Holiday home on the outskirts of Alpandeire, in the province of Malaga, Andalucia.
This detached holiday home offers your family the possibility of spending some relaxing holidays, as it can accommodate up to five people. Its private pool, together with the Balinese bed, will become the perfect place for disconnecting and soaking up the quiet atmosphere of its 2-hectare plot with holm oaks and carob trees.
Inside, the house is rustic and welcoming. Out of the three bedrooms, two are equipped with one double bed, and one features three single beds. The living space welcomes a dining-living room with a fully equipped kitchenette. A bathroom with a shower completes the layout of the house.
The living room is provided with warm/cool air-con.
The living room opens onto the outdoor area, where a pergola with a summer kitchen and a BBQ is located. In front of it, the private pool ideal for refreshing, near which a shaded chill-out space lets the whole family gather and enjoy the ambience. Surrounding the pool, there are several parasols, sun loungers and the marvellous Balinese bed. Children can also enjoy the playground area and the ping-pong table.
The access to the house, which is also provided with a private parking lot, is possible via a 600-mt unpaved lane. Next to the private car park, there is a socket for charging electric or hybrid cars. The owner does not charge extra for this service.

wat een heerlijk huis! heel prive, grote tuin met veel plek om lekker te zitten en voor de kinderen (10 en 7) om zich te vermaken. dorpje dichtbij is mooi en rustig, met een heerlijk restaurant (casa grande). ronda op goede reisafstand. de eigenaar is erg sympathiek en behulpzaam. niet twijfelen, gewoon boeken!

We had amazing few days in Santiago's country house. The children loved the basketball hoop behind the house and we all enjoyed walks around the property, climbing up to the very own cave, exploring the land. The views from the top of the hill are just breathtaking. The house itself is very well equipped, Santiago thought of everything - shower gel, shampoo, washing machine and dishwasher’s tablets, hand wash. There is even a dolce gusto coffee machine with a few pods to get you started. We all slept well and thoroughly enjoyed the outside area, you literally do not have to go anywhere, there is so much to do, like table tennis, many places to chill out like two different hammocks, swings for children, bed by the pool or just sitting on any of the many seats Santiago built into the garden around the property. Everywhere you look there is something to see and explore. Little house for the children to play in, using a bike or a scooter, all on the property. The outdoor kitchen is a very nice touch and it is evident how much time and effort Santiago puts into making the property a pleasure to stay in! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone, especially with children, looking for a relaxing holiday and looking for a private place. The house is easy to find and the drive is not difficult at all. The weather was not warm enough to fully enjoy the pool (only had a few short dips), but we have really loved our stay in this incredible place!

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans la Villa de Santiago.
Santiago a une magnifique maison qu'il entretien avec amour, il est très accueillant avec ses invités et est très disponible.
La Maison est située au milieu de la nature, elle est bien équipée, très bien entretenue et propre, rien ne manque.
L'espace extérieur est fabuleux avec tout le confort et une décoration exceptionnelle, on s'est régalé avec ses bons légumes, fruits et aromates Bio sans oublier sa petite forêt privée, magnifique a visiter.
La piscine est très propre et si bien entretenue qu'on ne sent pas le chlore juste ce qu'il faut.
La maison est située à côté d'un très beau village Alpandeire, il y a une petite boulangerie cafétéria et je vous conseille le restaurant El tapeo, merci David pour tes bons plats et tes pizzas faites maison délicieuses.

