The house with the game room and outside activities, especially the pool was what everyone liked so .

This was a great home away from home. The house had everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen cabinets were labeled so everything was easy to find. Lots of pool toys. Timely communication. The rooms were on the larger size which helped with our large group.
5.0
The house was great and super well stocked with everything we needed! The only thing I would have changed would have been the gym equipment, it was extremely old and outdated.
The outdoor space was incredible! The pool was huge and the house had tons of outdoor activities for adults and kids.
Beds were comfortable as well which was a bonus!
5.0
We had a lovely stay. The home was large with resort-like grounds that easily accommodated 11 of us. Everyone loved the heated pool and hot tub, and we all had plenty to do since the house was stocked with games and activities. We also found the location convenient for groceries and other conveniences (shopping, restaurants, nail salon, etc.) and loved that it was so close to the SD Wildlife Park.

Our family loved the house, especially the beautiful pool, outside area and all the games. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for a large group. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. Overall, a great experience!

Property was as described on Vrbo. There was 16 of us… 8 adults and 8 grandchildren ranging from ages 8 to 21 years of age. Plenty of room to spread out and each family was able to have their own space. The pool and backyard space was beautiful. We really enjoyed our time out there. Plenty of games and activities to keep the kids occupied. Never heard anyone say they were bored. The kitchen was spacious and easily accommodated everyone that was preparing meals. Loved the walk-in pantry! All in all we were very happy with our visit at this property.

Excellent communication with the host before and during stay was prompt and complete. We were a family party of 11 with 5 children ranging from 8 - 16 and 6 adults. The house was beautiful. The pool and covered hot-tub area allowed everyone to get as much sun and water as they could possibly want. The kitchen was well-stocked with all possibly desired tools and basics so many adults could be cooking simultaneously. The game room was enjoyed by everyone and the high end beauty of the property was the perfect backdrop for the photographer (recommended also by the host at our request) was able to capture the joy of us all. And, the firepit for nighty smores had wood stocked for us. Nothing was wanting -- it was THE BEST!

Extended family enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and indoor and outdoor games. Lots of choices for all age groups. Had a few issues with the hot tub jets and one of the televisions; however, the host was extremely responsive. Beautiful property. The only negative was the 9pm quiet time, as even the senior adults were still a bit noisy past that hour.

Property was great! Lots of stuff for young children both inside and outside of the home. Plenty of room to reposition crying babies. Beds and bedrooms, bathrooms, showers, kitchen, exercise equipment all top notch. Would stay here again.

Overall it was great. We were there in March so it was too cold to use the pool and we didn’t get in the hot tub, for some reason it wasn’t getting very hot, so we didn’t use it. The only other issue was the game room… online it seems great but the shuffle board and pool table were mini sized. We were on a golf trip so we were more worried about having enough bedrooms and bathrooms so it worked out great for us. During the summer time when you can use the pool I bet it would be sweet.

Property was as advertised, kids had a blast in the pool.

We had a lovely stay, the property was exactly as described. The location is great, very wooded and private, and yet only 5 minutes from restaurants and shops.

We loved the property, upon check in my window in my bathroom was open and it was freezing, we choose the time of the year when its the coldest here and the water from the shower does not get very hot but overall it was a great experience, we loved the property. If I ever come back to San Diego I will certainly try hard to book this house again.

We were 5 couples from Minnesota who stayed 4 nights at this beautiful property. The pool and yard were absolutely outstanding! I think we used each and every outdoor amenity. The home itself is also lovely and spacious. Plenty of room for us to be together when we wanted, but also room to spread out when alone-time was desired. There are a lot of "rules", which brings down the enjoyment a notch - but we understand the rules are likely necessary due to prior guests behaviors. Some of the kitchen items were organized strangely, but nothing we couldn't get used to. (Note - there is a regular drip coffee maker in addition to the Keurig listed, which was wonderful for a big group). The kitchen and pantry were stocked with so much - pretty much anything you could need was there! Really the only minor complaint was that most of the games in the game room were in less than great condition. Pool table was not even, shuffleboard table was sticky, fooseball table had a ping pong ball. The video games got a lot of use, though! Also, some of the written instructions were outdated or contradictory (i.e. Should the air conditioning be set to no lower than 70 or 73? Both temps were listed in various places) but nothing a quick text couldn't answer. We would highly recommend this property for any group of friends or family looking for an amazing place to stay - you really don't need to leave the property to have a fabulous vacation!

