It was relatively well stocked with cutlery etc and the house was generally spacious. There was a lovely garden at the back of the property.
The bedrooms in particular were not very clean. Lots of marks on the walls, dusty and sticky side tables, and lots of hair or grime in drawers. The bathroom and kitchen were much cleaner generally.

Cost set up. Lots of beds and lovely fireplace. Close to main road and other villages so a great location. Games and books are a great option.
Many Cobwebs, dust. cobwebs and dust behind all beds and floor and skirting, walls, around fridge, kitchen and dining edges, lounge room near tv, like it has not been cleaned there in decades!! Such a shame. All frypans scratches and burnt and unusable. Musty smell in general.

The house was very cosy and personable. It had everything we needed. Lovely quiet location. Nice garden. Lovely hikes in the neighbourhood. Walking distance from train station (about 10 minutes) which was great as we didn't have a car.

Pleasant mountain cottage, with plenty of room for us and our dog. Off street parking, secure yard.
Premium price with budget fitout. Cobwebs, claw foot tub had been relined and was peeling, towels were very small and almost threadbare, lounge looked great in pictures but was well past it's use by date, lumpy & no support, glassware was a mix of many different sets, no decent glasses, cutlery was the same. Log fire advertised but only one night of logs supplied.
Booking process was the most difficult we have ever encountered. Have never ever been required to pay a security deposit. Many similar comments in visitors book, clearly no notice has been taken.

nicely decorated, warm, homely cottage with secure backyard with a pretty garden. lovely walk to the main shops and cafes of Blackheath. good heating options provided as it was a winter break.

Ticked all the boxes for inclusions: very good coffee machine, slow combustion wood fire, electric blankets, smart TV. Tastefully renovated kitchen and bathroom.
Dirty smell (probably from previous pets). Nowhere comfortable to sit. The sofa was awful - way past its use-by date with indentations from where the last guests sat. The fire had not been cleaned and you're evidently supposed to bring your own wood! The renovated cast iron bath was peeling and rusty - in just a few places, but enough to put you off using it. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. We left after one night and Alexandro Homes' staff were polite and friendly but didn't listen to our complaints. They also insist on a $750 bond up front, and then took 3 weeks to return it. We had not been given the code for the key safe before we arrived. We had to phone them when we were at the property trying to figure out in the rain how to get in.

This house exuded comfort and relaxation with nice furniture and fittings and good linens. It was very well equipped for self catering. From the moment we stepped in, we eased into the house. It was a very peaceful location and we had a wonderful night sky with the Milky Way on full display.
There was a lot of paperwork to fill in advance. I was nervous about using some of the appliances in case it would have affected our deposit (it probably would have been ok!). Information on how to use the fireplace would be a good addition to the house manual.

We stayed here in January last year and the house was lovely and comfy and had a lovely mountain vibe. They fully fenced yard was great for our 2 small dogs to run around and get lots of exercise. Its a lovely quiet location within walking distance to a lookout and blackheath shops. Kitchen appliances were great and the coffee machine and grinder were luxe. Plenty of kitchen space and a lovely fire place which we used was so cosy. Parking on the property was a bonus and streaming services on the TV was great because it wasn't available last time we stayed
Disappointed that it seemed like the care and cleanliness had dropped significantly - the sheets on one of the beds had holes, there were cobwebs on the ceilings and the place hadn't had a proper dust in a long time as the windowsills had dust and dead insects sitting on them which horrified us. Also, quite off putting was finding human hairs on the bedsheets in one of the rooms. We were really unhappy about these aspects of the stay.

Exceptional stay, very cosy. A great pet friendly property as our 2 dogs loved roaming the backyard. The kitchen was equipped well and we loved the coffee machine and grinder. Lots of cosy blankets to keep us warm and the location is great. Lots of board games which we enjoyed. The lounge was one of the most comfortable i have ever sat on and in fact I fell asleep on there a few times. The backyard was so peaceful and relaxing and we enjoyed having a coffee in the deck chairs each morning. Thank you so much.
Beds were quite hard in 2 of the rooms, but some people like firm beds, just wasn't to my liking. It would have been good to have netflix or foxtel as we were to able to connect to the Chrome cast.

Cottage is very comfortable, well appointed, in a lovely garden and close to Black Heath centre.
Would have appreciated a smart TV with access to iview and on demand and perhaps even netflix
