Welcome to your charming cottage-style oasis! Relax with a cup of coffee on the front deck or enjoy tea on the back deck overlooking the marsh. We provide both professional photos and real-time images from our cleaning team, so you know exactly what to expect. Come unwind in this inviting retreat!

The Space:
As you arrive to this light blue coastal-style cottage, you'll walk up a flight of stairs to arrive on the spacious front porch and entry to the home. The front door opens to the open concept living space with a large flat screen Roku-enabled Smart TV with a seating area with two sofa beds and chair, and the dining and kitchen area ahead to the right. The kitchen/sitting area is great for those families that love to hang in together. The chef of the group can cook away while the kids play games and friends sit and enjoy the conversation. The fully appointed cozy kitchen with and eat-in area with seating for four looks out over the pond, and the dining room with seating for six opens out to the expansive back deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a bit of birding. Peaceful is the perfect way to describe the feel of this little coastal cottage! We just love enjoying the quiet morning gazing out over the water! There are two bedrooms and a full bath off the main hallway on the first floor. The first bedroom is a tastefully decorated bedroom with a queen size bed, and the second bedroom on the first floor has two twins beds with tufted white comforters and blue accents . Walking back through the living area will lead you up the stairs to the master bedroom, where the king size bed bedroom with ensuite bathroom is located. Open concept living room/dining room with seating for 6. Kitchen with eat in dining room with seating for 4. An attached one car garage with laundry facilities for guests. Once outside in the backyard, guests can enjoy full access to the deck and pond. The deck has a small gate for kids and pets, and once opened leads down stairs to the backyard. There is a very small fenced in area to the right of the deck as you're looking out the back door, that is perfect for kids or pets to enjoy the outdoors!

Guest Access:
Guests will access the home up a flight of steps onto the front porch and through the front door. There is a digital keypad lock. Guests will receive access information by email and text twenty four hours prior to their arrival.

The Neighborhood:
The house is truly a gem for people and families who really enjoy the charm of the Savannah Marsh or for those who are wanting to experience the true beauty of the south for the first time. Close enough to Savannah to experience all the city has to offer, with the ability to "get away from it all" and slow down and enjoy a little porch-sitting!

Getting Around:
Uber, Lyft, and other Taxi available, but driving is encouraged!

Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.

If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.


We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.

Back deck is not useable with stale water smell and mosquitos. Floor is sticky, Carpet is very old and nails are pocking out at the entry of bedrooms. Master bed is so soft we can't sit on it as you sunk in. Not enough light at driveway and it's scary at night.

A little difficulty gaining entry as well as locking when we all wanted to leave. Have rented other places through Vrbo where the kitchens were fully stocked with everything we needed, so this time I didn’t bring much from home. Big mistake! Had to make multiple trips to WalMart for such things as a can opener and whisk. Nice neighborhood, though. Patio furniture was unusable because the chair cushions were very dirty. Wanted to check out a little late but was only offered an additional day @ 50%. Didn’t need an extra day - just wanted to check out at noon instead of 10am.

When we first arrived we were shocked that the front steps were leaning. We however got there around 2 pm and check in was at 4. So we took and went and seen some local attractions and awaited the property manager to email with instructions. After 4 pm I emailed and asked about check in. They did email back in a decent time frame. And we got into the property. The front steps were leaning like it looked from road. We then went in and noticed that there were several little things that were inadequate. Nothing too major but not what we expected. Ceiling fan in twin bedroom looks like it is going to wobble out of ceiling back door handle on sliding door was bad loose so I fixed it. Dryer wouldn’t dry clothes well and after a couple loads the washer spat grease out and ruined a whole load of clothes. Floors felt sticky so I took the mop and water and ran over floor. It was “filthy”. Water was black and all I done was the entry area. I quit and just wore shoes around from them on. Back deck was nice but railing on non dog pen area was falling off house. Front steps leaning was due to structural issue. Beds were decent. Neighborhood was quiet. First houses going into area seem sketchy though. While I did NOT want to right a review like this I emailed the property manager mentioning these items. I did not get a reply back from them. To say I was highly disappointed is an understatement.

The check in process was great! We enjoyed our stay. Great neighborhood but the home need some TLC. Photos on-site were a bit misleading. Possibly just need to submit updated photos and upkeep of the property is needed. Need to focus on property cleanliness and curbside appeal at front door. Things that need attention: broken blinds in living room, bulbs need to be replaced in hallway bathroom and chandelier, not a pleasing house order ( maybe due to the carpet), spider webs and trash under the bed. All of these things in my opinion are things that should have been attended to before we arrived.

Property is in a quiet neighborhood. We had six guest and there was plenty of room. The kitchen and bathrooms could have been cleaner, but the beds were comfortable. Overall, the house was worth the price. The restaurant by the mini golf course was amazing and very close. Grocery store is about 7 min away also.

My grown children and their families and and I were finally able to get together at the same time. This house was just big enough for the 8 of us to be comfortable and not cramped. The location was just as described. 15 mins to downtown Savannah with the City Market, etc and 20 mins to the beach at Tybee Island. Everyone had a wonderful time. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks so much!

Excellent host, property needed some TLC
The communication with the host was excellent and he resolved our problems quickly. He was able to send out cleaning personnel the next day to address some of our concerns. The property itself could use a little work. Pros: -quick and easy communication with host with adequate problem resolution -fair pricing for our stay -quiet neighborhood - easy check in Cons: - downstairs bedrooms had pet stains/odor - no dressers or drawers in any of the bedrooms made unpacking impossible - property needs some repairs- broken shade, paint missing in part of kitchen, broken ceiling fan, etc
