We are very upset out unit had NOT been cleaned upon arrival. We were told we would receive our cleaning fee!! Let us know what’s going on!!!!

As a place to stay this has a great view, privacy, roominess, and is very clean. We really liked being able to park at the top or the lower level as that helped those with mobility problems. Those were the positives.
On the downside there were no curtains on any windows except the bedrooms, so someone outside could see in and you couldn't block the sun if it was blinding the TV or elsewhere. Since this house is on a slope and fairly isolated there isn't a great chance someone will look in unless they come on the property and walk on to the porch. Still, this was very disturbing since sometimes you want to block the sun or the chance of outsiders looking in.
The other significant problem was that there is no cablevision (that we could access) on any of the TVs. You can get internet TV with Netflix, Roku, Tubi, etc. without an account, but you're very limited in what you can see to old TV shows, lousy movies, or specialty reality shows, and unusual news programs that aren't local to where you're staying, but were either national or at some major cities. So we really struggled finding something to watch and the response time to changing providers or channels is considerable.
The advertising shows a basket ball hoop in the lower driveway. Unfortunately, the rim is only 8 ft. high (not regulation 10 ft.), the driveway is a bit sloped and smallish, and if the ball rolls off the driveway you'll probably never find it again since there's a very steep slope just off the driveway. This will be a minor point for most, but just be aware.
There's one bathroom downstairs and it's a bit smallish. The host provided on one tiny trash can for the entire first floor, and it's in the bathroom. So we needed to make our own trashcan in the game room to avoid constantly going into the bathroom and filling it's trashcan up. Also, one of the lamp switches in the downstairs bathroom was broken.
But in spite of the several inconveniences (no curtains, one trash can, poor TV options) I still rate the place at four stars and was mostly happy with it. We really enjoyed the view the private location and overall roominess.

Overall, the place was quite nice - but it had a few significant issues. First, none of the windows had curtains, except in the bedrooms. Although the house was located in a fairly isolated spot, someone could walk onto the porch and see straight into the living and kitchen areas. And you can't block out the sun if you want to. Second, the only TV we could access were free internet channels. This made TV watching rather limited. Third, the entire downstairs area had only one trashcan, a small one in the bathroom.
Other than those factors the place was very nice. It was clean and well furnished. It has a great view.
Because it's near the top of a bunch of winding narrow roads that are steep, you would have a lot of trouble driving up there in snowy weather, or even in much rain. We didn't have inclement weather so that was not a problem for us.

House was updated nicely and worked perfectly for our ski trip of 3 families (12 people total). Had everything you would expect in a rental and I would say is nicer than most.
My 2 biggest complaints have more to do with Vacasa than the actual house. The area had received a lot of snow in the weeks leading up to our trip (great for skiing!) but the driveway had not been shoveled once. Mounds of snow all over the top section of the driveway (6-12" in places) made it impossible to park close to the front door. Also there wasn't a snow shovel provided which should really be a must at this house. Luckily we're all relatively young & healthy so not a huge deal for us but could be very problematic for some. They should at the very least shovel a walkway for people before they check in.
The other issue is that the convenience center (where they direct you to take your trash) is closed on Wednesdays & Sundays. They don't tell you that which means once you figure it out you have to double back up the mountain to take the trash back to the house. A real pain when you already have a 5 hour drive ahead of you. My advice is if you're checking out on one of those days is save yourself the trouble and leave the trash at the house in the cage by the road. Call the 1-800 number and let them know.
All in all a great place to stay that's convenient to the slopes!

The house was awesome! Accommodated my family well. There was more than enough beds for us all. There are beds hiding under other beds! 😆 The view was breathtaking. There was lots to do in the house (board games, a fire pit, etc.) if you are looking for somewhere to just spend time. I did have a few complaints, not with the house though. When we arrived the trash can outside the home was full of trash. No big deal, maybe it wasn't picked up yet!! The house was fairly clean, although there was a layer of dust on all the counter tops. All the soft surfaces smelled great, but was damp. This includes the couches, the chairs and the comforters. I assume that was because housekeeping had sprayed febreeze all over and it hadn't dried yet. (I hope 🤞) We also found a vape under the pillow on the top bunk bed! Thankfully we didn't have small children to find it, but it makes me wonder if the pillow was even moved by housekeeping. I mean was the sheets cleaned? They looked and smelled clean, but wouldn't the housekeeper see a vape when he or she moved the pillow to change the bed? 🤷♀️ It wasn't a small vape either! Anyway, if you've ever stayed in a house on a mountain then you know that the drive up the mountain is not an easy one! I mean it comes with the territory! The drive to this particular house was actually not that bad! I mean it was a mountain drive with its twists and turns and the occasional not being able to see the road in front of you because of the steep or incline, but overall an actually fun drive. In the email I received with check in/ check out instructions said to bag up our trash and take it to the nearest convenience center. Kind of weird, but not an inconvenience. They even gave me the address, which was nice! However, after packing up all our belongings and finding a place for the trash I drove ALL THE WAY DOWN the mountain to the convenience center only to find the gates locked with a sign that said closed on Wednesdays! (BTW, our check out day was on Wednesday) I called the office and a very sweet lady told me she was sorry about all that, but that we needed to leave the trash at the house beside the garage! So..... I drove ALL THE WAY BACK UP the mountain so I could leave the trash there! Then drive ALL THE WAY BACK DOWN the mountain to continue home! Overall the stay was awesome and I would definitely book there again, I just have to remind myself that the convenience center is not convenient on Wednesdays!

We stayed for several days with 3 generations and the house was spacious and fairly well appointed. It was clean with great views and enough space for everyone to spread out- and come together. It worked well for our needs.
What didn't work well was the management company. The owners use Vacasa. I contacted Vacasa through the email portal and the app. I wrote 2 questions prior to arrival and it took over a week to get one question answered (2nd question never got a response). At the house the gas fireplace wouldn't come on so I left a message through the app asking for instructions or help on our first night. No answer even after waiting through a full business day (on the west coast where Vacasa is based). After that I stopped wasting my time.
The other thing that was annoying was that dishwasher detergent and coffee filters were not provided. There was only a 3 oz container of dish soap and two trash bags. Honestly, that is no problem if they tell me in advance as MANY places I have rented over the years have done. But super annoying when they leave it to me to discover. If I owned this place, I would hire a better management company.
