Iluka at Hyams Beach - 4pm check out Sundays and Public Holidays, except Summer Season
Stylish, private beach house with great decks and lovely bush setting. This spacious and beautifully presented beach house is set in a lovely rain forest setting and is a short stroll to the iconic white sandy beaches. Iluka comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.

Where will I be?
Iluka is centrally located in Hyams, on Booderee Avenue. The house is set down off the road giving good privacy and a lovely setting - and is just a short stroll to pristine white sandy beaches and the renowned Hyams Beach Cafe. Please keep in mind that Hyams Beach is a residential village, and there are private residents either side of Iluka.
Why choose Illuka?
This four bedroom beach house contains everything a discerning holiday maker would expect! Soaring ceilings and multiple skylights bring in abundant light to a spacious free flowing floor-plan with polished timber floors. The house is very tastefully decorated and a well equipped kitchen with European appliances is supplemented by a large hooded outdoor BBQ. A Smart TV with complimentary Netflix, Binge & Kayo for your viewing needs.
How is the property laid out?
The main, entry level of Iluka has a tastefully decorated lounge and dining area, which opens through double French doors to a huge north facing sun-drenched deck - perfect for alfresco dining and lounging around after a day on the beach. The master bedroom with queen bed, ensuite, walk in robe and balcony with water glimpses is on its own upper level. The three further bedrooms have a queen, double and a twin room with two single beds. On the lower level there is a large laundry & third bathroom. A bar fridge in the laundry is also provided.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. There is also a Smart TV with complimentary Kayo & Prime Video provided for guests or you can login to your own streaming service.
Whilst the NBN service within the village is generally reliable, it is on occasion unreliable - please note that we cannot guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If WiFi is critical to your stay, please have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
A large north facing deck with table and chairs for eight offers great outdoor living space. There is also a fenced garden, two outdoor showers and abundant shady spots to escape the summer heat.
If using the outside decks, please ensure all noise is moderated and taken inside at 10 pm to avoid any issues with neighbours.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Gas heating and electric blankets provide winter warmth.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen and towels are supplied for Iluka. However please bring your own beach towels.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is off-street parking for a maximum of 3 cars. There is no parking on Booderee Ave, however some overflow parking can be found nearby on Moonah Road.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, pets are not permitted at Iluka. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly properties.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Nice stay
Nice property very comfortable. Main downside was TV didn’t work well and no internet. Although given the amazing beach it didn’t matter much.

Simply Amazing!
We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful house. It was comfortable, clean and had everything to make our stay an enjoyable one. Located so close to the beach yet away from the noise makes it an ideal location. Highly recommend this beautiful house. A true little piece of paradise!!

Absolutely loved this house! Did get quite warm at night with no air con, could use some fans, but otherwise could not fault it!
