The property was furnished with ancient furniture. Porch furniture had 2 broken chairs. Downstairs had a terrible moldy smell. The pool was a complete death trap. The bricks were all loose with weeds sprouting up between. There was no railing to get into pool. How people don't get seriously injured is beyond me. Linens are not included, but that is not mentioned in the house description. The kitchen is newly remodeled and very nice. It is beautifully stocked with plenty of pots, pans and dishes. John, the property manager, was fantastic. He diligently worked to rectify the television situation. Comcast was not able to fix the cable and we didn't have TV until Tuesday. The scumbags that rented before us stole the Firesticks and knocked the cable off. He brought us new Firesticks immediately. He was so very nice and efficient. Overall, the house should not be listed as a "premier host".. It needs a lot of work.

Very happy with the location and the kids loved the pool. Quick walk to the beach. House was good for my family and nieces and nephews to stay in and neighborhood was very safe and comfortable. Definitely would rent again.

This rental property is a great location on a canal leading to the bay. It has a slip for your boat, a private pool to enjoy, and space to sleep 12 people. It is a quiet neighborhood but close enough to walk to Fishtales and other great locations.
But other then the updated kitchen and bathrooms this house is straight outta the late 80s. The mattresses were hard, uncomfortable and the master bedroom's air conditioner didnt cool down the room. I even addressed this with the property manager three times who assured me it was fixed (77 degrees at 10pm). Although it was a private pool the sides of it were rough and our kids toes got scraped multiple time.
In summary I would not book this place again until the inside was updated to include new paint on all walls (smelled musty) and the pool was resurfaced.

Amazing location, great dock, nice little pool, listing could use some revisions: there is no king bed (2 queens?), 4 twin beds instead of 2, and 2.5 baths instead of 2. property manager was very friendly and quick to respond as well.

This house was in a great location, a couple blocks from the beach and main drag. The first Saturday was loud from fish tales but the rest of the week was good. It was so nice to come home and dip in the pool every night.

Overall the house is ok and we did have a good time. On the plus side, it's a great location. It was clean and tidy. The kitchen is updated, all appliances work, and it has a lot of silverware and dishes. The air conditioning works well, as does the WiFi. The master bath is decent (although the shower is weird... you can't turn it on unless your inside the shower). The pool is also a big plus. On the bad side, they didn't tell us (nor does it say in the listing) that the property has no sheets or bath towels. I texted the manager and he said that we need to provide our own or rent them. He gave me the name of a local linen rental place and we were able to get them by 9pm (cost us about $140 which we weren't expecting). Just note that there is NO KING BED in this house, even though the listing says so. Good thing we measured the beds before ordering the linens. There are 3 Queen beds and 4 twin beds. The TV in the lower living room didn't work, but the other two did. The manager came to look at it though (which we did appreciate and he seemed like a nice guy). The TVs have very basic cable. Also note that the kitchen is lacking on pots and pans, but not a big deal as we didn't cook very much. The worst thing though is the furniture. Mostly old/outdated, very cheap (although the upstairs living room & dining room are ok). Outside there is no picnic table so you can't even eat outside. Outside you get 5 white plastic chairs, which are old, dirty and really scratched up, a few small metal chairs (I mean really small, more like decorative - they hurt to sit on) and 4 chairs in the enclosed porch that have cushions, but 1 was completely broken and another was coming apart. And a tip for the pool, watch your step. Some of the bricks around the pool are loose. One of my family members stepped on a loose brick and it caused him to fall. Thank God he was OK. Also the steps going into the pool are the same color as the bottom and in the bright sun they are hard to see. We stubbed many toes. I think this house could easily be a five-star house with just a little love and attention. Get some new furniture and add a picnic table. You may also want to get some firesticks or something for the TVs too. I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 because of the linen/towel issue, lying about the master having a King bed, and the cheap crappy furniture. If the house is ever updated though with new furniture, I would stay there again. The location and having a pool is awesome!