van 3 t/m 17 september hadden we het huis van Santiago tot onze beschikking.
Gelijk bij aankomt werden we overvallen door de ruimte en de rust van het huis en de omgeving.
Overdag was het heerlijk warm dus een duik in het zwembad was een heerlijke verkoeling, en later in de avond kwam de koele lucht over de bergtoppen waardoor het slapen op de goede bedden geen straf was.
Het huisje was knus en van alle gemakken voorzien, zeker de buitenkeuken is een pre omdat in de periode dat wij er waren het ook in de avond nog lang warm was waardoor de buitenkeuken een uitkomst was.
Santiago (de eigenaar) komt om de 3/4 dagen even langs om zijn tuin te onderhouden en een bezem door het zwembad te halen om het te reinigen. Vooraf even een WhatsApp berichtje ter afstemming en communicatie waardoor er geen onverwachte situaties ontstonden.
Ondanks dat Santiago gebrekkig Engels spreekt is hij (in combinatie met zijn vriend Google translate) goed te begrijpen.
Mede op aanraden van Santiago hebben we een paar mooie plekjes in de omgeving gezien. Het mooie plaatsje Zahara de la Sierra maar ook de route van Zahara de la Sierra naar Grazalema bevat prachtige natuurschoon.
Verder verraste Santiago ons met zijn komkommers en groene puntpaprika uit eigen tuin.
Onbespoten en vol van smaak.
Alles bij elkaar, de prachtige locatie als wel de centrale ligging t.o.v. Cadiz, Sevilla, Cordoba, Malaga, Marbella en natuurlijk Ronda waren het twee weken die mede door de ligging van het huis en het prive zwembad om zijn gevlogen.

Santiago (de eigenaar) is zeer enthousiast, vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Hij kan zich prima redden in het Engels, met dank aan Google translate en de "apen van de rots van Gibraltar", waar hij volgens eigen zeggen zijn Engels van heeft geleerd.
Het huisje heeft alle benodigde luxe, m.u.v. Nederlandstalige TV kanalen en een vaatwasser.
Dat zijn echter 2 zaken die wij in de vakantie uitstekend kunnen missen.
WiFi/Internet werkt goed, de bedden liggen prima (3x 1-persoons, 2x twijfelaar 1m35).
De ruime tuin heeft veel terrasjes, schaduwplekken, een ruim zwembad en is geheel omheind.
Een flink stuk land er omheen hoort ook bij het huis en is ook omheind en is een prima speelplek voor kinderen; het is groot genoeg voor een kort avondwandelingetje en er is zelfs een grot.
Het huisje biedt veel privacy en ligt lekker rustig.
Alpandeire is een prima uitvalplaats voor wandelingen en onze favoriete sport: via ferrata's klimmen (stuk of 10 in de buurt varierend van A tot C/D).
Vergeet vooral niet om Juzcar te bezoeken (zeker met jonge kinderen niet)!

We enjoyed swimming in the pool durimg bthe hottest days and we felt very confortable in the house, since it resulted perfect for the number of guests.
The place is brilliant for a nice and relaxing holiday, but from there we could also explore this beautiful area. We went to visit Ronda, it is a great place, very interesting and authentic with a lot of things to do around the town. The twenty minute journey from Ronda to Alpandeire has also a beautiful views.
We went with the family and children: the house is set up great for kids, and they loved our stay a lot.
Santiago is the perfect host, lovely, kind and helpful. He was always happy to help us when we need it and he gave us also many advices about what to see and what to do in the area. It was a great privilege to taste the organic vegetables from the house gardens, they were delicious.
We would highly recommend this holidays home.

La casa es perfecta para desconectar y descansar. Muy limpia y totalmente equipada. Pasé unos dias en pareja, pero es perfecta para ir con niños. El entorno es fantástico, rodeado de sierra y con unas vistas espectaculares. Santiago es muy atento y ofrece total disponibilidad por si surge algún problema o tienes alguna duda. Volvería a repetir sin duda!

Nous avons enfin pu prendre du repos en famille et c'est peu dire que nous en avions vraiment besoin après cette année particulièrement difficile.
La montagne, l'air pur, les paysages magnifiques, cette maison si charmante, rien de tel pour refaire le plein d'énergie.
C'était vraiment très gentil de votre part de nous en faire profiter.
Grâce à vous, nous avons passé un été inoubliable, les enfants ont adoré les differentes activités ( ping-pong, vélo, balancoire, mini golf...)
Merci Santiago pour votre accueil chaleureux et vos bons conseils.

PS: comme c'est une maison qui peut acceuillir des familles avec des enfants en bas âge, faudrait peut etre prévoir un lit pour bébé et de la vaiselle pour enfants ( assiette et verre en plastique)

Hola buenas decir que es una casa espectacular es un sitio muy tranquilo para descansar y muy amplio nosotros es la segunda vez que hemos estado y lo hemos pasado genial tiene un huerto ecológico donde todo estaba buenisimo y los niños lo han pasado en grande porque tienen una zona habilitada para ellos una piscina para nosotros solos donde hemos estado muy agusto y la casa en general era muy bonita con su barbacoa y todo y el trato que nos ha dado santiago a sido muy buena muy atento con todo gracias y si podemos seguro que volveremos saludos.

