My wife and I live 30min away. We needed a break from everyday life. The atmosphere at this property give us the rejuvenation we needed.

A very BASIC, older, but clean cottage with a beautiful view of the lake. I stayed off season since I was looking for a place close to my kids’ house in Middleton. The location is in a neighborhood, but since it was off season no one else was around. As a female traveling alone that creeped me out a bit. I would stay there again in season when more people are around

This is a beautiful little cabin with great views. It has all you need for a fun and convenient get away :)

Quiet location on the lake. While it is aptly named “tiny” it is quite cute and comfortable for 2 pp. Would only ask that they put in some dishes that are microwave safe as you can’t really cook there. Overall I would recommend it and would stay there again.

Beautiful & pleasant stay - definitely planning on staying again!

We were looking for quick getaway to decompress and recharge. This fit the bill. The cottage is steps away from the water and floating dock. Everything was clean and tidy. The cottage size is perfect for a couple. Early morning coffee on the deck was greeted with an Osprey diving for fish in the lake! We can't wait to return.

A nice cottage with a quiet location and a beautiful view

My stay was for three nights. Shopping and beach areas approximately 30-35 minutes away but the lakefront cottage more than made up for it. I would definitely stay here again!

Lake beseck is great! We fished and kayaked everyday. The view of the lake from the cottage is beautiful. Plenty to do around as well. Would stay again!

Relaxing stay, beautiful lake, fun fishing, and relaxing firepit. Just wish our stay was longer. The kitchen has everything you need if you plan to cook during your stay.

Excellent . Cottage was very comfortable. Well appointed. Location and setting perfect. Perfect for sitting on deck and enjoying the lake and for getting out to explore the area. Dot very responsive especially when I locked myself out. Hope to return.

Hello! Thanks for a lovely stay in this beautiful cabin. It was exactly what I was looking for. A couple items I noticed during my stay that could prove helpful for future residents. 1. It would have been nice to have more than one toilet paper roll for a 20 day stay. 2. It seemed like the whole kitchen was equipped except for a little pot to make oatmeal or heat up something small. 3. I brought an electric tea kettle, but it would be nice to have a tea pot for such a zen space. 4. The ad pictured a very comfy and well equipped porch and I was disappointed to find the opposite. I disagree with advertising a space that is not available as such especially with the porch being the focal point of the lake house. With all that said, I thought I got locked out of the cabin and I was so relieved Dee got back to me ASAP and validated my fears. She was comforting and I needed it. Thank you again for providing a safe and clean home to heal and rejuvenate. Best, Isabelle

Cute little cottage. Exactly like the pictures on the site. The scenery was beautiful with all the bright colored leaves on the trees overlooking the lake. Would stay there again.

The cottage was just right for a short stay for one person.

Everything was great, very relaxing & quite. Bed was comfortable and clean. We plan on coming back in December if there is availability

My husband and I came for a quick parents weekend away in the fall. Check in was super easy, the cottage was clean and cozy, and the outdoor deck was perfect for morning coffee with a view. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very easy transaction to rent.

Cottage was not ready when we checked in. It had not been cleaned at check in time (4:00). Bed was not made, no clean towels. After calling Dee the cleaning person did come over to clean the cottage while we waited outside. Bathroom really small, shower really small. Would recommend you put an iron board and iron in the cottage. It would be nice to have kayaks or canoe on premises. With that said, it is an excellent location, on the lake, beautiful setting. close to golf, orchards, and other attractions.

Starting off… we messaged Dee 30 minutes before arriving which would’ve been 4:30 (30 minutes past check in) we sadly did not get a response until about an hour after sending that message. After a 3 hours drive we really needed a restroom so we were forced to go out and wait for a reply. We ended up going to get food and waiting for a reply. Once we were done eating I received the call from Dee with an apology and we were given access to the VRBO. Accidents happen so we just moved on. Sadly that night was a bit of a roller coaster with a random person walking onto the deck of the VRBO which made my spouse feel very unsafe and concerned. I messaged Dee and she almost immediately called me to ask who/what the person was doing there. Once I spoke to them Dee said she would come down to speak to them herself. Seemed like the gentlemen meant no harm but still private property let alone someone from out of town was staying in the cottage. After this Dee apologized repeatedly and reassured us this has never happened and won’t happen again. That night was a rough one after the nerves from the stranger. We wanted to have a drink and sit on the deck to relax but after walking onto the deck at night we noticed an absolutely insane amount of spiders covering the entire cottage. Although the inside was very clean and cozy the outside was crawling with spider webs. It looked like the outside had never been power washed before so we decided against using any of the outside amenities. The following day my spouse had plans and I spent the day fishing. The fishing was worth it and I actually caught my best fish ever. After this I get a call from Dee as the company offered us an extra night stay due to what happened but that was honestly the last thing I wanted to do since it didn’t seem safe. My recommendations: There was only enough for 2 people in the cottage. 2 pillows, 2 towels, 1 quilt, 1 small blanket. So maybe have a little extra to allow the guests to be more comfortable. It’s a nice spot but the outside reallyyyy needs to be pressure washed. The door from the inside doesn’t close properly which was another concern so definitely need that fixed to feel safer. The best parts: Dee was very kind and made sure after our incident that we had everything we needed. We were offered another night which was a very nice gesture.
