About this apartment rental
Newly renovated loft apartment in its own building with lots of privacy. Plenty of space to enjoy on the property with private water access, fire pit and barbeque area, wooded area to explore, and bikes and canoes for your use.
The 600 S.F. apartment has granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, built-in beds, kitchen table, sitting area with TV, and air conditioning. There are 2 custom built queen beds with a twin bed above each. Perfect for 2 couples or families with kids. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your stay along with refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave.
Enjoy the beauty of northern Idaho right out your door. During the summer you will have a private waterfront area on Comeback Bay with easy access to Lake Pend Orielle. There are canoes available for your use or you can bring your own kayaks, paddleboards or other water toys. From mid-September through the end of May, the water level is lowered limiting water access as the bay becomes a creek during this time.
You will also have a newly built fire pit with chairs, picnic table, and grill for your enjoyment. Firewood is available for purchase if you would like to enjoy a campfire. You will also have access to a forested area with walking trails just across the road.
Just ten minutes to downtown Sandpoint, twenty-five minutes to Silverwood, and thirty minutes to Schweitzer (fifteen minutes to the Schweitzer shuttle parking lot) puts all of the area’s attractions within easy reach by car. Biking to Sandpoint’s shops and restaurants is a breeze too on the paved path across the long bridge easily accessible from our property. Even Spokane, Coeur D’Alene, and the Canadian Border are within an hour and twenty minutes from the property. Countless beautiful mountain lakes and hikes can be found in the multiple surrounding mountain ranges.
In the winter, Enjoy the snow sports at North Idaho’s destination ski resort Schweitzer Mountain! The Schweitzer Mountain Village/Ski Resort is a short 30 minute drive from the loft. There are ample areas for snow shoeing and cross-country skiing all around. Bring your snow mobiles and other snow toys and take advantage of the endless opportunities. Our location is a faster and easier drive to town for the fantastic restaurants and nightlife without braving the steep and winding road up and down Schweitzer Mountain.

Our hosts thought of everything and even left us cookies to welcome us! ( which my kids gobbled up)! The water access was delightful and just what we needed to relax and enjoy using the on-site kayaks! Wonderful experience we will never forget. We were even able to do a fire in the well laid out fire pit. This place was so unique as well in that we all had our own beds as well as a full kitchen which made the stay ideal!

We were here to see family and go to silverwood. This was such great place to start and end our days! There’s lake access with canoes and kayaks that I wish we could have used more. It was so great to go out and sit by the lake in the quiet of the morning. Really cute place. Modern. Clean. Owners are super friendly.

Loved it all. Everything convenient, anything you need if you’ve forgotten it. Secluded, roomy, great location and views of the water. Fix and eat in or go out. Easy to communicate. Fifth time for our stay there. Great family!

Immaculate, open floor plan room with plenty of space for you and your crew when visiting Sandpoint. Can easily sleep 6 guests with its combination of 2 queens and 2 twin beds. Well appointed kitchen for those who like to cook-in vs. dine out. This property is also very close to the lake so swimming is an option. The property is very private being located away from the highway, hustle bustle, and prying eyes. Very cordial owners live on the property and if you're lucky enough to happen into them say high, they are very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

One of my teenagers is over 6 feet tall. We often have trouble finding a place that has a right bed for them. No Issue here.
Everything was clean and very well maintained. I love the way they put all four beds together here.
This trip was mainly to go to Schweitzer. It takes us about 30 mins one way. The owner cleaned the driveway timely when it snowed. We really appreciated that.
One thing to note is this place doesn't have a dishwasher and washer & dryer. All of the kitchen utensils are very clean. There are four wall heaters. We were able to dry our snow jackets just by hanging them.
We'd love to go back here next time when we are heading to Schweitzer.

This was our families first trip to the Sandpoint area, we came for a wedding. This property was affordable, clean and absolutely fantastic for families. Parking was easy. We walked in to fresh cookies and discovered an amazing private beach with canoes and kayaks to use. The property was private and clean and owners were lovely. We had a bonfire one night and loved how family friendly the property was. We didn’t feel like we were living in someone else’s space but also felt at home knowing our kids could play freely. We will be back! This property is such a treasure.

We loved staying here! The owners were so welcoming and attentive. The guest house was nice and clean and fully stocked with everything we needed! They also had the yard set up for campfires, bbqing and yard games not to mention it’s own private lake entrance which was awesome! It was so close to downtown Sandpoint and only around 20 minutes away from Silverwood theme park.
10/10 from us!
We’ll definitely be staying here again!
Thanks again guys!

