Beautiful character cottage with great space for 3 generations of the family plus dog to enjoy a relaxing weekend. Good location with nice walk into the centre for restaurants shopping tourist attractions

The place was very well appointed - really clean, which we appreciated, and a very well stocked kitchen re: utensils, plates etc. Very comfortable beds, cosy living room area and nice outdoor space. A very reasonable walk into the centre of town.
The loft bedroom was a surprise - we may not have read the posting closely enough but we were all middle aged adults so this was challenging. There was no breakfast - some tea bags, only, and we found some coffee (no idea how old it was) in the cupboard. We had to bring in all of our own supplies for breakfast.

Charming house felt very comfortable.

All was very good, love the decor!
Stairs are incredibly steep...

Location excellent, 10/15 minute walk into Chichester. Layout of house lovely. House decorated with lovely colours. All cleaning products provided.
It would have been better if there were fans available for the bedrooms. They could well have been there but we missed them.

Very stylish and very comfortable two bedroom home (plus attic single bed annex) with a bathroom and toilet upstairs and a powder room downstairs. Lovely outdoor area to sit in.
4.6
The house was beautifully decorated and like a home from home, with every gadget you could possibly need.
Comfy bed.
Lots of local information shared in the folder.
After a 3 hour drive, a pint of milk for a hot drink would have been excellent.
Garden is delightful but cushions really grubby and whole area could do with some tlc.
Pillows on beds may need replacing.
None of these things were hugely impactful. Ide definitely return and recommend

It was beautiful through out
Lots of things there to use so it was like a home from home
Very lovely location
Bed sheets really noisy but apart from that there's nothing I can fault

We absolutely loved our stay. the house was super spacious, well furnished and so comfortable. The house had all we needed to have a great stay. every evening we spent it by the log burner which was a great addition to the house. The kid room was perfect as a play area for our baby. The fact that you can park for free on the street was a bonus. And we can’t wait to rent it again.

The property was easy to find and in a good location for getting both into and out of the city.
It is beautifully decorated and provisioned to a high standard.
The kitchen is well equipped - certainly compared to other places we have stayed and has very modern appliances.
Overall, it has been done well and feels light and airy.
It would have been nice to have a few more cups/mugs in the kitchen.
We found the bed a bit on the firm side and there is limited, although adequate lounging space at the front.
It would have been good to have lamps on both, rather than just the one side of the bed.
Parking can be a bit challenging - there are a lot of double yellow lines in the vicinity and the local surrounding streets were pretty much full in the evenings.
A word of warning - the stairs are pretty steep - there is a handrail, but the treads aren't wide so take care.

Location. The cottage was well maintained on the whole. Good outdoor space.
On a fairly busy road with some traffic noise. No parking space

A lovely house, very contemporary decor, with a small but well laid out garden, in which we sat out every evening of our stay. Would definitely recommend to friends.
The road was busier than we expected (not helped by traffic being diverted along it for the first two days), but the rear bedroom was nice and quiet.

Standard of property, facilities available. Comfort.
On road parking, but not too much of a difficulty.

the kitchen plus utensils were good, and dining area was very good size. The family bathroom was a good size with good shower and roll top bath. Under floor heating was very pleasing.
on street parking not always available close by. There is not two bathrooms, there’s only a w/c and family bathroom. Information on access to the third bedroom was only given upon booking,.

Lovely home really nicely decorated. Everything was clean and the host made sure we had what we needed as we were travelling with a baby (e.g. travel cot, high chair, bath seat).
I think the kitchen needs a new frying pan. It's old and scratched so everything sticks to it. A few more towels would have also been handy.

Nice decor and facilities. Lovely dining room/kitchen. Short walk into town centre. Great home for the dog for a week.
No nearby park to let dog off the lead. Had to clean the barbecue before using it.

We had a lovely stay. Jane is a lovely host. She is very responsive.
Kitchen is very well equipped. There is a washer and dryer (in the downstairs toilet) and a dishwasher, microwave, good sized fridge and freezer in the kitchen. Rooms are well decorated as shown in pictures. Plenty of storage in all bedrooms and main bathroom.
It was also well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, washing up liquid, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper. There were some cooking condiments too and coffee, tea, peanut butter.
When you first enter the house, you enter a small sitting room that comfortably sits 3 (one on an arm chair, two on the sofa). The fourth person sits on a bean bag.
Then after the sitting room you can go up the stairs to the bedrooms or straight ahead to a big bright kitchen and dining area that opens to a patio.
When you go up the stairs to the left is a double bedroom and large family bathroom with separate bath and shower (back of the house). On the right is a double bedroom (front of the house). Within that double bedroom there is a space saver staircase (steep with alternating steps) up to a loft single bedroom. Note there is no door between the double bedroom and the loft single bedroom. The loft single bed is in a mezzanine floor. As my kids are older (10), the space saver stairs were not a problem.
The house gets warm but you can get a good breeze in the house by opening the windows. The street the house is on is noisy so we had to close windows at night.
Between 20-30 min drive to West Wittering, Bracklesham Bay, Cowdray Polo, Goodwood.
Large Waitrose nearby (5 min drive). Canal within 12 min walk.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
The single bed was a bit springy. The two double beds were on the soft side.

very nicely done up quaint cottage
the pillows and beds need attention to make it perfect
an extra frying pan would not go a miss

The house is lovely and colorful. The beds are comfortable and there is a little garden at the back where you can enjoy a bit of sun. There is literally EVERYTHING you need in the house. And Jane was a lovely guest who immediately responded whenever we had a question. Big Plus: the bathroom is beautiful, clean and large. The shower at night after a long day at work was a blessing.
The house is on two floors and it has very steep and narrow stairs, so it might not be suitable for old people or someone who is afraid of heights. Unfortunately, not all three rooms were separated, and so two of use did not have the privacy we would have loved to have after a long day at a conference. I don't think booking made it clear in the descriptions.

Every thing was fantastic the house is beautifully decorated spotlessly clean and has everything you would need plus the bonus of a lovely garden.... Jane is a wonderful host

Lovely clean house, fabulous kitchen-diner, with tri-fold doors to the super garden.
Being really picky, TV sound is poor & lots of channels are not HD. Compact lounge only fits 3 adults. These were not issues for us.

Great facilities, lovely and clean in a fab location walking distance from Chichester
Nothing really, stairs are a bit steep if your slightly older but now I’m being mega picky….