Everyone loved the pool, especially the kids! Parking was great...the neighborhood was beautiful and safe. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. The bedrooms were large and well appointed with great windows and views in every direction. Eating was a community event at the kitchen and outdoors. Every family member thought it was wonderful! Location was convenient to the zoo, the beach, and shopping.

This house could not have been more perfect for our girls weekend. Tons of room inside, the beds were comfortable but the best part is the backyard. We spent almost all day, every day out there. The pool is kept at 85%, the spa works flawlessly with an app on your phone and it's just gorgeous. Plenty of dishes, towels, chargers. We had zero problems while we were there and would definitely stay there again!

Great Location Love the Pool!
The house, pool, and property were amazing. We had a family reunion here. We loved the space in the home and the amenities. Only two problems that we had with the home. Carpets and some of the furniture were messy and the upstairs bedrooms above the garage were very hot. The AC didn't seem to work up there. Other than that the hot tub and pool were awesome. Check in and Check out were great!

Family getaway at Lundy Lake
This home was as gorgeous in person as it was online. We had nine adults and seven children and there was more than ample space for everyone to retreat for some privacy or downtime when needed. The driveway was big enough to accommodate our family’s four vehicles and still had space for the kids to play basketball. The kitchen was fully stocked with any appliance or gadget you’d need for preparing meals for a large family. Plenty of dishes and silverware. The bedrooms are large and beds comfortable. The security gate worked the first day or so, but after that it kept getting stuck, opened only partially, or just stayed open. The owner responded to this immediately by contacting someone to fix it. We felt very safe in the neighborhood despite the gate not working all the time. Our children (ages 5-13) enjoyed the game room, tv’s, and the giant connect four game. Plenty of outdoor space and furniture in the pool area. We spent a lot of time in the backyard enjoying the pool, hot tub and other amenities. The pool house shower/bathroom was very convenient, although quite slick when wet feet are coming and going. I contacted the owner about this and they were very responsive about ordering anti-slip mats for that space, which was very much appreciated. Overall I would recommend this beautiful vacation home and wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

Wonderful home! Exactly as advertised.
This was a beautiful, spacious home that was perfect for our group of 12 adults. Not only is the house spacious, quality, and clean, but it has tons of well-kept activities available both indoor and outdoor. It was the perfect spot for a Covid-safe hangout. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had and was helpful in doing so. Definitely would recommend this to anyone else considering it -- it was beautiful and lovely stay, 5/5 stars.

Fantastic place, responsive owners
The house was huge and clean and the backyard was everything we hoped for. We had 10 adults and a mess of kids and babies. Check in was contactless and super simple. The owners responded right away when we realized we were short a few items (towels, etc) and we had everything we needed within a couple of hours. We cooked in the kitchen daily, the kids took turns playing pacman, and we all loved the pool and hot tub. The kids are already asking when we can go back. Very happy customer here!

Beautiful home nice location
Beautiful home with room for everyone. Plenty to do in the backyard for relaxing by the pool all day. Would definitely return. Views from the property are stunning.
Cons: oven didnt work, which we were told about on check OUT. So all the food we bought to make.....well.....we had to improvise. Check in was at 3, but were not permitted into the gouse until nearly 4pm due to in not being ready.
Mo answered all our questions promptly and provided us with fire wood all week for the fire pit. Secluded, but within 10 min of grocery store and 30 min to beach and zoo. Good find.

