Vantage Pointe is ideally located in the northernmost section of Ocean Sands, 100 feet away from the beach access, and offers you the perfect home away from home! A spacious great room with plenty of windows provides a fantastic view of the Atlantic and you'll love the colorful, beachy decor.
The ground floor of the home hosts the rec room featuring a pool table with a convertible Ping-Pong top, a colorful bar area offering a seating area, a wet bar, Bose soundbar, a mini-fridge, an ice maker, and a TV with cable. Just off the rec room is a room with its own entrance to the pool area outside. There is also a full bathroom, laundry room, and dumbwaiter on this floor. Once outside, you'll enjoy the salt-filtered pool offering plenty of comfy seating, poolside speakers, a gas grill, and the hot tub.
Climb up the stairs and you'll reach the mid-level of the home. This floor features a primary bedroom with a TV and an en suite full bath featuring a soaking tub, and a walk-in, tiled shower. There is another bedroom with a TV and direct deck access. A room with French doors opens into another bedroom with a TV and access to the screened porch. This is a great kid's room that shares a full bathroom with another bedroom with a TV and deck access, and a fourth room available as well with a queen bed and ensuite. All bathrooms have personally designed built-in cabinets for ample storage of all your personal items.
And last, but certainly not least, the upper level and main living space of the home. The top level offers a majestic presence with its vaulted ceilings and open floor plan. There's plenty of room for the whole gang to spread out! The modern, gourmet kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, granite counters, twin Sub-Zero fridges, large gas cooktop, double ovens, and walk-in pantry make it a breeze to prepare fabulous meals for the crew. The great room has a large smart TV with Bose soundbar and cable over the recently renovated fireplace. There is a modern dining table seating six and seating for six more at the kitchen bar. You'll also find a primary bedroom with a TV and deck access, as well as a half bath, on this floor. The coup de grace is a tower hand-painted by a local artist, which gives you a place to escape from the crowd and enjoy a different Vantage Pointe overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
THINGS TO KNOW
For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available.
Fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.
The pool is open from the end of April through mid-October.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Reviews
As others have pointed out, there are some maintenance issues with the place; the freezers did not work reliably, the advertised Bose sound system didn't seem to work; it is not a place that I would recommend for its home theater setup, the attractions are the sea and the beach.
There were extremely limited cleaning supplies, bring your own, also soap, shampoo, etc.
The local staff was super friendly, responsive and helpful.
PROS:
-Excellent location to beach, shops, restaurants
-Partial Ocean view
-Kitchen was fully equipped w/ anything you need & nice pantry
-2 full size refrigerators in kitchen
-House is large & expansive
-5 and 1/2 bathrooms
-Ice maker & smaller frig in basement
-Pool area was nice (except for unkempt weeds)
-Garage to store stuff in
-Walking & bike paths
-5 beach chairs we could use
CONS:
-Promised 4:00 check in turned into 5:00 but when we arrived at 5:00 the cleaning service had just arrived & said it’d take them about an hour. So we weren’t actually able to get in til 6:00.
-Dining room table wasn’t big enough to accommodate 12 people and there was no direct light over it. It appeared to be in the wrong spot in the room.
-Advertised Bose speaker system didn’t work & had no remote so we called about it & a technician came & said it was “toast” and hadn’t been working for awhile. Very disappointing.
-No hairdryers
-Exterior: Lots of spiders/webs. Houseflies were bad
-Weedy pool area
-No cleaning supplies/sprays at all to wipe down counters, table etc
-Advertised “shampoo & conditioner” were teeny bottles (like hotels use) enough for 1-2 uses & no extras
-Pool table had only 1 cue stick w/ a good tip on it. All others were broken.
-Biggest master bath’s shower had lots of black spots/mold in grout areas
-Fire/smoke alarm on bottom floor had no alarm attached, just wires hanging out, which was discerning
Overall, if some of the Cons were corrected we might consider staying there again. We loved the location the best.
