Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
**Sea Colony will have ongoing construction from September through May. There will be construction noise that may be heard in the surrounding homes. Please be aware that this may be loud at times.
The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per person resort fee for guests ages 4 and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory.

This apartment had beautiful balcony and beautiful views! The location was perfect to get to the pool and the beach. We loved that their was a nice big table to share meals at and adequate space to all sit on the couches in the living room. We reached out to the owner and to vacasa and they were both very responsive and professional in completing our requests.
The apartment was nice but needs some improvements with its appliances. We had to get a new water heater halfway through the trip which was completed however for the amount of money we were paying it should have never been a problem. The toilets broke often and although we were able to fix them ourselves, that also should not have been an issue. Also, the air conditioning in two of the bedrooms was almost non existent while the rest of the apartment was freezing. The same thing for the wifi, it worked well in the living room but not so great in the bedrooms.
In addition, the apartment was not cleaned adequality. There was mold in the shower, Incorrect sizing of sheets, the garbage can was filthy, we found an old muffin on the floor collecting mold in one of the bedrooms and another room had underwear in one of the drawers. There was also no recycling in the garbage room. The bathroom towels were small and flimsy. While both the owner of the unit and vacasa tried to remedy these issues, they never should have been issues at the price point of this unit.
Also, the beds specifically the two twin beds were extremely uncomfortable. The owner did say she would look into purchasing new beds. However, the last thing you need is to be uncomfortable your whole vacation and have your back go out.
In addition, it would have been nice for the apartment to be stalked with some beach supplies like beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, etc. This apartment needs a serious spring cleaning. The closets were full of miscellaneous items. For example there were four vacuums in the apartment but not one broom and dust pan.
Just a tip to bring everything you think you will need. toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, a kitchen towel, all beach supplies and beach towels. The kitchen was well stalked with cooking and baking supplies but that was about it.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but for the price point it felt like we were giving up a lot and making a lot of excuses for a vacation that was truly very expensive.

The owner provided a lot of pots, pans, baking items, spices. There were books, children's books, movies, a lot of games, beach items. The owner really tried to provide items that they would want to have if they were renting the unit. The beds were comfortable. We had issues with some of the appliances which they had to order parts for so we were unable to use them. Great view of the ocean.

We really enjoyed this home. Had everything for our family. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony, kitchen was clean and had all the appliances and dishes we needed. Plus, it had seasonings and oil and things for our spaghetti night. There were extra towels, blankets, and even games for the day that it rained and we weren’t able to do much. The home is and easy walk to one of the indoor pools and also to the beautiful beach. We visited during spring break, so it wasn’t overly warm, but the kids still got to play on the beach one day. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. They made check in and checkout so easy and seamless, without a bunch of ridiculous rules. Also, I thought it was pretty cool that right at 10 AM as we were walking down the hall to leave for home, the cleaning woman was there ready to prep the home for the next guests. It was like a well oiled machine. We never had to reach out to the home management team because everything was listed and provided so seamlessly that all questions were answered before we could even ask. We really enjoyed our stay

Just got back from our vacay here at 601- awesome spot, very clean and was a great time. We kept losing hot water- Vacasa came out twice but issue still kept ongoing. Needed to flip breaker multiple times a day if the washer was running or multiple showers were going at same time. That part got frustrating. Mentioned all this to Vacasa so hopefully the issue gets fixed for future stays. But overall I would give a 4/5!

Beautiful space, perfect for our extended family. We did encounter a few minor issues. The owner provided a Swiffer dry mop for cleaning which was not great for cleaning up sandy floors after active preschoolers came from the beach. Really need a broom or some type of a stick vacuum. Also there were a few pillows without cases-I found what appeared to be cleaned laundry wrapped in plastic at the bottom of one of the bedroom closets on the last day. I left them out for the cleaning crew. Lastly when I was in that closet-the door came off the track. I reported this Friday afternoon before our Saturday checkout. It’s one of the closets in the bedroom with two twin beds. Other wise this is a wonderful space and great location with easy access to both beach and pool.

This unit has a stunning view, very clean and well stocked kitchen. About half of the time it sounded like there was a wind storm outside of the door but it wasn’t windy. Thank you for a fun stay!

This was our first visit to Bethany Beach and Sea Colony. The location was great - close to the pool and beach, and walking distance to several restaurants. The unit was in good condition and well equipped. It has a great view of the pool and ocean. We enjoyed our week there very much.

It’s the little things
We’ve stayed in multiple Sea Colony condos, and what sets 601 Farragut apart are the little things. The plates, mugs, knives, cookware, utensils, etc. are just a little nicer than we’ve gotten accustomed to, and it makes a big difference in the experience. We would definitely recommend this unit!

We've been to Sea Colony many times. 601 is one of the best. Nice comfy "like home" feel to this unit. Great balcony view, nicely stocked kitchen, nicely updated appliances and electronics, comfortable living furniture. Only item we would ask to improve was the king bed mattress. It was on the firm side and we're just used to a high end pillow top style. Consider putting a pillow top slip-on in the closet for guests who prefer a softer feel. Otherwise... perfect! The owners of 601 Farragut obviously take pride in their property. Right inside the door are framed vintage postcards of Bethany Beach which give an indication of their attention to detail. All rooms are tastefully decorated and everything in working order. No issues with any kitchen or bath fixtures. Upscale appliances. The kitchen was very well stocked…we’ve never rented a condo or house with more dishes, flatware, cookware, utensils and baking items. We always bring a box of baking pans and accessories – we didn’t unpack our box because everything we needed was already there!
The owners are very focused on the comfort of the renters. Great selection of games, books, videos etc. Comfortable bed linens, ample supply of towels. They thought of everything a family would need for a relaxing vacation.
