About this cabin rental

SKI IN SKI OUT with private hot tub
This is the icing on the cake for a ski vacation. No longer worry about parking and lugging all your gear to the resort. Ski as little or as long as you like. Ski home for lunch or dinner.
Head back out for night skiing. This saves so much time, effort and hassle.
For summer months Brian head offers mountain biking, scenic lift rides and many family activities for families.
The cabin is centrally located between Zion and Bryce national park.
Don’t forget about Cedar Breaks and Parowan gap.

Chalet Somnium (of dreams)
Relax in this cozy 4bd 3bth + loft bunk with queen mattress, fully renovated ski in/out chalet. Entertain with the fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar. Curl up to the comfort of the gas fire place or wood burning stove. Enjoy the beautiful views of Brian Head Resort from the blissful cabin widows. Escape to the serenity deck, (covered or uncovered) to listen to the cascading stream running through the property. When you are ready to liven things up, fire up the state of the art bbq to create the perfect meal. After a long day of skiing, biking, hiking, or enjoying miles of ATV and snowmobile trails the private hot tub will top of the perfect ending of a perfect day. The cabin boarders Brian head ski resort and has ski in ski out access.
The cabin sleeps 10 in beds 3 king and 2 queen beds.
The cabin has a 1500 gallon fresh water storage tank. You have access to all 1500 gallons for your stay. We haven’t used 1500 gallons in a month. A shower uses about 2.5 gallons a min so you don’t want to be taking 30 minute showers. If you use all the water guest will be charged 0.30 cents a gallon to come fill the tank.
The kitchen faucet has a drinking water filter and we have a filtered pitcher for drinking water, we recommend grabbing a case of water for your stay.
In the winter months the city plows the roads. We recommend having 4x4 or all wheel drive to get up the steep mountain roads.
While staying at the cabin you are surrounded by some of mother nature’s greatest treasures. Cedar Breaks is 10 min up the road from the cabin. Bryce NP (58 miles) and Zion NP (69 miles) two of the nations most beautiful NP are definitely worth seeing. The north rim of the Grand Canyon NP another must see is little further at 154 miles from Brian head (closed in winter months). Lake Powell NP is 145 miles.

Kids 12 and under ski free.

We had eight people (including 4 kids) staying at the cabin comfortably. Well located to both Navajo and Giant Steps. Although we were not able to use the ski in/out (due to too much snow!) we were only a couple minutes drive to either lifts. The property was well-provisioned and the owner/pm was easy to communicate with. Beautiful views from the deck and hot tub!

Loved this house and would stay again. The place was mostly clean & fully stocked. The owner was gracious and communicative. Note- There is only one shower. The bedrooms listed are misleading. There are 2 King bedrooms with doors. There is 1 Queen bedroom with a door. There is 1 King in an open area/loft. Then there is a very small "bed" in a crawl space with a ladder. Technically it does sleep 10 people if you have 2 in the crawl space. We had one teen sleep on the couch. There is also room in the downstairs bedroom for an air mattress. None of the bedrooms have actual bathrooms inside. Overall the house met our needs. Very compact but homey. The views are good of the mountains and the skier's. The jacuzzi was a nice end to the day.

We went up for Christmas and it was perfect. The cabin was decorated to feel homey and rustic. Everything was in working order and clean. The scenery and snow was everything you could hope for. Would highly recommend for a winter escape!

It was just the two of us staying in the cabin, but the amenities and price were unbeatable. We will definitely be back someday hopefully with our kids. The house had everything we needed, was beautiful, relaxing, and absolutely perfect!