Instalaciones muy preparadas y limpias... por ejemplo vas a hacer una barbacoa y te encuentras todo lo necesario para ello, pinzas para la carne, tenazas para el carbón, etc.
La limpieza de toda la casa ... impecable.
La casa esta muy bien acondicionada con todo lo necesario, utensilios de todo tipo en la cocina y hasta lavadora con detergente y suavizante, lavavajillas, cafetera eléctrica, etc.
El entorno de la casa es estupendo para los niños, caminamos por un pequeño sendero dentro de la propia finca y el cual es precioso... ¡¡¡ hasta con cueva ¡¡¡.
La piscina es una maravilla, limpia como la de un hotel de 5 estrellas.
En definitiva, la casa y sus instalaciones, su entorno, el pueblo de Alpandeire... y las vistas al valle del Genal fueron toda una experiencia.
Desde la casa hicimos dos excursiones, una a Juzcar (pueblo pitufo) y otra a Ronda.
Ronda se encuentra a tan solo unos 20 minutos de la casa en coche, unos 16 Km.
Toda una experiencia y muy recomendable para familias con niños/as.

We loved our three-week stay at this beautiful Villa. Although we have holidayed in Spain several times, this was our first holiday - and first visit - in the Ronda area, and we had a great time.
We were looking for a tranquil, relaxing country house with pool, privacy, and views, and this house provided all of this and more....
The house is just a short 300m walk from the village of Alpandeire, and has a great pool, wi-fi, fruit and vegetables orchard, very good inside and outside kitchens, and all the necessary resources and facilities for a relaxing, happy stay. Although close enough to walk to the village, the house and gardens are not overlooked at all, and offers great peace and privacy.
Owner Santiago visits every 2-3 days to clean the pool, water the fruit and vegetable garden, and generally maintain the external area of the house and grounds, and is otherwise available via email or phone for any questions or potential difficulties. Santiago speaks some English, and we felt very able to converse using some English, a few basic Spanish words, and Santiago's phone app translator. I greatly enjoyed speaking with Santiago, and he is very willing to help and assist in any and every way. Santiago was born about 25km from Alpandeire, and knows 'everything' about the local area through his personal and working experiences. He is very willing to advise on anything about the countryside around the house, or the Ronda area, or the wider province. He can advise on places to visit, restaurants, etc...
Santiago positively encourages guests to pick and eat the vegetables, herbs and fruits that grow in the gardens, including cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, onions, tomatoes, raspberries, lemons, limes, mint, etc etc...
The local village - Alpandeire - has a bakery, a small general shop, and 2-3 bars. Many of the local villages are similar to Alpandeire, and all look beautiful in the mountainous environment. Most of the local villages have at least a couple of bars / restaurants, and the blue-washed 'Smurf' village of Juzcar is just 6km away. The larger town of Ronda is about 20km away, and this is where we shopped in supermarkets. Ronda is also a beautiful, historic town to visit for it's history, culture and amazing scenery.
Although we ourselves spent most of our time relaxing by the pool, or walking or running in the local hills, or driving to the surrounding villages / Ronda, the coast and cities like Granada, Malaga, and Sevilla are not

The owner Santiago has been a good and very friendly host! He gave us useful tips and advices to visit the beautiful city of Ronda.
Everything in the house was clean and neatly. We also could taste vegetables and products from the garden and they were absolutely delicious.
We had the opportunity to visit a lot of places of the region and we tryed lots of typical restaurants another museum.
We absolutely recommend this location to spend holidays!

The place is perfect to stay, it is located just outside of the village of Alpandeire and just 25 minutes from the beautiful city of Ronda if you want do go for a trip.
Everything was fine, the house was very clean, and our children loved the place since there are many differents little spots to play and toys.
Santiago has been very welcoming and also an amazing guide, he suggested us many amazing places and activities for our stay.
We enjoyed our time outdoor, swimming in the pool and spending time in the garden, which gave us fresh fruits and vegetables.
Absolutely recommended, we will come back again!

