Perfektes Guesthouse in Hermanus

Sensationelles Frühstück! Jeden Tag ein "Special", Frische Obstplatte, Eier nach Wahl. Alles frisch auf Wunsch zubereitet. Stefan gibt euch Tipps und Empfehlungen was Ihr in und um Hermanus erkunden könnt. Das Haus liegt 5 Minuten von einem Supermarkt und 10 Minuten zum Hafen entfernt. Wenn wir wieder nach Hermanus kommen, dann ins Penguino

Ruhige, Zentrumsnahe Lage mit gutem Frühstück und Entertainment.

Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer vom 13.11. - 17.11.23. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß, wäre aber für Regentage etwas eng. Das Haus selbst liegt in einem Wohngebiet ohne besondere Aussicht, an einer ruhigen Nebenstraße. Es ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, hat im Innenhof einen Pool und Sitzplätze. Parken ist auf dem Grundstück gut gesichert möglich. Man ist fußläufig über den Cliff Path schnell im Zentrum. Stephan der Entertainer der Küche war immer guter Laune und hat seine täglich wechselnden Frühstücksspezialitäten vorgestellt und alle mit seinen Geschichten gut unterhalten. P/L für die Lage in Hermanus angemessen.

Das WLAN war teilweise schwach. Da könnte ein WLAN-Repeater evtl. helfen.

Penguino Paradise in Hermanus: Outstanding Service, Modern Comfort, and Local Wisdom

The Penguino guest house exceeded all expectations with its outstanding service and modern decor. The prime location allowed us to reach everything on foot, and the owners provided valuable tips on the best things to do in Hermanus. The a la carte breakfast was a delightful touch. Adding to the charm, the owner's sweet dogs brought joy to our stay. Practical amenities like pool towels, TV with access to German channels, and online magazines made our experience truly seamless.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in familiengeführtem Gästehaus!

Die Unterkunft und unser Zimmer waren sehr schön, gemütlich, sauber und wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt bei den sehr netten Gastgebern! Wir haben mit unserem kleinen Sohn (10m alt) sogar einen extra Raum zum Frühstücken erhalten, sodass er krabbeln und spielen konnte. So haben wir uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt! Das Frühstück hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen! Sehr empfehlenswert, insbesondere als kleine Familie!

Habitación amplia muy limpia con garaje privado. Desayunos espectaculares.

El baño no está separado del dormitorio por lo que no hay nada de privacidad para hacer tus necesidades. Es muy bonito pero poco funcional

Unsere Zimmer war nah zum Esszimmer, daher teilweise laut, aber aushaltbar. Also nicht weiter schlimm.

angenehmer ruhiger Ort

Frühstück war lecker und vielseitig, die Gastgeber professionell und freundlich, die Lage der Unterkunft ruhig aber dennoch ist das Zentrum rasch zu Fuß erreicht. Parken war problemlos auf dem gesicherten Gelände möglich. Das Haus ist gegen die Stromausfälle abgesichert.

Leider roch es in den Zimmern etwas muffig und eine Info, dass der Besitzer 2 Hunde hat,, die frei überall herumlaufen wäre gut gewesen, damit Allergiker gegen Haustierhaare informiert sind. Das WLAN hat teilweise Probleme (hängt wohl mit den Stromausfällen zusammen)

Super schone en ruime kamer. Wordt iedere dag weer netjes gemaakt. Daarnaast is er iedere ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt die de eigenaar vers voor je maakt. Het is ook persoonlijk omdat de eigenaren er ook rondlopen en geïnteresseerd in je zijn.

Wundervolle Unterkunft mit großem Wohlfühlfaktor

Stephan und Nikki sind ganz herzliche Gastgeber, wir hatten eine ganz tolle Begrüßung und viele Tipps bekommen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und wir durften das beste Frühstück auf unserer Reise genießen. Wir können es absolut weitet empfehlen und werden wieder kommen.

We had a great stay at Penguino Guesthouse.

Nikki and her two fur babies, Harvey and Pippa, gave us a warm and friendly welcome and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is great. The breakfast was absolutely divine. Our room was extremely clean and the bedding is of a high quality. A BIG bonus is that the guesthouse has solar power supply and are not affected by the loadshedding. The only suggestion we have is that, in addition to the warm water bottles, there should be heaters or electric blankets in the room.

The best place to stay in Hermanus

if you go to Hermanus. you have to stay here! An incredibly warm welcome, with amazing hosts who have a vast amount of local knowledge and they were so kind. The location was wonderful right near the cliff path. Room was spotless and beautiful, the breakfast was outstanding and better than most hotels we’ve stayed at. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! we had a wonderful time.

Fabulous property

We arrived at Penguino well before the check-in time and thought we would see if it was possible to leave the car parked there while we went to explore but we were met with a very friendly welcome and shown straight to our room. The house was lovely with the guestrooms situated around the pool. Our room was big and modern, spotlessly clean. The location was an easy walk into town and during daylight you could follow the cliffpath which was beautiful. A great advantage to this property was the solar panels which meant load shedding was not an issue at all. The couple who own Penguino are both lovely, happy to chat and provide lots of local information.

Fantastic owner, very friendly with good tips around town and south Africa. Really appreciated the flexibility and intention to make it as comfortable as possible for the guests with kids. Amazing breakfast!
