Agate Bay Cottage was perfect for our needs. It was a comfortable place to stay with 2 queen sized beds in the main bedroom, 2 bathrooms, full-size kitchen and throw blankets to protect furniture from our 6 1/2 month old puppy. We appreciated how clean the entire place was. Friends of ours were staying at Burlington Bay Campgrounds which was a 5 minute drive from our cottage. We met them for day hikes. We plan to return to Agate Bay Cottage for our next Teo Harbors visit.

The location was fantastic! Close to restaurants, train depot, walking trails and the pier. We easily drove up to a few state parks. The home itself was not as clean as we had hoped. It was fine but definitely not the cleanest. Lots of animal fur in many places and the main area smelled like dog when the fan was on. We kept the fan off and it was fine after that. We really appreciated all the pots, pans, coffee machines, toiletry amenities, tissues and the fireplace! The beds & bedding were comfortable, as well as the 3 chairs in the main area. ( I did not sit on the couch at all.) We would consider coming back again during the same time frame because the location is so great.

This is a wonderful home, very clean, everything you need, and overall very comfortable!! It's a great location, midway to everything we wanted to do on the north shore and even over to Wisconsin. We will definitely stay here again if we're planning a trip to the area again. The highlight of the area was a gondola ride at the ski resort, to see the fall colors in Lutsen!! That was AWESOME!

I believe the location is very convenient! Castle Danger brewery, Due North Pizza, Lake Superior, Harbor walk, Depot, art shops, cafes, other bar/restaurants all within walking distance. Two Harbors is a great small town. I took beautiful pictures walking out to harbor light-house area at sunrise.

The location was perfect, clean and fresh! Missed hearing Lake Superior but the location was such you could see it from afar, walk, ride bike or drive to beaches within minutes. Eat before 8:00 & 9:00, nearby places close then. Castle Danger Tap Room was just down the block. Quiet and very safe feel being just off a public parking area. The garage was awesome for car and bikes! We arrived for an unusually hot Labor Day weekend. Temps rose from 80’s to 85, and inside each day became warmer and warmer due to warmer nights with no AC. Thankfully evening’s cool breezes and the ceiling fans helped to make it more comfortable and sleeping was fine.

Place was great! We will be coming back! Great location for a base to come Back to everyday.

Was a great place and will definitely be back! Very clean and had everything we needed! Close to everything we wanted to do. Spent time at Iona Beach, black beach (very crowded) and Gooseberry falls! Very close to things downtown and could walk!

Our family of 3 had a wonderful last minute stay at agate bay cottage. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable and relax. The location was perfect to walk to the beach, breakwater, lighthouse, and of course castle danger brewery to unwind after a long day of adventuring. Bonus: there is a high speed EV charger in the adjacent parking lot for those traveling in an EV. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Great spot for taking my mother who doesn’t do stairs. Everything you could need is provided and is spotless. Walkable to restaurants, brewery and great path along shore to lighthouse and the beach. We loved everything about this place and rate it as one of the best places we have stayed.

We chose this location based on the conversation we had with the property owner. It was a great location for a family with dogs, quiet but very convenient to shops in Two Harbors and walking near Agate Bay. All amenities were available which made the stay very comfortable. We would highly recommend this house and hope to return!

Great place to explore the North Shore or just relax. The house exceeded our expectations. It was well cared for with many extras. We felt welcomed and so did our dog. Two Harbors is a lovely town and we were lucky enough to experience their Heritage Days.

Perfect location, driving North or South. Lots of hiking and exploring. Couple days in Grand Marais, lovely harbor area. Two Harbors, spent a few hours watching ships come and go. Local shopping for the item you can't live without. All in all enjoyed throughly.

We spent 4 nights in this lovely place. The house had enough space to provide each of us some privacy when we needed it, plus an open concept living/dining/kitchen. Definitely dog friendly. We saw several oar boats come and go. Explored and enjoyed the town. We will absolutely be back!

We love the North Shore and ship watching, and bringing our dogs on adventures, so this was a perfect anniversary getaway. Very happy with rental.

My husband and I decided to take our two big dogs on a North Shore excursion. We couldn’t have asked for a better property to meet our needs. The house is set back from the road enough to make the yard a cozy nook for the dogs, they quickly acclimated to their yard space. The home was wonderful!! Two bathrooms and two bedrooms. The beds were comfortable, the walk in closet was a great space, the kitchen had everything you needed and more, with ample counter space. The furnishings and decor are top notch. We love the location and the views of Lake Superior. What a gem of a place!! We were so lucky to stay here. Would love to stay there again in the future.

This is our third stay at Agate Bay. We like the location (close to downtown and the lake) and the property is just the right size for our needs. Always love seeing the local wildlife stride through around sunset/sunrise. Short walk to the lighthouse, great restaurants, and the brewery.

The location and amenities of this home are wonderful. Easy access to everything in Two Harbors and a restful and lovely home for a time to retreat and rest.

Excellent location for visiting up the North Shore, Duluth, and Two Harbors. Castle Danger brewery is 2 blocks away. Up North Pizza is one block away. Very clean and convenient place to stay.

Highly recommend Agate Bay! This house is so spacious, open and filled with light and comfort! Even though our stay was cut short due to the snow storm, we loved our short stay!

House was clean and centralized to many attractions in Two Harbors.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a getaway and this property was excellent! The place felt cozy and homey and had everything you need for an awesome stay - dishes, kitchenware, toiletries, coffee, and a cozy fireplace. Not to mention within walking distance of everything you'd like to do in Two Harbors. There was a slight hiccup with the front door lock not working and the owner was super quick to follow-up, drive over, and resolve the situation. Felt very well taken care off and got great recommendations of winter hikes. Already of thinking of how we can secure regular bookings for winter and summer!

When I was looking for a place in Two Harbors, my family requested a place close to Castle Danger brewery and Do North pizza. This rental is just a block or two from each! It was nice and quiet, clean, up-to-date and well stocked. Close enough for a nice walk to the light house. We'll definitely be back to this spot!

We have stayed here twice . April 2021 and Labor Day weekend 22. So comfortable, clean , well stocked ! Close to everything you need and quiet!
