Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was amazing and there was more than enough space. The location to the beach was fantastic. The location to grocery and many other shops and stores was very close (walkable). We would stay there again for sure. Highly recommend!

The property was great for my family to enjoy
The home amenities are fantastic and the walkway to the beach is the absolute best
My family thoroughly enjoyed eating meals together in the gorgeous top floor
We will definitely return and stay here! We had a couple of issues when we first arrived but Vacasa was prompt in getting out service requests completed

If you are looking for a great house and a great location this is for sure where you want to stay! House is great and enough room for everyone. It has plenty of room for kids and adults! The view from back balcony is great! We will be staying here again.

Location Pro/Cons:
P: It's close enough to the beach (short walk) that the walk back and forth isn't at all bothersome.
P: It's a haul to Walmart so stop before the drive. BUT there are two grocery stores close by so don't even worry about it.
C: The lower level (pool, hot tub, grilling, outdoor hangout area) is blocked by the levee so you cannot see the beach from it.
Property:
P: Lots of space. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Adequately equipped with towels and facecloths.
P: All the dishes you need.
P: Streaming platforms were provided.
P: Media room was cool once you find it.
C: Property is dated. Pictures make it look ultra modern and really, really pretty. But it's not at all.
- Beds were old. One bed was propped up by books. Another had so many dusty books underneath it was disgusting.
- Showers are older with stains around the basin. Old sinks and countertops.
- Cooking dishes are old and stained. We washed everything before we used it.
C: You need to buy everything. There is no cute welcome basket for you. We purchased paper towels as the one left was used quickly. And I get it... that's not required. But I swear those things go along way.
C: the top/bottom dryer dries super weak. We had to run it several times per load. I was barely putting stuff in and still took a while. I tried various settings.
C: home needs exterior remodel. sitting in the hot tub looking at siding that's about to rot/rust whatever the word is... aint appealing.

This house and location far exceeded our expectations! After our house in Rodanthe was canceled due to storm damage, the Vacasa team worked wonders and found us this one! It was beautiful and had so many amenities that it felt like home! Our stay in Corolla has made me long for the day I can go back!
6.0 / 10.0
This is a beautiful home but it feels a bit neglected and doesn’t live up to its potential, in my opinion. Not really any personal touches/accommodations. It just felt like a rental that isn’t visited by the owners very often or ever. I would not stay here again. Luckily this trip was just me and my husband so we weren’t too affected by the lack of thought and attention that seems to have been put into this house lately. If this would’ve been a trip with our normal 14 people that we travel with over the summer, it would not have accommodated that amount of people even though it’s listed as sleeping 24 people. It is not big enough for that many people. Barely big enough for 14.
Positives: beautiful kitchen, wet bar with a wine fridge, nice floors, upgraded bathrooms (most of them), love the double headed shower in the master bedroom. pretty fresh looking paint, nice sized pool, convenient boardwalk and steps for easy access to the beach with lights for night time. It is a private boardwalk only shared with the house next to it. Has a covered area outside by the pool were you could possibly hang out away from the weather/sun. There is only a picnic table down there so not enough seats but cool area.
Negatives:
There is one living room/family room. It might sit 10 people, maybe.
One average sized fridge in the kitchen. Not enough for 14 people. There is a second one down in the “rec room”
Cool boat bar thing but I don’t see the point and the barstools were uncomfortable. Seemed like a waste of space
The bedrooms are ok. The beds feel a bit dated and one of them is being held up by stacks of books.
The curtain and blinds are lacking in all areas of the home. Either too small, not light blocking or non existent.
The closets and cabinets under sinks were messy with random things in there.
Couldn’t find a broom anywhere except for a broken one out in the back porch area.
The pool table is wore out. The sticks aren’t functional anymore. If the sticks still had tips on them there was no felt left.
The theatre room felt like a kids theatre room. The chairs were small with no cup holders and a smallish tv as the “theatre screen”.
The laundry room has a very small stacking washer/dryer combo. Definitely wouldn’t accommodate a house full of families.
There is no visible house numbers when you pull into the driveway. We had to use the keyless entry code to confirm we were at the correct house (we arrived at night in the rain). We found the sign later but it’s a very faded wooden sign that is hidden behind an over grown bush.
We’ve been vacationing in the outer banks area for about 10 years and have stayed in a lot of different houses. Some of them you can just tell that someone is paying attention and thinking of their guests/how they would want their vacation house to be. This one is just lacking and has so much potential. Beautiful home but needs some TLC.

We had such fun, everything was close, the games were enjoyed, plenty of room for our 11 family members and house was clean. Keep in mine there are lots of stairs to beach, inside and outside house. Well supplied kitchen and loved the theatre room, pool and hot tub. The beach had plenty of shells! We loved the private community with a great playground and the water full of turtles.
I would recommend to bring extra kitchen cloths, dish rags, pot holders and tips for the pool table sticks( only had chalk).
Overall, a wonderful time at Corolla for all 11 of us!

