One of the better Auberges I've been to. Nice location, accomodation standard quite close to a commercial hostel, not much to complain overall, acceptable breakfast also
As with most Auberges: cleanliness could be improved

Location and price
3.9
The staff was very nice, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast very good. Additionally, I loved the common room with the bookshelves (the possibility to exchange books) and the coffee machine :).
I would have wished that there had been a sink in the toilet or shower's room. The only sink is in the bed room.

1. Good shower pressure in the shower room, but it needs curtains because water gets everywhere
2. nice room nice view, I booked a room for four people and they gave me a room for two people. I was alonw for the whole duration.
3. the receptionist was pretty nice and kind, explained everything with poor english skills. He tried at least.
5. location is allright just one minute walking and you're at the bus stop (because of strikes, the transportation was not operating-that was awful)
6. there is a convenience store/bakery close by
1. the walls are really thin and you can hear basically everything that is happening in the other room - every opening of the door every slamming&shutting, every movement and you feel like it is in your room! Woke me up so many times!
2. No internet signal in my room - this was the worst, almost non-existent internet only in the common areas on the ground level. Extremely bad. Disappointing.
3. The breakfast was extremely poor and it definitely needs improvement.
4. The receptionists need to learn another language apart from their mother tongue. Also very disappointing.
5. The pictures here are deceiving. There should be proper pictures.

everything was super clean and the staff was very sweet!

It was exactly what I expected. I liked that it was calm and the view from my room. It was well organized, just right for one night. I had a good time.
3.9
Not a lot of people

The hostel itself is a nice place, and the included breakfast was great!
The hostel was quite far from the centre, and at the time of my arrival there was nobody at the reception desk, so I couldn't leave my bag there. I had to walk back to the city centre and visit it with all my bags on my back!
3.9
friendly stuff, breakfast, heating, cleanliness
not comfortable pillows, no soundproof (noise in the sleeping area), not cozy
3.9
Friendly staff and the rooms and beds were pretty good.
No wifi in réception or the room I was in. And the WiFi in the "WiFi zone"'was very slow. Also the toilet room it seems it wasn't clean. The trash was overfull.
3.9
A very nice lady at reception.
3.9
Good beds and sheets, breakfast included, enough showers and bathrooms for everyone.
Staff barely speaks English (but they were really sweet and we made it work!), in the morning ALL the windows and doors were open and it was ice cold. The WiFi doesn't even reach the rooms and barely works.

I loved the view and the area around the hostel was nice to walk around in. The reception was really friendly, and helped with questions. Breakfast was nice and there where lots of options
The only things that you should keep in mind when booking are: it's a little walk to the city from the hostel, luckily there are many busses. Also: breakfast is served till 9am

Good plentiful breakfast. Nothing special but certainly enough provided. Easy to get to tourist sites on bus from right outside hostel. Friendly and helpful staff.
Beds were hard and all chairs were hard plastic. Not relaxing to sit in for any time.

Good location, free parking, great breakfast
3.9
The WiFi didn't work well from rooms. Expensive for a dorm.
3.9
Very clean. Nice location a little out of town, but quiet and pleasant.
The room had an unpleasant smell. The mattress and pillows were thin and uncomfortable. The windows of the room were overlooked by a communal area.
3.9
Location
No locker space near bed. Shower and toilet space to small and miserable receptionist
3.9
1. Camembert on the breakfast - what a dream
2. A stuart (god bless him) gave me an empty room because of low loading of the hostel
3. A scenic territory of the hostel
But extremely hot. No conditioners at all.
3.9
Showers were cold. Turned out not to be a problem as stayed during the heatwave so could tolerate a cold shower!

The staff is friendly and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The breakfast is plentiful and the dining room is comfortable and spacious.
The wifi is effectively useless, with download speeds of 0.46 mbps. Don’t expect to be able to get work done here. Check-in details are not readily available, and check-in hours are limited. You aren’t guaranteed a lockable drawer in the room, as many of the drawer keys have been lost and not yet replaced. The kitchen is cleaned once per day, which may not be often enough. While there are plenty of common spaces, this hostel does not seem to be one focused on hosting travelers. It seemed like the majority of guests were local folks doing a long stay — it’s neither here nor there, but it depends on what you’re looking for!

loved that it was so disabled friendly, not that we needed that.
didn’t like the kitchen much it was not well equipped and unwelcoming. and

I booked and paid 2 days seperately. But I stayed none of them. This hotel close too early and far from station that make me late for check-in
3.9
Just what we expected from a youth hostel. bunk beds, sheets provided (no towels), WC and showers in the corridors. Breakfast was fine, simple but good food. Free onsite parking was available even though not listed on Booking.com.
it wouldn’t hurt to blitz the place with a deep clean, there’s dirt in the corners and the bedroom floor was sticky.
Other guests coming home rowdy at 3am was not great.
There are no hand basins in the toilets, you have to go back to your own room. There’s no hand soap provided. One can only wonder about the hand hygiene of other guests, and where they touch on doors, lift buttons etc???
3.9
Clean, nice staff, big and plenty of room to hang out
The wifi was a mith, didn't exist, only the staff's wifi wich they don't share. Check in time is 5:30, too late. Breakfast finishes at 9am, too early. Nice place, not well managed

They give you free breakfast, they have a nice little guest kitchen. It’s in a quiet area, but it’s a hike to the center /scenic part. The rooms have a sink and a table and chairs. It was clean. Beds have a light.
The lights turn off in the toilet every 30 seconds and you have to wave your hand in the air to turn them back on. No soap or sanitizer in the toilet or shower or in your room. No charger at your bed. It’s a typical HI hostel.
3.9
The staff was nice and the room too.
The internet was only downstair near reception, and the hostel is a bit too far from the center.
