Kleines, sehr warmes Zimmer ohne Stauraum.

Lage am See. Schönes, altes Haus mit Terrasse.

Zimmer sehr klein, keine Ablagefläche, kein Schrank, ein kleines Fenster, Hitzestau im Sommer. Zimmer / Bett wurde tagsüber nicht frisch gemacht.

Nice and friendly house at the lake

The style, the guest house itself because it’s a very nice old house, and the location (close to the lake and not far from the train station).

I have booked a single room, and it was really really small. It is on the top floor, an there is no elevator. I was missing the mosquito net and it was too warm in the room (in Oct.).

Herrlich, sauber, freundlich, bequeme Betten, das nachtessen ein chinesischer Traum. Wir hatten Zimmer 1, sehr gross, grosses Bad wir fühlten uns sofort wohl und wie zu Hause. Der Inhaber und alle Mitarbeiter wahren diskret und sehr freundlich.. danke gerne wieder

Wer die Stassse scheut, nimmt ein Zimmer hinten raus..

We really enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again at a cooler time of year.

The location on the lakeside is very scenic. The food is excellent Asian cuisine with a wide choice. The staff are very friendly, particularly the manager who checked us in and served a delicious continental breakfast.

The bed was comfortable but the pillows ought to be replaced with more comfortable ones. In a period of hot weather there was no air conditioning or breeze coming in, so we were too hot at night. We suggest that some wall-mounted aircon could be installed.

Nice enough, but expensive and with cold service.

It is right on the road and was easy to reach. The TINY room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was nice.

The staff, including the owner, are cold, relatively unhelpful, very busy, understaffed, and couldn't be bothered to smile...except for the girl who showed me to my room. She was the only human and sweet one of the whole bunch. The room was pitched to me as an "economy room" (meaning TINY) which is fine...but the price was not an "economy price"! It is just near a church and the bells were LOUD at 6AM. No breakfast included in the high room rate. The restaurant looked good, and was busy, was really overpriced (5-ish USD for a bowl of white rice) and I didn't eat there.

Peaceful, Tranquil and memorable stay

Beautiful, tranquil and peaceful location. Enjoyed hearing church bell chime every morning. Thank you Kesang for your hospitality and help to resolve the wifi problems.

The only thing that could be improved is that I had problems with the wifi, could have been either my laptop or the location of room with router.

We had dinner in the restaurant inside the hotel. It was expensive but worth it. Beautiful Asian dishes professionally presented with flavors to match. It was as much of an experience as it was a great dinner that came with exceptional hospitality.

Peaceful escape

Literally everything about our stay there was perfect: the prices are high but it's Switzerland after all and you definitely get value for your money. The owner is incredibly helpful and speaks a plethora of languages fluently, he was always at hand for recommendations and advice. The hotel is beautifully preserved with care, keeping the wood and essence of its longevity while also catering to new and luxury updates. The restaurant served some of the best food we've ever tasted. Romantic, calm and delicious stay overall.

Nice old house with basic rooms. Make sure to check if you have lake view to really make the most out of your stay. Restaurant in the hotel was very good.

A wonderful stay, hotel and manager! I will never forget my three nights there!! Thanks Kesang!

The location is absolutely to die for! The view of the lake and mountains are simply incredible! I went for a swim every morning which was amazing. It's a 1 minute walk from the property. The manager Kesang is such a wonderful guy! He's super friendly, super professional and simply cannot do enough for you. I had a disaster as I forgot my plug adaptor and he lent me one. He also helped me work out bus and train times and told me all about the history of the house and owner etc. A lovely man and he makes it what it is! Thanks Kesang!

I struggled a little with the Church Bells ringing throughout the night but Kesang very kindly moved me to a room on the other side of the hotel.

I had friends of mine coming so i booked 2 nights for them in the guest house. They were supposed to come in the evening so i went to pay the hotel at noon. The staff was very friendly but they did not know how to take the payment. I asked if it is possible that i pay in the next morning then because i didnt want them to pay since they are my guests. They said ok,but in the evening i received a call that they will not check them in if they dont pay immediately,because the owner called and said that. This resulted in very uncomfortable moment for my guests. Very unprofessional.

Exceptional

The hotel is located on a beautiful location at the lake, with the possibility to take a swim. The restaurant offers a very good Asian cuisine which is highly recommended to try. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We also drove up hill to watch the view over the lake, which was really beautiful. Overall, highly recommended to book this hotel either for a holiday or for a layover when travelling tot Italy or so.