We had 3 families meet up from all over the U.S. to stay at this house. The positives were that there was plenty of room for all 14 of us. The beds were comfortable. The rooms are huge, kitchen is great, outdoor space is awesome. The teens loved the game room. The weather was horrible while we were there, so it was rained daily and the high was 55. It was worth the extra money to heat the pool. The kids loved it. The firepit was used nightly and it was fantastic. Great job on the landscaping.
The cons:
1. The professional grade oven and cooktop:
Larger oven said it was 400 but never got above 250-took forever to slightly warm anything up. We used the smaller oven on the side that worked but there were no pans to fit it. We improvised with tin foil. The griddle on top did not heat up and everything stuck horribly-that was a one and done. The gas burners worked great.
2. Neighbors are literally 20 feet from the house. We never played music outside but got noise complaints 2x. They want you quiet at 7 pm but definitely 9 pm. Just sitting in the Hot tub or talking by the fireplace got us in trouble. Basically, if there are more than 4 of you-it will be too loud. 14 people talking or laughing will get you a complaint.
3. The Hot tub is heated by propane and an App.
Only 1 person can access the App. We had to keep asking my husband to turn on the hot tub and turn the heat up. We would have to wait awhile before it was hot. That was awkward.
4. Laundry room was great but there was NO water at all in the laundry sink.
5. There was only 8 pool towels-14 of us, yet sleeps 22. I would suggest getting more.
6. The showers are either cold or scalding hot. Turn the smaller knob on handle to control it.
7. The worst part that creeped us out was that the owner had a camera on the back deck that would come on constantly as he watched us all in the pool, hot tub, and fire pits. It was like living in the Big Brother House. At night the camera lights up blue. We wondered if he had cameras in the house too. We did not see any.
Overall, we had a great time. We paid ALOT of money to stay in this VRBO. It was not worth what we paid. I would suggest this house be rented by older people or people with babies and young children that go to bed at 8 pm. It suggests outside activities, but they really don't want you out there making any noise.
Host was great at communication and was obviously watching what was going on. It was an interesting experience.

We had a group of four families that rented this home together - comprised of 8 adults and 8 kids (ranging 18 mo - 10 years)! We all came to celebrate a family members wedding in San Diego. We all thought this was a great location because it was a spacious home with enough bedrooms for every families needs and was without neighbors right on top of us...yes they are closer, but with us being a loud family - we didnt have any issues or complaints. It was also within 30 minutes (give or take) to everything we wanted to do in San Diego like Whale watching, Belmont Amusement Park, beaches, La Jolla Cove, Coronado etc. We were very impressed that the pictures matched the home almost exactly. The one thing we were surprised by was that there were Ring cameras. We completely understand the necessity, but we avoided other properties that listed having Ring cameras and thought we had found one without. That being said, we'd still stay here again even despite knowing that :) ! If I had to make a gripe about anything, this would be it: 1. The linens and towels were doused in detergent and it was really pungent. I even brought my own pillow cases, but the scent stayed on pajamas after being awake and soaked through the pillows and smelled like we were just inhaling detergent. I used my own detergent to wash and my clothes came out smelling half tide and half my non-toxic detergent. 2. The backyard fruit to pick from was non-existent (at least when we went in October) and the kids were bummed. That is the only thing we can all think of that was not ideal! Mo was an exceptional communicator and was there when we had some issues that needed immediate tending to. Leading up to the trip, I had MANY questions regarding the two toddlers we would be having stay there and what things were available (high chair etc.) and Mo was very attentive and understanding of my questions. He is easy to get ahold of and even called to help explain the pool / spa heating system that we paid for and were having trouble using correctly! I thought I was going to be nervous about the pool vacuum in the pool the whole time, but I am happy that the kids avoided it and it really wasn't a bother! I could go on and on about this property, but we were very pleased to receive an almost identical product as to what was advertised! If we ever come to San Diego again, we would be happy to stay again!

Excellent Home For Large Families