Loved this house and location so much that I have already booked it for next year. The private access gives it added security. Private access to the beach makes it less crowded as it is a ways from the public access. The bedroom set up is ideal compared with other houses we have stayed in. The private pool Was excellent. I rented a golf cart, as I do every year, but I actually did not need it at this property. I actually looked at a property right next to this one that is on the beach itself for next year, but the bedroom layout is different, and it is closer to the public beach access , so there are more people around. So, I opted to stay with this house as the perfect combination and it still has an ocean view.
6.0 / 10.0
I'll start with the good. The location is absolute perfection. You can walk to shops ans restaurants with ease. The neighborhood is peaceful and access to the beach is very easy.
So now. The cleaners were there until almost 5pm. We checked in at 4pm. The home was hardly cleaned. The grill looked like it had never been touched. The oven top looked like its never seen oven cleaner. There were spider webs in the closets on the floor. There were still empty soda cans in the theater room. The windows werent washed at all. I ended up doing a lot of cleaning esp the windows so we could see the view.
This home only has 2 small kitchen trash cans. Easily filled 2-3 times a day. Three doors on the back, one on each deck, do not lock at all. The kitchen utensils were cheap. The knives were all dull. The sink with the garbage disposal does not have a cover on the drain so everything flies out at you.
The outdoor shower and spickets didnt work at all. The dryer took 3x as long to dry. The remote in the master bedroom did not work for the TV. Under the beds have absolutely never seen a brook or a mop. Clothes were still in the dresser from previous guests.
The management company was hard to get ahold of and some questions never even got answered.
Overall, it was a great vacation, but this home is not worth the money.

We loved the house, amenities and location. Very disappointed in the house keeping and lack of pool maintenance. It appeared the pool had not been cleaned in weeks, according to the date on pool detail board.
4.0 / 10.0
Close to the beach, but for the money it should have been much cleaner. There were also palmetto bugs and large crickets in the home. Front door code didn't work upon arrival and even though I told them about the bugs no one came and sprayed. My husband went to home depot and did it himself. Pool & hot tub were full of sand upon arrival as well. First day after arrival I was contacted to see if we would allow realtor to show home for 20 minutes. Even though I said no, the realtor came anyway and had the potential buyers view the outside of the property while we were in pool area. It was very uncomfortable. Properties should be shown in between cleaning and new guest arrivals not during your stay.

We’ve probably done 25-30 beach vacations and this was the best combination of house, beach, neighborhood and town we’ve ever had.
The house is beautiful, well-equipped, and a short walk to the beach with a private walkway.
The neighborhood, Buck Island, is gorgeous in every way.
The beach is big, the weather was beautiful, and the water was nice.
Corolla is a great beach town, not as crowded as some others but with a great selection of shopping and restaurants.
The only, very small, drawback to the house was that it doesn’t have an ice maker in either fridge, so if you have a large party bring a couple of bags of ice.
Otherwise the place is absolutely perfect.

This house was everything we were looking for. Everything you see in the pictures is as good or better in person. Wonderful view of the ocean and just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of dishes and cutlery in the house. Home was clean and very well appointed.

After dune delight
The house is beautiful, with a perfect location that is close to everything. Very comfortable furniture and nicely decorated. There are ALOT of steps, coming into the house, inside the house, and over to the beach. I would want others to be aware, if there are any limitations to those visiting. The house had a lot of nice amenities. The Hot Tub was great, and we used the theater room quite a bit as we had bad weather when we visited. Unfortunately, the outside grill was unusable. It looked like the cover was not well secured and grill was waterlogged. Kitchen is very well stocked, although I would recommend replacing the kitchen knives and shears as they were very dull. Lots of space for big families, where you could spread out.

We liked the overall layout of the house. What limited ocean views this house has were even more limited by several large pine trees. The mid level bedrooms were nice and large. The lower level (basement) was uninhabitable because of the musty odor. Pool tiles were falling off and the grill needs upgraded. We also found unwanted insects in the house.
I should have called CCV to report these issues while we were at the house…I am sure they would have resolved some of these issues for us.

Great location and layout, but lacking in hospitality
Easy beach access, and great layout for 3 families with kids, but needed some TLC. Lacked some basics like hand soap and ample dish towels, etc., and some equipment was dirty/broken. Our previous stays with other rental agencies were far more hospitable in terms of the home offerings and quality, particularly at this price point.

Perfect size for our family, kitchen well stocked with utensils, cooking equipment. Beach access is ideal, pool was great, used it more than we expected.
The young children's bedroom (great bunk bed set up) should not be on same level as pool. Would happily stay there again.

Great house for a large group.
The house was spacious and very comfortable for the amount of people we housed. We loved the views and all the balconies on each level. The kitchen was stocked with everything that was needed for the week. We enjoyed our stay despite a few hiccups along the way.

A great house in a great location!
We had a great time in this gorgeous home! Well maintained with a well stocked kitchen (quality cookwear, coffee maker (drip and keurig) blender. A short walk to the beach and to food Lion! Lots of stairs- but we liked the exercise. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect, close to beach, shopping and restaurants. The house was nice but not perfect. Some found the beds on middle level uncomfortable, very firm. The kitchen had most things you would need. It would be nice to have directions for the TV’s on lower levels as there were multiple remotes so it was a guessing game. The drain in the bathroom with queen bed was extremely slow so we opted not to use it.
There were plenty of books, games, and puzzles for rainy times. Plenty of beach chairs so no need to bring your own. We were a group of 14 and there was plenty of room for all of us.

Amazing Beach House
This house was in a quiet neighborhood and accommodated twelve adults with plenty of room. Although it was not ocean front, it had a very good ocean view and was an easy walk to the beach. It was supplied very well in the kitchen, had a layout which offered places for a little privacy, and was very comfortable. Due to an unheated pool, we were not able to enjoy it with being too early in the season but the hot tub was wonderful.
