We absolutely loved our time staying at this property! We were in town to get my daughter ready to move into the dorms at U of A, so it was wonderful to have the space to bring home our shopping scores, take things out of boxes and get them organized, and even wash her sheets and towels ahead of move-in day. The house was such a beautiful and restful place to come home to at the end of each day. The host family has a true eye for decorating -- blending cool and calm colors and textures with lively pops of color in tiles or artwork, crystals, and local objects. We even arrived to homemade cookies in the refrigerator and a package of chips and salsa! We communicated with the owners a couple times over our week there, and they are genuinely nice people and wonderful to work with. I'm already planning a return to Tucson, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

We have family living in Tucson and we were tired of staying at chain hotels. I gave this location a chance into my surprise. It was a wonderful wonderful experience. The house was beautiful and the chocolate chip cookies were highly appreciated. Thank you all!

What a great stay! The hosts were wonderful and so welcoming upon our arrival. They provided bottles of water, some carbonated beverages, bag of ice, homemade chocolate chip cookies and chips and salsa ready for us when we walked in the door. The space was open, comfortable and had a nice feel to it. There was a nice patio area in the back with some shade. The kitchen is on the smaller side but it worked perfectly since there was only three of us. The bedrooms were also comfortable and there were extra blankets if you needed them. We loved our experience and plan to return. The hosts made our experience memorable.

Casa Reina is an absolute jewel!
Well appointed, spotless, with its historical charm it will capture your heart as soon as you open the front gate.
The house is spacious and has a wonderful private backyard where you can relax while observing the hummingbird coming in for some nectar.
The host is superb, we found homemade cookies, a well stocked fridge and a welcoming handwritten note.
The hosts were prompt in replying to to our messages and everything worked out like a charm.
The location is central to everything, shopping, the UofA, Tucson Sonora Desert Museum, Downtown (including the superb Gem and Mineral Museum hosted in the historical Court House), restaurants…
The neighborhood is safe and quiet.
Don’t miss out, make this place yours for a while.

Terrific location, clear instructions from our host made it easy to get situated. The back patio and yard gave us a lovely setting to relax upon arrival. We were two sets of couples and the house was perfect to give us each privacy since the bedrooms are separated into two different wings. Clean, comfortable, great set-up. If we return to Tucson, we'll stay here again in a heart beat!

My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) stayed at Casa Reina for 3 nights as part of our tour of Arizona's National Parks. It was the perfect home base for us. The house is adorable and looks just like the pictures posted on VRBO. I especially loved all the local artwork throughout. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and the hosts even left some homemade snacks and cold beverages for our arrival. Beds were comfortable. I enjoyed early mornings on the back patio, sipping coffee and watching the F-16s from the local air force base fly overhead! The location is convenient, and easy to find. Just about a half hour from either side of Saguaro National Park. It is in an urban area, but we felt very safe here. If we were to return to Tucson, we would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for everything.

Lovely home for a stay in Tucson. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor. Wonderful patio for relaxing. Fantastic Safeway grocery store a short drive away. Thoughtful gifts from the hosts, lemons from their garden, cold drinks, chips and salsa. thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

We selected this property for a weekend getaway. It is centrally located close to many restaurants and the campus. The snacks and cold drinks were an added bonus. Love that the bedrooms and bathrooms are separated on each side of the house allowing privacy when needed. Also the access to the backyard from each side. If you have kids or a pet watch for the small cactus growing in the backyard. We will definitely stay again if available when we are in Tucson.

Great place for 2 couples. We each had our own side of the house. The treats left for us upon arrival were well appreciated and delicious. We have stayed in many VRBOs, this home and host are tops. The feel, the esthetics, the cleanliness made a super comfortable home away from home. We won’t look anywhere else when in Tucson

Everything is just fabulous. The house is lovingly decorated with local art and so comfortable. The layout is great for friends, families, or two couples. I always look for good outdoors space too and this property is wonderful with outdoors space from both bedrooms. Ann brought baked cookies over one day to add to chips/salsa and basics for cooking provided. I will be back for sure!

