Maravilhosa!

A receção feita pelo Sr. Maurício e pela Dona Maria foram top! Fizeram-nos logo sentir em casa! O pequeno almoço é maravilhoso, embora que um pouco tardio mas temos sempre tudo á disposição! O meu filho adorou, foi um fim-de-semana óptimo.

O valor do jantar achei um pouco caro mas o ambiente vale por tudo.

I hope to return.

Very friendly staff. I had no idea they served dinner. Marcelo made excellent meals for 20e for dinner. Breakfast was awesome and made with fresh eggs from the hens. Birds sang the whole time, fragrant flowers, peaceful location, beautiful property. Chickens, ducks, dogs were all fun. Daniel, the host was delightful. Maria did my laundry. I didn’t get to use the enormous pool.

Bed was hard. Room didn’t have toiletries. They don’t make up the room. But, it was a nice room and they brought me what was needed.

Superb

The house and the outside are beautiful and special. Very colorful. The staff were great and helpful.

The shower could be upgraded. There was a machine for water streams that was not easy to use and the water pressure was low, after they fix it as well. Maybe some maintenance is needed. But the bathroom was very pleasant. lots of light in the room in the morning.

Oasis of hapiness

Quinta da Azenha is a wonderful place where kids and adults may enjoy a lot of different activities. You don't want to leave the place. You feel like home. Very welcoming people. Few kilometers from Obidos. Special mention to extensive recycling garbage and the possibility to connect and charge your electric car.

No restaurant in the hotel, but the possibility to prepare your own meals (shared kitchen barbecue).

A really nice place do relax

all the outdoor area is really nice, pool is amazing. the owner is super nice my daughter loved the chickens and the ducks

the shower head needs to be changed and I would have loved some mosquito nets in the windows since there’s no air conditioning

Bait and Switch - Hostel provided instead

They put me in a hostel instead... Arrived as booked through booking.com. When I called the hotel upon arrival, they had no record of my booking. I had to drive around local Portugal at night (which I do not know) to pick up a key for another property. The next day they were able to find my booking but told me the hotel was not taking reservations anyway. Alternative provided turned out to be a hostel with same key for every room, with random bloke sleeping on the sofa in the main room every night and one night playing music and chatting until 3am. Unable to provide the room I booked and simply blamed booking.com, booking.com said it was up to the host. No refund has been provided with both parties simply not following up.

Superb

Very friendly staff and home made breakfast. We were treated like friends with coffee, fruits and home made cakes at our disposal. The room was cosy, warm and bigfor a family with 2 kids. Just the pefect gateway for the Halloween weekend. The location is closed to many attractions like Obidos, Lourihna dinosaur park, Buddha gardens, Peniche and Nazare.

A nature retreat for all the audiences :)

Quinta das azenhas it is a lovely and calm place for some days of rest in the nature. The rooms are super comfortable,there is plenty of space to chill eat watch tv several venues that give you privacy and make you feel at home. The pool is huge and super clean and the breakfast you keep you full for several hours! Daniel is extremely helpful and thoughtful, I went alone so i had the full kitchen facilities to cook my meals!

Since it is a farm there are flys everywhere. Nothing that the host can work on of course but it is quite annoying. Breakfast could have some vegan options :)

Family friendly and in perfect location. Could use some improvements.

The friendliness of the staff and the location were great! It did look appropriate for young families, although I could not check it for myself. The breakfast is very good.

The place was clearly undermanned, which showed in many occasions. Also, I was expecting to need to show a certification of vaccination, at my arrival, which never happened. That left me a bit uncomfortable.

Noisy, poor value for money

Nice location with easy access to both Peniche and Obidos, good breakfast, beautiful garden.

Rooms were very noisy (far from soundproof, as stated on Booking.com), you could easily hear people moving and talking in other rooms. Together with squeaky doors for several rooms/hallways, there is little chance of a good night’s sleep if you are a light sleeper. The room was not cleaned at all during our 4 night stay. Only a heavy blanket was provided for the bed, which was way too hot on warmer nights, in the absence of aircon. For the premium price we were charged, we expected far more in terms of basic comfort. Not difficult to find far better value for money in the area.