De buitenruimte rond het huis is fijn met allerlei plekjes in de zon of in de schaduw en met zwembad. Er zijn geen buren behoudens landerijen met schuurtjes. Voor kleine kinderen is het een speelparadijs, waarbij zelf van de grote rotsheuvel om het woonterrein heen gebruik kan worden gemaakt. De livingroom is klein en eenvoudig met slechts een bank en een eettafel + aanrecht. De eigenaar Santiago komt elke twee à drie dagen om het zwembad schoon te maken en zijn moestuin te verzorgen. Hij is zeer hulpvaardig. De korte, half verharde weg ligt dichtbij het dorp Alpandeire (20 min. rijden van Ronda). Het dorp heeft een zeer klein winkeltje en twee restaurants/hotel die alleen in het hoogseizoen vaker open zijn. Vooral de stilte en de afzondering hebben wij zeer gewaardeerd. Er zijn direct vanaf de woning slechts een paar wandelroutes (GR) beschikbaar.

De zeer sympatieke eigenaar Santiago komt af en toe de planten water geven, maar geeft ook zeer nuttige tips over te ondernemen dingen, avontuurlijke wandelingen, bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. Het zwembad is fantastisch. Het huisje is eenvoudig en niet heel groot, maar alles zit erop en eraan. We konden ter plaatse gelukkig nog een paar dagen bijboeken! We komen snel een keertje terug.

We loved our stay at this beautiful house. The pool is a great size and the house was perfect for the four for us but it could easily host a larger family. Set in its own grounds it's brilliant for a nice relaxing holiday. Ronda is a great place, loads to see and do in & around the town. The house is set up great for kids, loads of lovely touches to make it a special place and lots to explore in the grounds. The twenty minute journey from Ronda to Alpandeire has some fantastic views.
Santiago is the perfect host - a lovely guy. Always happy to help if required and he went as far as tour guiding us around the area a couple of times. It was a great privilege to be able to help ourselves to the organic vegetables from the house gardens.
Great value for money, we would highly recommend this quirky house.

Our holiday was a success and this was partly due to the fantastic house with a pool and lots of privacy. But also by Santiago: a good and very friendly host who gave us valuable tips and leaded us through Ronda as a guide to attractions.
He and his wife made sure that everything in the house, the terrain and the pool is very neatly and clean. And you can freely eat vegetables from the garden (huerta).

La Casa Grande in Alpandeire: not super cheap, but delicious and refined. And…. at walking distance.
Bodega San Francisco in Ronda (just outside the ancient city gate: good food, low prices, nice spot. Sometimes all tables are occupied.
Restaurante Las Banderas roadside Ronda - Benoajan, 2 km before Benoajan: authentic family company, good food, low prices, friendly service The best sangria ever !! Handwritten bill by 'papa'.

Granada Alhambra: Worth it! We had not booked in advance and therefore had no access to Palacios Nazaries, but that is only 5% of the whole. The tickets will then cost half the price of full access…
Ronda: lots to see. Some museums are free one day a week open, but the next week may again another day or another museum. Ask at reception of the museum worthwhile.
Very nice is a guided tour through Santiago. Price included! Only give him a Coke after the walk.
Setenil de las Bodegas: here the houses are built under and in the rocks. Park the car outside the city center, the streets are very narrow!
Sevilla: old center with many attractions. Park your car outside the city, with the Metro you step out right in the center. Ask Santiago details about parking.
Cádiz: beautiful coastal town, nice parks with tropical vegetation.
Gibraltar: a ‘must seen’. Park your car still in Spain, near the McD. Go walking across the border (don’t forget your passport!!) and take the regular bus to the center for a few euro’s. That’s the simplest and cheapest way. For a total package including cable car and museums you have to pay ten times more. Bus stands about 100 m. behind the border-office.

Mis hijos se lo pasaron en grande con el columpio, las bicicletas, la piscina, mesa de ping - pong, etc. No tienes que estar pendiente de ellos porque tienen una gran zona para jugar. La limpieza de la casa fenomenal al igual que la piscina y el entorno. Santiago pone un huerto ecológico del cual ofrece productos a sus huéspedes. La relación calidad - precio es inmejorable ya que te hacen un presupuesto personalizado según las personas que vallan. !!! PARA REPETIR !!!
