About this house rental
Close to all of the area's great attractions: 12 minutes to Cedar Point, 5 minutes to Sports Force Park, 9 minutes to Kalahari Indoor Water Park, and 14 minutes to downtown Sandusky!
Inside the home there is (1) Full Bedroom that is on the main floor, (1) Queen Master Bedroom on the second floor, (1) Full Bedroom on second floor, and (1) Twin Bedroom also on the second floor that has (4) twin beds. We have 3 full bathrooms - 1 tub/shower combo on main floor and 2 tub/shower combos on the second floor. There is also a utility closet on the main floor that includes a washer/dryer for your use. There is a grill out back (propane tank provided).
The kitchen comes fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator, oven, and stove-top.

The house was exactly what we needed for our friend group... Lots of space to gather and to find quiet cubbies to escape when needed... The neighborhood was peaceful and other neighbors were kind and easy going... The house is well stocked with little extras and the host was wonderful. Highly recommend! Likely to stay again in the future.

The House was Beautiful clean and Cozy. Close to the shore perfect for sunset pictures... BUT the owner or some acquaintance of the owner showed up an hour before check out and drive pass the house and through the block for 45mins.. creepy.
FYI... we seen her pulling out of the drive way upon our return from getting breakfast for the house and seen the same van circling the house.

My parents use to live in Port Clinton and my we wanted to spend the weekend by the lake and together as a family. My mom unfortunately has Alzheimer’s and Dad wanted her to be able to have one more trip to the area. The house was clean and close enough to the lake you can enjoy the view from the porch. The house is a very nice size and accommodates a large group. The grille out back was not good but I called the owner and she immediately responded and actually reimbursed us for the charcoal grille we bought. We told her she did not have to we just wanted to make sure she knew it was rusted through and probably dangerous to use. I would stay here again. It was too windy to fish but had it not been there is a nice area and dock to fish off of. I’m grateful for a weekend to make memories we will never forget! Thank you!

The Rock House was lovely. The owner was a pleasure to work with and answered any questions quickly. The beds were comfortable and the living space was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

We were in the area for a wedding and prefer a home vs. hotel rooms. This house is perfect! It is beautifully decorated, updated, and comfortable.

We loved our stay in this stone house by the lake. It is decorated in dark blues and whites - very calming. There was plenty of space for grown daughter, grandma, sister and me and my husband. We enjoyed the large open living area. Husband and daughter had a blast with the foosball table. Enjoyed walking the adorable neighborhood and the views of the lake. The owner was very responsive and helpful. This place is a winner!

It was beautiful; looked like it had been recently renovated. Well-stocked with supplies. The host was very gracious and responsive. Only two disappointments 1) the shower liners in 2 of the bathrooms had mold/mildew (suggested to owner on leaving that the host's cleaner run all liners through a hot wash w/bleach) 2) the internet/TV access was Sling. Thus there was no access to live major broadcast stations (ABC, CBS, PBS, etc) during the time we were there.

Neighbors smoked alot, had to keep windows closed. Neighbors parked in street on one-way making exiting from driveway challenging.
Otherwise, was a cute little home to stay for our vacation.

The rock house
This house was perfect for our family!! We love the neighborhood and you can see the lake and the park from the front porch. The house was very clean and has everything you need.

Best VRBO Experience!
We had a wonderful experience staying at Stephanie’s Rock House! We brought our daughter and adult grandchildren from California (8 of us) to visit family in Sandusky and to enjoy the activities in the area. The Rock House is beautifully remodeled, tastefully decorated, and sparkling clean. The main floor is open concept, and accommodated all eight of us comfortably for visiting and dining. With eight people, the four bedrooms and three baths fit our needs. The house is located in a lovely beach neighborhood just across the street from a park and a small beach on the Lake Erie waterfront. The location is close to Cedar Point, golf, restaurants, and shopping. Stephanie is a great host. She was easy to communicate with and readily available to meet our needs. We’ll definitely stay again the next time we visit the area.

Awesome home and location
The home is absolutely beautiful inside, well-stocked, and a great location if you’re looking to go to Cedar Point. Eight of us, five adults and three teens, fit perfectly. We had our coffee on the front porch in the morning with a gorgeous view of Lake Erie, and returned to the same spot for happy hour. We went to Cedar Point, had beach days at Nickel Plate Beach 10 minutes away, went to Put-In-Bay (30 minute drive to the ferry) and to the Rock & Roll HOF in Cleveland (one hour drive). We had an awesome week and would rent this home again!

The house was better than the pictures and description. I want to remodel my house to look like it! It was spotless, very nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with staples that you don't usually find at rental properties. I highly recommend this rental if you are headed to the lake. Even though the eater's edge didn't have beach access it was still a beautiful view. The pier was unsafe due to corrosion but you can still walk down to the lake, a very short distance, and enjoy the view.

Absolutely in love with this house! It's such a beautiful home, with gorgeous decor and lots of space. Everything you need is at your fingertips, including yummy cocoa and coffee for the Keurig. It's just a stones throw from Lake Erie, in a lovely neighborhood. We came to town for a gymnastsics meet at Kalahari and loved that we were only about 10 mins from everything! Communication with the owner was super quick and smooth. We will happily return when we come back to town for another meet next year!

Absolutely in love with this house! It's such a beautiful home, with gorgeous decor and lots of space. Everything you need is at your fingertips, including yummy cocoa and coffee for the Keurig. It's just a stones throw from Lake Erie, in a lovely neighborhood. We came to town for a gymnastsics meet at Kalahari and loved that we were only about 10 mins from everything! Communication with the owner was super quick and smooth. We will happily return when we come back to town for another meet next year!

Perfect Lakeside Location
The rental is just as listed and absolutely beautiful! It worked great for our intended use...park and lake within walking distance. Host is extremely quick to respond to any messages. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Very nice home! Close to a lot of different things to do. We had 60 years old to 13. The neighborhood was really nice also. Only problem was we needed larger pans to cook in for our large group. We would definitely return.