Small but mighty
This was the cutest place! It had a full kitchen for me to cook Christmas dinner and we had some great bonding time as a family sleeping in the same room. Very private, but the owners were on site to help us with anything we needed. We loved staying here and are planning a return trip this summer!

NEVER DISAPPOINTS
Our third visit here to this wonderful place. This time the water was up and we were in heaven. We borrowed the canoes provided for a lazy paddle on the water, looking at the spectacular homes and soaking up the sun. This place has anything and everything you can imagine. Ken and Paula are amazing people. Do not hesitate to stay at this clean, very well stocked VRBO. ~Mike & Michelle

I'm sure the area has lots to offer, but we spent most of our vacation sitting at the beautiful little waterfront area at this property and relaxing and reading. It was delightful and quiet. The apartment was beautiful and had what we needed. Sandpoint was close by for dinners. We had a very beautiful and relaxing stay.

Beautiful location and cute house
We had a fantastic time at this property. Very clean. The yard was huge and they had a great selection of games. The water was low ( because of the time of year) but the access to the lake was easy and such a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked with basics. The beds were comfortable. Our kids loved the bunk beds. We already booked to come enjoy in this summer!

Thankfully we arrived at our place just before dark, otherwise it may have been hard to find. Not that the owners didn't give us good directions... it's just that when it's dark, its DARK.. and the streets aren't well lit. We arrived around 4:30pm, and we were amazed just pulling into the driveway of what a great location this was. Our apartment was cute, clean, well decorated, and stocked with just about everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the heaters worked amazing. We loved having this as our home base. This was such a cozy place. We went to the grocery store in Sandpoint (not too far away), and we made breakfast & dinner every night. We enjoyed walking down by the lake in the morning in the crisp cool air! I loved listening to all the ducks in the morning/evening. We were only here for 4 nights (wish it were longer), but we enjoyed everything about this place. It was a great central location. We drove to Coeur d' Alene one day, and next day went to Schweitzer Mountain (which was about 30mins away), but mostly explored Sandpoint. We look forward to coming back ... maybe in the Spring! :)

Girls Getaway
My friends and I already live in Sandpoint, but wanted to have a fun girls get away close to home, and a place that didn't break the bank. We absolutely loved the little studio apartment. It was tastefully decorated, very clean, kitchen had plenty of dishes/cookware/utensils/etc., lots of space to store our things out of the way, and plenty of linens. We would definitely plan to stay again.

This was a great stay! Very clean, nice place with everything you need. Owners give you your privacy and are not in the same building as you. It’s a beautiful property and only 30 minutes to Schweitzer Mountain. I LOVED that they didn’t make us clean when checking out. That’s what a cleaning fee is for! The only thing I would even say that could use a little improvement is the comfort of the beds. I would think a foam pad on top of the mattresses would do the trick.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! Cleanliness is very important to me and I was not disappointed. I appreciated an ample supply of linens / extra blankets. The kitchen was also very well-equipped. Kudos to Ken and Paula for their gracious hospitality!! First, we were blessed with freshly baked cookies upon our arrival. Then, when it snowed 5” overnight, Ken was out early making sure our car was snow-free and clearing a path between the apartment and said vehicle. The biggest blessing, though, was the offer to use their personal sleds on the hill in their own backyard. Coming from a part of the country that rarely sees snow, we had a blast!! All of these small touches made our stay so very pleasant. We are looking forward to warmer weather when we can come again and enjoy the lake! A shout out to the property manager as well! Nick communicated very timely and graciously. You can not go wrong with this gem. The property has everything you need and is within a 10 minute drive of anything you might want from the store.

Incredible Waterfront Rental!
This was easily the best experience we’ve had on any trip! The place was spotless, exactly as described and shown, and had everything anyone would need for an incredible stay. We spent the days out at the water swimming and walking the paths of the property, are our meals at the different picnic tables located by the fire pit and by the water, then spent our nights by the fire pit roasting sausages, and making s’mores. They provided skewers and wood, and even brought some kindling to help start it up! I had concerns with a few things after just starting to walk again after 4 ankle surgeries, and they answered every question (even before we reserved anything) and went out of their way to help and make accommodations to help. The property is very close to great food, stores, beaches and is only about 5 minutes from Sandpoint, a huge attraction for us. The owners were so friendly, hospitable, and truly care for their guests. We’d highly recommend this to any friends and family and plan to make this an annual trip. I hope many take advantage of this hidden gem. Thank you for the amazing stay!