After reading the reviews for Bruce and Ann's home, I was looking forward even more to our vacation in Tucson. The home lived up to its exceptional reviews, and then some! It is nicely decorated with comfortable, quality furniture. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the necessities. Dish and glassware is plentiful and well cared for. The backyard is inviting, but the weather didn't cooperate during our stay. The welcome treats were very much appreciated! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was one of the most comfortable rental stays I’ve experienced. The house was bigger than expected with lots of amenities, and the owners were great hosts.

We had a great family stay - location is easy to get to and close enough to many Tucson activities- even to walk to. Neighborhood is quiet and clean and parking was right in front of the house. The house is even nicer than photos show. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms nice and yard pretty. We loved the place and would recommend highly.

We stayed at this property after Christmas 2023. It exceeded our expectations. Although the photos represent the property really well, it was even nicer in person, immaculate and well-presented. The hosts left a tray of home made goodies for us, along with ample sparkling and still waters, nachos and salsa. There were plenty of coffee beans for grinding fresh each morning. The sleeping arrangements work well with the master bed and bath located on one side and the second and third bedrooms on the opposite side of the property, so everyone has their own space. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. It was a homelike space to return to after a day out hiking, etc.
This property is also soundproof. Although it is near a main street, once you’re inside you don't hear a thing. It was too cool to enjoy the private garden, but it would be a great place to unwind. At the same time that you feel away from everything when you’re in the house, it’s close to Safeway, coffee, restaurants, and downtown, as well as roads that take you to the beautiful scenery surrounding Tucson. We highly recommend it and look forward to coming back!

We were two couples and thus very much appreciated the two wings of the house. Our two dogs loved the yard, savoring time outside in the AZ sun. The kitchen was well appointed. They even had two sheet pans!
It’s a pretty place to enjoy Tucson.

The location is perfect for just about anywhere in Tucson, but particularly downtown/university. The house is immaculate, well-stocked and very comfortable. Even with a homecoming game a few blocks away the house was quiet.

This is a beautiful property only a few blocks from the University of Arizona. We were able to walk to many events the college from the home. I spent a weekend with friends visiting my daughter for her sorority initiation. The owners are fantastic with communication, the best I've had in many VRBO stays. The home is cozy, welcoming, and well-appointed. It was a wonderful weekend with friends and my daughter.

My aunt, cousin and myself, convened in Tucson for a week of fun and exploration and could not have been more delighted with our home away from home. From the extremely well appointed kitchen (from 3 people who love to cook) to the beautifully decorated home, we couldn’t get over how perfect the house was. The bathrooms and bedrooms were great with great linens and. Very comfortable beds and pillows (so important and often a disappointment in even the nicest homes).
We were fortunate enough to meet the owners as well, and could see immediately, why the home was so well set up, noting they both have spent years in the hospitality business. This one is going in my favorites column for sure!

This was the perfect location for college move in. You can see the stadium two blocks away. The house was clean and had all the amenities including extra touches like cold drinks and snacks waiting upon arrival. Showers and bathrooms were spacious and had great water pressure. The hosts were excellent at communicating and directions and access were easy. We would definitely stay here again. The of street gated parking provided extra security.

The owners at this rental actually want you to feel welcome and they take steps above and beyond what is necessary to make that happen. Here are some examples. The towels are actually soft and large -- like ones I have in my own house. There are plenty of drinks and snacks upon arrival, like flavored water, bottled water, chips, salsa, chocolate. The furniture is comfortable and clean, not worn and tired. The linens on the bed are soft, with comfortable pillows. The entire property inside and out is immaculately maintained with high pressure shower heads, and resort quality outdoor patios and furniture. Even the toilet paper is the best you can buy (Charmin from Costco). We will never stay anywhere else when we come to Tucson.

The interior was thoughtfully designed and decorated with a flair for creativity and utilization of a lot of Southwest art pieces, and accessories. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked, and the hosts were very attentive. We will definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay in this beautifully decorated classic Tucson home. The location near the university was perfect for visiting family, convenient grocery shopping, and visiting the local areas of interest.
The hosts arranged convenient access to the home, which was especially appreciated when our arrival was unexpectedly delayed. A warm welcome included a buffet of snacks, seltzer and sodas, and a hand-illustrated note. They also provided fair warning when they were planning to visit the property.
All in all, my friend and I very very happy with our stay.
