This was our 2nd trip to the Robin's Nest and Lake Ann in 3 years and it did not disappoint again!
First, Jennie and Matt are amazing hosts. Excellent communication from booking until after check out. Everything you need and more if you just ask.
Lake Ann is amazing area both for the people and its proximity to everything in the NW Lower Peninsula. Long days at the lake, sight seeing, and travelling are rewarded with a home base stay at the Robin's Nest. And nothing beats that first pint of the day at Lake Ann Brewing!
Thank you again for everything and look forward to our next summer booking!

This was our first experience traveling to Michigan. The accommodations at Robin nest were perfect for our family which included two adults and three children. We had ample space to enjoy the home and great location to area beaches and attractions. Check in and check out process was, a breeze and the home was well equipped To cover all of our needs.

The Robin’s Nest was the perfect home away from home for our family. The home is centrally located to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, and many other beautiful areas to explore in Michigan. The location was also ideal for enjoying the conveniences of Lake Ann. The walking distance to the coffee shop, Lake Ann Brewing, Corner Cup, park and even the lake was second to none! The back porch was a nice retreat at the end of a long day. The kiddos thoroughly enjoyed the home’s upstairs featuring their own bunk room, play area and reading nook. The owners take pride in their home, including the lovely flowers and were gracious with offering any needed help. The arrival and departure procedures were clear and easy to follow. We hope to be back soon!

We chose the Robin’s Nest because it was close to everything we wanted to do during our Michigan trip. It may just be my favorite short-term rental stay ever. Extremely clean. Friendly & helpful host. Beautiful location. Will definitely be returning.

We came to stay for a week-long July 4th trip. The house was even better than the pictures- so cozy and inviting. The location is unbeatable, with a brewery right behind the house (you can see it from the main bedroom) as well as an ice cream shop, coffee shop, and playground steps away. We had a great time exploring the village of Lake Ann, the Traverse City area, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. There were also plenty of kids games and books for our toddler to keep her occupied during our downtime.

We would definitely consider returning. If we are ever planning to be in the area again, we'll stay here.

We enjoyed the house and the feel of a small town! My only suggestion would be to have blackout screen for the downstairs bedroom. Due to the activity of the brew pub lights kept coming thru even with the shades closed! Other than that it was a wonderful place and the manager was great!

This was our best ever experience with a short-term rental property - it is difficult to know where to start. The hosts are fantastic - from booking until after we got home, they made sure that any stay would be spectacular. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The property is amazing - newly remodeled, upstairs was perfect for 4 14 year-olds, the kitchen, washer-dryer, provided gas grill with propane, fire pit with wood provided - covered porch with table that sat 6 - all first rate. The house is perfectly located - walking distance from a micro-brewery which hosts live music, the local ice-cream shop, the post-office, grocery store - everything within walking distance. Short drive to Interlochen (and a big grocery store - Toms), the Sleeping Bear National Park, Dunes and Good Harbour Beach, Lake Lelanaugh, dining, hiking and recreation. And if you don't know where to start - the hosts have provided everything you need in a well-organized sheaf in the kitchen! The home was immaculate, with ample cooking supplies, dishes, silverware, anything you need for a great vacation. We didn't have a single issue I can think of. It does only have a single bathroom - but it is modern and well done, and posed no challenges - even with 4 14 year-olds. They thought of everything. I can't recommend this place highly enough. And on top of everything, it was a terrific value. I would definitely book it again.

This house was awesome. It had everything we were looking for AND it was centrally located within a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, Empire, and Traverse City. The house was right across the street from a very cool brewery and restaurant. Would definitely return to this property! The owner, Jennie, kept good communication with us throughout the whole process.

We had been to Lake Ann Brewery several times over the years. Last time, Matt told us about his Robins Nest. So this trip we rented it to stay in town and by the best brewery in northern Michigan 😉❤️ It’s clean and convenient to LAB, the bread Lady, the Stone Oven, coffee shop and LA grocery!! Also a great location with acces to several lakes for fishing! We golfed Bahle Garms and Champion Hills and loved both. But there were many more. And if you hike the Dunes are a short drive away!!

We had an awesome stay at Robins Nest. The house was clean, well equipped, and in a great location for our travels. It was great to meet Jennie and Matt they are so friendly. Spent the first evening just enjoying the fabulous deck. On Friday we stopped at the Bread Lady before traveling to enjoy some wine and breweries. Coming back a quick dinner on the deck before walking over to Lake Ann Brewery for fabulous entertainment! We had only a 2 night stay, but could have easily stayed for a week! We would definitely rebook the next time in this area.

Lake Ann is a cute small town and this property is right smack in the downtown area. The property is kept very clean and Jennie and Matt are very responsive and helpful to anything needed during the stay. The rental has whatever you need to grill or cook - and the area for the fire pit is private and nice. We really enjoyed the privacy of not having other houses right next door. It’s about 20-30min drive from whatever you’d like to do in the greater TC / Leelanau area.
My kids loved walking and riding their bikes to the park. Red door coffee is fantastic and a cute coffee shop. It was nice to hear the live music from the brewery while playing with my kids in the driveway.

BEAUTIFUL and great location!
We had a fantastic time at the Robin’s Nest! It was just as the renters pictured and everything was clean and organized! We were able to cook some meals at the home and they had all the utensils you could need. We brought our own food and cooking spray, and some items for the fridge. The house was PERFECT walking distance to visit the park across the block, and all the food and coffee shop! We also loved that we were 20-40 minutes away from so many amazing Michigan attractions and lakes. The sand dunes weren’t too far, and we just had a fantastic time exploring and then getting to come back to this beautiful home. We hope to be back soon!

Great for girls weekend
My daughters and two of our friends met at the house and had a wonderful time. We visited the dunes and shopped Traverse City. Lake Ann is centrally located, house was quaint and welcoming, and the community is lovely. We walked to the Lake Ann Brewing Company for dinner the first night.
Highly recommend this home.
Only note was that there was some louder music from the bar both nights but it ceased at 11PM and was not a bother to us.
