About this house rental
Villa Hibiscus has open plan living with a fabulous sea view. All three bedrooms have AC and ceiling fans, and the main bedroom has an en-suite shower room. There is wifi for anyone that wants to remain connected, a 40” HD smart TV and a Sonos music system.
The pretty garden has several areas to relax and unwind. The front terrace, with a sea view, has loungers as well as a built in BBQ, and both sun and shaded seating areas to enjoy al-fresco dining. On the back terrace you can enjoy lounging by the pool whilst the roof terrace has seating with spectacular views over the valley and Cala Torret coastline. The roof terrace and pool area are both gated for the safety of children.
The house is a short walk to Binibeca's beautiful sandy beach, bar Paupa at the marina and restaurants and cafes at Cala Torret. There is also a supermarket and bakery nearby.
Car hire is not necessary to enjoy the local area during the Summer season, but for those wishing to explore the unspoilt island and it’s many beautiful beaches, a car would be recommended.
There is much more to Menorca than summer sunshine and beaches. Out of the main season the island is popular with walkers, cyclists, mountain bikers (Cami de Cavalls), bird watchers (s'albufera des grau is a resting place for migrating birds) and foodies looking to enjoy the island’s varied gastronomy. Binibeca is quiet during this time and we would advise hiring a car but the spring and autumn low seasons are well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful stay at hibiscus villa, and our expectations were exceeded!
The villa is spacious, homely and we loved all the different areas within it, from the rooftop to the pool and the tortoise in the garden. The road nearby is really quiet, virtually no cars and the walk to the beach and town really close. My family with young kids and grandparents had such an amazing time, thanks to the hosts for their contact and coms to make the process really easy and enjoyable. Would love to comeback oneday!

A week of sun, chilling and for some running by the sea and playing in the pool! We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space very much. Making full use of the bbq and great outdoor seating. We enjoyed the local beach, the amazing bakery/cafe, exploring Sant Tomàs most westerly beach and an amazing speedboat experience with Navega Menorca. A perfect place to escape the busy pace of life we will be back.

The Villa is in an excellent location close to a well stocked supermarket along with bars and restaurants. The beach is very close. Villa is very well equipped and has a lovely outdoor seating area with sea views. Clare kept us well informed and the notes about the Villa and amenities/ restaurants are very thorough and helpful. All in all we had a wonderful 3 weeks helped by nice weather.

The property was just as described and the setting was perfect. Close to the lovely beaches and restaurants of Cala Torret/Binibeca. The pool was a great size for our family and the gates made it feel really safe. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Enjoyed our week at this accommodation - very clean, and with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. 5 mins walk to the local Binibequer beach, and to local bakery, grocery store and choice of restaurants. Loved the different terraces, all quite private and well supplied with sun beds and seating/umbrellas. Breakfast on the roof terrace was memorable.

Villa Hibiscus has everything you could need for a enjoyable holiday on the coast. The nearby beach is picturesque and is within walking distance of the villa. The gardens at the villa are particularly delightful, full of Mediterranean plants including a beautiful scarlet hibiscus as the name of the villa suggests. Lovely sea views from the terraces were a great feature of this very pleasant holiday home.

Perfectly located villa
Just spent a week at Villa Hibiscus and it was wonderful, we hope to be back again. The Villa has everything needed, is extremely well kept and equipped. The pool and outdoor areas are also really well kept and maintained..
The town beach is a short walk away as are more than a few good restaurants and shops. Not everything was open given we were there in mid October, but we were able to get everything we needed.
We look forward to returning to Villa Hibisucs in the next year and only hope there will be availability when we can go.
Thanks to Clare and Patrick for taking care of everything.

Just the best!
We have just returned from the most wonderful 12 days at Villa Hibiscus. It’s a wonderful villa and perfectly situated in terms of the local shop, restaurants and beaches. We’ve stayed at a few villas in Binibeca and this was by far our favourite! As others have said the photos don’t do it justice….the view is fabulous! Sundowners on the roof watching the boats go by was my favourite time of day! The villa itself is lovely, very comfortable, very clean and the welcome package was awesome! Thank you Claire and Patrick for your warm welcome….we will definitely be back!

Very highly recommend property & location
Honestly, we can say only good things about this property and our experience prior to and during our stay. While the pictures are great, the property is better in person. Lovely, well-equipped, uncluttered, clean and bright house. The outdoor area is a nice size with plenty of lounging/seating options, a great pool and good barbecue. The sea views (from patio & roof terrace) are superior to the pics. The rental process itself was easy; questions were answered efficiently (thank you Claire) and the arrival smooth. The managing agent was also helpful and the two cleaning staff who came after the first week of our stay were friendly and efficient. Thank you ladies!
The location of the house is great - within a few minutes’ walk you have several good restaurants, a lovely bakery, a decent supermarket, lots of great walking/biking options and within just another few minutes, a lovely beach.
We tried a few of the restaurants that are a 5-minute walk away. Barracuda was our favourite. While it may not have the view of those on the seafront, it was honestly some of the best food we have ever eaten (gambas starter, in particular). On the seafront, Salitre and CalaMar are both very good. Farther afield, we also really loved Cap Roig near Sa Mesquida.
For grocery shopping, we used Sa Botiga de S’Uestra (10-minute drive from property) supplemented with Lidl as the former is a bit pricey. The supermarket near the restaurants is well stocked and open until 9pm (at least that is its closing time in July) so, great for picking up last-minute items.
In addition to a few casual walks in the local area, we hiked several sections of the Cami de Cavalls and can highly recommend using the guide on the bookshelves - while I did find some decent online sites too, the book really is great.
Regarding beaches, our favourites were Binissafuller (15-min drive) and Sa Mesquida. The bigger beaches of Sant Tomas and Son Bou were also nice. There is also a nice beach within a 15-min walk.
If, like us, it will be your first time in Menorca, definitely take the time to explore both the larger cities and the small towns. There is so much to see and enjoy.
We look forward to returning to explore more in the future and making Villa Hibiscus our base from which to do so. Thank you Claire & Patrick!

Absolutely stunning property
We booked this lovely villa, last minute and were so impressed with everything, it’s such a great location with lots of lovely restaurants and shops a 5 minute walk away, the sea view is much closer than it looks in the pictures, it’s great for watching all the boats from the terrace. The villa was really comfortable a big ask for us when we go away, the bed was really comfy as was the outdoor sofa and seating areas, the roof terrace was great in the evening for star gazing. The road next to the villa is really quiet hardly saw or heard a car. When you get to the bottom of the road you can swim from the rocks which have ladders into the sea, its so clear and great for snorkelling, or if you prefer another 5 min walk and there is a lovely beach with a great beach bar. Booking was easy and the hosts were great and always answered any questions when I text them. Great service from start to finish, would highly recommend.
