When renting the property you get the first floor and basement of an older home that was restored in 2020. It was very quiet and comfortable! Cute decorations and easy check in. We would not change a thing!

The apartment is even nicer than the pictures. We especially enjoyed the shower/large bathroom and TV room. It’s in a great location, we walked to the museum and downtown.

The property was a very short walk to the Corning museum. From there you could take a shuttle to the historic section/Market Street. It was a short drive to Watkins Glen. The property itself was clean and bright. The bed was comfortable and the linens/ towels were in great condition. We were able to enjoy the backyard and the off street parking was an added perk. The host was responsive and checked in a few times during our 3 night stay to ensure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

We were a group of 4 people. All of us felt comfortable and loved the cleanliness of the unit. The size is just enough for 4 people. The kitchen is adequately furnished and Don had stocked it up with basic supplies. The bathroom was clean. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The host was great and stayed in touch throughout.

We came to see the Museums, and LOVED how close we were to everything. The house is beautiful, and the kids loved the built in bunkbed in one of the bedrooms. It was super easy to check in and the owner is super responsive with any questions you might have.

Cannot say enough good things about this charming apartment! Very comfortable for our family of 4. Comfy beds, comfy living room. Well-equipped kitchen. Squeaky clean bathroom. Best of all, though, it is a quick walk to the Corning Museum of Glass, where we spent an amazing day. And if it hadn’t been raining for our entire vacation, we would have loved to walk over the pedestrian bridge to town for dinner / shopping. We visited in December (plus, that never ending rain!), so did not take advantage of the lovely porch or backyard, but can see how that would be great fun.

Without a doubt the quietest setting we have ever rented in! We never heard a peep from any neighbors. Don's beds and linens are so comfy. Convenient drive to downtown and Watkins Glen. Best Burgers EVER at Mooney's. We cannot wait to return!

Our host was 5 stars. Felt very safe and secure. Comfy beds and crisp linens.
Loved the quirky-ness of the older home. I grew up in one and it felt very homey. But the quirky raised tub that hat to be stepped out of was scary. A bar was installed but the step down was still awkward.

This beautiful 2-bedroom apartment on the first floor of a cute victorian house was perfect for my husband and my sister and brother in law's stay. Plenty of sitting area in the living room to play cards, fully stocked kitchen and soft fluffy towels. Perfectly located a short walk from the Corning Glass Musuem. Highly recommend.

So much better than a cramped hotel. Gives you space to spread out but still feels cozy and intimate. The decor is modern but comfortable. The bedding was so nice I would like to buy it for my own home. Beds were very comfortable. There is a cute back yard with a fire pit. We easily walked to cute downtown market street and to the wine glass marathon finish. Also to the grocery.
Would love to stay here again.

This property was very clean. Although we did not cook during our stay all appliances were new and very clean. We did use the washer /dryer for one small load and both operated well. We walked to the Corning Museum of Glass - an easy short walk but opted to drive into Corning's Gaffer District for dinner. Parking in town was free and ample in the evening (mid-week mid-September). Don responded quickly to any questions I had.

We stayed here as a long weekend in the Finger Lakes area, and really enjoyed our visit. The property was very clean, and the sheets were very soft. Don was incredibly helpful and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. Very convenient location. We were only about a half hour from Watkins Glen and could walk to the Museum of Glass. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Corning getaway
Thoroughly enjoyed the Corning stay. Our two nights there were a tiny portion of a long driving excursion, so we are only just now returning home to settle in and catch up on things. Very convenient and livable. Nicely appointed.
