds and no extra rolls. No coffee in the morning. We felt as if we had to be super quiet in someone else's home. If the common areas such as the kitchen, living room, or dining were for guests, it is cluttered with too much furniture. There are no signs or information that tell you if you can use common areas. The host did not reply with the answers to my questions.

It was a truly unique space. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed the badminton and soccer field in the backyard. great for a family.
Location was a bit away from the “action”, but it would have been ideal for someone going to visit the farms in the western part of the island.

Organic coffee and pastries in the morning.
Shower curtain made the shower crowded.
6.0 / 10.0
nice grounds and porch, host recommended red cat cafe which was delicious, fresh blueberry muffins in the morning was a nice touch
bathroom down the hall (not attached to the room), no trash can in the room, window unit caused a gap in the window allowing bugs in that we had to kill, no paper towels in the kitchen, room was extremely tiny, very overpriced for the room

A comfortable place to stay. Internet was excellent - important due to a virtual hearing I had. Room was spacious, a bit worn but clean. Staff was very friendly.

Fairly overpriced, we got a small room after paying 400$. Ridiculous.

1. Where the clean laundry was kept on a desk downstairs, there was dirty laundry near it and touching the clean.
This makes an unsanitary situation.
2. It was difficult getting in and out of bed because of the roofline.
5.0 / 10.0
No breakfast is offered
It would be nice to have a communication of what room has been assigned instead of going to each room that isn’t occupied to see if these are the accommodations tha I booked.

We loved everything about the Inn other than our rooms a/c struggling a bit. But our room was spotless , the bed was comfortable, great location and very quiet , with a reasonable price and the owner wonderful.
The air conditioner in our room struggled a bit.

Everything! Felt like home! Room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable! Greeted by Keith upon arrival, made to feel right at home, given his number if we had any questions! Large common areas (kitchen, living room and family room). Large yard and porch to enjoy! Beautiful floral garden! Quaint little town all within walking distance! We rented a car, parked right in front of our door. Very, very, very safe location! GREAT STAY!! Hope to return soon! Would be a great place to reserve for multiple family vacation!
ZERO NEGATIVES!!

Keith was very nice and made us feel welcome! He bought breakfast in the morning. He also even offered to give us a ride and discounted our first night there! Would definitely reccommend!

The property is in a great location!
And is very comfortable!
My husband took me here for my birthday. The Innkeeper was kind enough to let us change rooms, so we had a bathroom in our room. We stayed in room 6. There was plenty of room and plenty of windows to open for fresh air. The bathroom was a good size with a jacuzzi tub. It was a great night stay for us!
In the morning we received a text saying there was coffee made ,and pastries from the Gray Barn being delivered. ( If you have time to go to the Gray Barn - their pastries were huge!! And fabulous!)
The Inn is a very warm and inviting place to stay. We will be going back soon!
There was nothing we dislike about the Inn.

The West Tisbury Inn is a beautiful, clean, and well managed gem on Martha’s Vineyard. Keith was very helpful and kind and answered all questions promptly and professionally during our stay. I cannot speak for the other rooms on the property but our room was spacious, clean, elegantly decorated, and well stocked with towels and toiletries. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the wrap around porch and enjoyed walking down the road to 7A Foods for breakfast. A short drive, Uber, or bus ride will get you to and from the airport and Edgartown.
At one point we had difficulty with the hot water but the owner very generously resolved our problem. If you plan on spending time in Edgartown or Oak Bluffs, plan to drive, Uber, taxi, or take the bus. Be sure to have cash on you if you do take the bus as they only take cash and there is no ATM within walking distance of the Inn.

Charming inn in a peaceful setting away from the crowds of Edgarton and Oaks Bluff; great location near the farmer’s market and bus stop. Very convenient. Our host, Keith, was friendly and attentive. He went above and beyond when we were stranded without transportation in Aquinnah. Very knowledgeable about the island. Highly recommend West Tisbury Inn

Beautiful inn, great service & wonderful innkeeper

I realized that when I started answering this Question No. 3, I jumped ahead to the second part.
Truth be told, there was really nothing that we liked about the facility.
We were not greeted/welcomed by the innkeeper when we arrived. Not a soul around. We were instructed to use the side stairs to get to our rooms. Didn’t see anyone our entire stay, except for a brief encounter my daughter had with Keith. I can’t remember the nature of that. Never saw the parlor or front porch until shortly before our departure.
Poor lighting. Could not see well enough to read in bed. The inadequate bedside lamp was burned out and we couldn’t find any extra bulbs.
Ran out of toilet paper on Sunday. Again, couldn’t find extra rolls. That was a challenge!
I would NOT describe this facility as a “boutique.”
The photos on their website show a lovely facility. This was NOT.
See above.
