This cabin is an amazing place to stay. It was perfect for our large family of 22. This home is spacious yet comfortable. We were able to spread out and have lots of activities happening at once. We were particularly grateful for the game room on the first floor where we were able to close it off to the rest of the house and contain the noise when other family members wanted to sleep.
Also the kitchen is well stocked with everything you can think of. One bonus is that there is also a small kitchenette on the first floor that is not shown on the listing. The extra fridge came in handy to keep our drinks in. There is also another stove and oven that we put to good use.
The beds are very comfortable. One thing to be aware of is that the bedrooms on the first floor with the double and queen beds, they each have one loft bed and one bed underneath. This could be a problem with more than one couple staying in these rooms, but we were able to work it out.
There is also plenty of towels available, so no need to bring your own. We also enjoyed the hot tub that was very clean and well maintained.
The location of this cabin is amazing and the views are breathtaking. The owners are extremely easy to work with and always available for any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

wow.... I cannot describe how amazing this place was! We had 17 women for a Bible Study Retreat attend over a long weekend and it was perfect. The location is super easy to get to but we felt like we had a ton of privacy. We easily managed with 17 people and had room for a few more. The house was fully stocked and we were constantly impressed with the attention to detail. We had the privilege of meeting the owner/builder who walked us through when we arrived and that was a highlight for us since we got to hear the story of the creation and all the little special things he added to the home. I even texted him about an item I forgot and sure enough he had one and was more than happy to lend it to me. The firepit was a huge hit with everyone and we enjoyed the massive hot tub. We truly felt like we were in the perfect place. It was an amazing experience and we have already signed up for next year!

There were 19 of us. It was a family vacation. This place was so nice and so much fun. All of the craftsmanship in the lodge was amazing. And there was space for everyone. Our grandkids loved the game room. We also did crafts in there. We enjoyed the beautiful view. We loved the beach and the fire pit. Everything was perfect.

Magical vacation for extended family of 22. Ron Brutsman started the stay out as a great host with a grand tour of the cabin. From the hot tub to the practically private beach just 100 yards away, this cabin did not disappoint. The full walk around porch made it great for kids. Huge lot with multiple trails to the beach. The water was awesome and refreshing to paddle board and canoe in between sand castle and beach bumming. All 5 bedrooms were fully stocked with plenty of blankets, linens and so many towels. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to avoid eating out. I mean everything!! Grocery store was about 25 minutes away. Rooms were quiet despite noisy kids having lots of fun smiles and laughter. The decor became more and more impressive as you noticed the fine details throughout the stay. The game room was great teenagers and adults. The large tvs made it easy to entertain as we rested. Fire pit and s’mores in the evenings. Two washers, two dryers, two ovens, and two dishwashers made it easy to keep it clean and stress free with 22 people in the house. Location was great with the beach to walk to, a very cool bridge to jump off nearby, great trail running and mountain biking within minutes. Needless to say, every member of our family was sad to leave and want to go back again. It was a magical time for our family. Highly recommend.

Each year we organize an annual guy's ski trip. This is our 27th year, and after a two-year hiatus for Covid, we picked Brundage and Tamarack. 12 of us attended. We are all over 65.
I found Ron's magnificent mountain cabin on VRBO and it didn't disappoint. Incredibly clean and roomy for such a large group. And minutes away from the ski area. As you might imagine, after all these years, this is a pretty picky group, and several guys indicated that the trip was one of the best ever thanks, in large part, to the accommodations.
Thank you, Ron, for being such a gracious and helpful host. You were so responsive to my questions and made us feel so welcome. Hope to return again soon!

This was my first time at this house and my family and friends have had a nightmare stay. Our whole house was filled with carbon monoxide because of the house's cheap piping and faulty carbon monoxide detectors. When the ambulance arrived because all of our kids were throwing up. They quickly opened the doors to the house and let the house air out. Then they proceeded to check everyone for carbon monoxide poisoning and 16 of the 19 people tested positive for carbon monoxide. We initially thought this poisoning happened at the hot springs we were at and we didn't say much to Ron. Then the carbon monoxide "experts" came and checked the house when it completely aired out. I talked with someone in the ambulance when they were giving the kids oxygen and they said this wasn't the first time the "big house on the corner" filled up with carbon monoxide. The next day we received our paper work and one of the kids got "food poisoning" which was very weird since everyone that was helping us said we had carbon monoxide poisoning. When we were leaving the house, I got a text from Ron about some missing remote and that I should keep a habit of putting it in place. I said to him "I haven't even seen a remote downstairs and he shouldn't talk like that to me after what happened" and his response was "I will counter it with the food poisoning paperwork" that he found in the trash. Today I received a huge fine for ripped couch, railing damage, remote control lost etc. for damage I never did! Ron has completely lost his mind.

We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding at this property and used it for our getting ready space. It was perfect with our large group of 24 people. There wasn’t a single thing that the property didn’t have. We will definitely be back. The owner is also amazing and greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour. This place is massive and we definitely needed the tour. Can’t wait to come back!

The place was perfect to rent out for a weekend retreat filled with a bunch of dancers that wanted to use the garage space to dance! The location and house itself was awesome! Note there’s no central AC, and the house is cooled down by opening windows at night and fans in the house. Overall opening up the windows at night and leaving doors closed during the day does cool the house down. So overall the temperature felt nice, but if you’re dancing in the garage like we did - bringing some fans would be recommended.
Also note that a major plus was that the host was very flexible to my groups needs, and communicative when I had questions or if I needed to shift the time if check-In or check-out. The host’s flexibility and easy going nature made this weekend stay go so smoothly - which I highly appreciated! I would definitely stay again!

This was an absolutely gorgeous cabin and a very fun place to stay. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped for a large group of people with extras of everything, multiple dishwashers, ovens, plenty of chairs, etc. We loved having our own private beach right out the back door. Our host was very accommodating and easy going with our very large group that included many small children. Thanks for everything Ron!

In love with this property!
Every year a group of friends rent out a cabin for the 4th of July week and this cabin by far was the best we've ever stayed at! Not only is this a beautifully built cabin but all the amenities kept all the little kids busy for hours and hours! Access to the lake was a huge bonus! We'll definitely be booking this cabin again!
