We enjoyed our time in the house, it was so cute and cozy. The location was excellent and in a nice quiet neighborhood.

We hosted a small Bachelorette Party for my daughter. The property was perfect! From booking to check in to check out. Easy peasy! We soaked in the stock tank pool for hours! Lounged on the deck. Laughed and played games. We shopped till we dropped. We made memories to last a lifetime! Short drive to Main St. A few blocks from HEB. I wholeheartedly suggest you book this party! You will not regret it!

We enjoyed our stay at Josie’s Farmhaus! The home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. The children enjoyed the “pool”. The beds were very comfortable. The decor was cute and many thoughtful extra touches were included. Dakota was amazing at answering questions and facilitating check-in

We enjoyed our stay and loved the property but we ran into a problem the last night we stayed. One of my family members that was staying with us was in the bathroom on the main floor on the last night around midnight and saw a man’s face pressed against the window watching her. Obviously we immediately called the cops in fear of the lurker and was extremely freaked out and anxious. The cops came and searched the house and cleared us but did mention that they had a few local creeps they were monitoring. They made us feel slightly more safe but it was not a great end to the weekend, all of us up all night worried and thinking about how many times we have changed in front of windows or had doors unlocked/ windows not shut while we hang out throughout the night. In no fault the owner of the house, it was an overall very anxious night and made all of us feel extremely unsafe since it was 8 women all alone. My suggestion is to put up blinds and curtains to cover windows and have a more secure home. We understand the owner could not prevent this but we highly highly suggest windows and blinds on the windows who do not have any. It will prevent things and incidents like this to make your guests feel safer.

Beautifully updated old home with so much Fredericksburg charm and original details retained. A perfect spot for a group of mom friends to make dinner together and enjoy the backyard. The beds and bedding were so cozy. Host was quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend.

I've stayed at quite a few vacation rentals and this one was by far one of the best. Everything was well thought out and the property was even more beautiful in person. There is plenty of space for a group and it was close to downtown. The owners paid attention to every detail during their renovation and make their guests feel welcome. We had the best time and can't wait to go back!

Eight girls stayed in this cute house. There was plenty of room and we all commented on how cute the house was. The “pool” was actually more enjoyable than expected. Perfect height to sit around, drink and chat.

Great place
Perfect for 2 families with teens-space to spread out outside and the hot tub was awesome. Convenient location to H-E-B since we forgot half of our Thanksgiving supplies😂. Nice personal touches and you can tell it’s well taken care of!

The property was so quaint and cozy! We stayed with our extended family for 3 nights and it was absolutely perfect. The showers and beds were excellent and then kitchen allowed us to cook in when we wanted. Due to the time of year we didn't take full advantage of the hot tub because of mosquitoes but the kids still enjoyed trying it and I think in a different time of the year it would be great! We were surprised one day by 3 deer wandering through the back yard as we drove up. Such a fun place to stay!

Tastefully Updated Cottage House
Tastefully updated cottage that's over 100 years old! Great place for a base of operations especially for Main St. It's less than 2 miles to main street and only 6-8 minutes to anything to do. Owner was great and responded quickly to all of our questions. Next time we're in town, we'll look here 1st.

Cuteness overload
We loved the decor, and the beds and linens were top notch. Lots of attention to detail throughout the house. Quiet and peaceful setting, great location, very comfortable, and a large television were all reasons to rent this again if we’re in Fredericksburg. The deck and hot tub were also a great way to relax after a long day of shopping!

First family vacation since pre covid
Great location and adorable house! Looks like Joanna Gaines decorated it! The house is just a few minutes away from everything (by car) and yet in a quiet neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the deer from the deck. Having a washing machine and dryer was handy too. We also used the hot tub. That deck is the best! Such a great house! The only thing I would remind future guests is there is not a common bathroom. The 2 bathrooms are accessed through bedrooms. For us, no problem as we were all family, but if you’re staying with another family you might not feel comfortable going through their bedroom to access a bathroom. This was not a concern for us and definitely would not keep us from renting again. We absolutely loved this house! Hosts were great and kept in contact with his too.

Great house. Did a quick wine tour and used Brook's Bubbles Bus limo. That was a big hit.

Gorgeous 5-Star Home
We took our daughter to Fredricksburg for her 21st birthday and rented Josie’s Farmhouse. It was PERFECT! The house has been beautifully renovated with plenty of original charm. We’ve never stayed in a home that was so clean. They have thought of everything you could need during your stay. The beds and bedding are luxurious. The bedrooms are big and spread out throughout the house. The bathrooms have huge showers and lovely little shampoos, conditioners, and body washes. They even left makeup remover wipes for us. The backyard entertaining area was exactly what we wanted. It backs up to a creek where we watched about 15 deer run through the trees. The large hot tub is wonderful. The lights hanging in the trees makes such an inviting ambience. They even left soft blankets to take outside to bundle up in. We will most definitely stay here again the next time we are in Fredricksburg. Thank you for such a wonderful trip!

Girls Trip
Seven of us stayed at Josie’s Farmhaus and it was absolutely perfect. Check-in was simple and we found the house to not only be adorable—and exactly like the photos—but it also had everything we needed as well as a few personal touches (black makeup wash cloths as well as Neutrogena make up wipes in each bathroom? Normally there’s just a sign saying don’t use white wash cloths to remove makeup or you’ll be charged. This was an awesome touch.) that made our stay even more enjoyable. The beds were comfortable and you could have a party in the downstairs shower—and that bathroom looks like Joanna Gaines decorated it herself (barn door shower door?!). The hot tub/deck area is amazing! There is an H-E-B at the end of the street for easy grocery pick up and being just a few blocks from Main Street restaurants/shops/wine tasting rooms was just fabulous for our group of girls over 40. Thank you, Dakota, for making our first trip to Fredericksburg a wonderful one! We will definitely book here the next time we are in town.

Amazing place and hosts!
Came down for wine tasting and this place was accommodating from the start with their cancelation policy as we planned months in advance. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the cute decor and clean house. The hosts were super responsive to quick, simple questions. This place is a great retreat to rest and relax in while you spend a weekend exploring Fredricksburg!
