I liked everything, Location was perfect, cottage was beautiful, very clean, neighbour, was very friendly, would definitely recommend and return.
I would of preferred a slightly later check out as 10am is a little early , but it wouldn't stop me returning.

The location was very good, in a leafy lane, and very quiet. The cottage was very cosy and warm. The facilities were excellent with a modern, well appointed kitchen and a modern bathroom.
If the main door was supposed to be a fire exit then it would have been useless as the bottom bolt was defective and could not be retracted. The one parking space was adequate but is under an overhanging tree where pigeons roost at night so in the morning the car is covered in poo.

Good facilities, well equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting room/dining room. Two good sized bedrooms. Very old property which was quirky. Garden good size but as we were there in the winter we didn’t use it much. Lovely next door neighbour.
Small bathroom, awkward shower, small hard towels. No indoor drying facilities for a two week stay in the winter. Mould on the windows, cleaning could have been better. Freezer so frosted up not much room for food. Not enough bedroom storage space. Heating mostly uncontrollable.

Not my kind of place
Dark and absolutely freezing cold, no heating apart from convector heaters and some elec rads that were useless. Left 2 days early I had a bad cold and could not stay in a place with no heating the bedrooms were freezing. Very disappointed. The allocated parking was taken by a neighbour, we knocked on their door and they were in but didnt answer the door.

Spacious, comfortable, good shower, good kitchen. Small but effective dishwasher.
1. Advertised washer and dryer but no dryer. Had to spread clothes on the furniture to dry.
2. Bathroom heater did not function at all. Cold bathroom.
3. Instruction book for washing machine was wrong one.
4. Instruction book for cooker was wrong one (for a gas cooker, but cooker was electric).
5. Toilet seat was loose (not secure).
6. The path to the back gate has three steps - two are illuminated, one is in darkness. One of our party fell on the darkened step and received minor injury. Found a little light in the garden bed, but electric cord had been cut, hence no light. Safety hazard. Suggest lighting of this path needs complete re-work. Fails to meet acceptable standard. An external light (“floodlight” type) mounted on the external wall of the house near the small kitchen window would be one solution. Could be a sensor light, but a time-delay push-button at the bottom of the path, and another at the top would be better.

We loved everything about Little Haven, it had so much character, was clean and comfortable and had a garden that I dream of having similar to one day! There were many wonderful walks from the doorstep and beaches just a short journey away. Perfect!

The cottage was lovely. Everything you needed was there. The garden was lovely, very relaxing on the top patio with fantastic views 25 minutes walk to the beech in Minehead. A little Gem

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Lots of walks straight from the door.

Bed and pillows was very hard
Downstairs toilet and shower was very inconvenient

incredibly efficient heating. Lovely little garden.
The standard of cleanliness was good, but not outstanding. The bathroom was a little cold.

Lovely location - but I already knew how beautiful West Somerset and Devon was going to be. The property is only a couple of miles from Dunster castle and village so I knew the location was going to be good! It is not often that you stay at a location on holiday and wish you could live there but I can honestly say that I felt that about Little Haven cottage - the clue's in the name!
Nothing I didn't like.

We liked the quiet location and quick access to local foot paths. The rooms were comfortable and the cottage itself attractive and cosy.
Name needs to be on front of property rather than side gate. Stairs rather steep and difficult especially in night coming down for bathroom. Would have liked instructions for hob and also the fire as there was one cold damp evening. "Locate the controls" is not much help! didn't find the adapter for shaver/ toothbrush charge until the last day!! -in a drawer on the landing. A kitchen roll for starters would have been useful. These are small things relative to an enjoyable stay.

Nice location and friendly neighborhood. Within easy walking distance to Minehead.
The toilet had a clearance problem.

The cottage was idyllic and so peaceful, being in the perfect place for walks straight out of the door into the woods of Exmoor or a very short drive to the beach. It was well equipped and full of character with a lovely sheltered enclosed garden which was safe to let our Jack Russell roam around in.
It would have been useful to have a selection of bedding as the duvets were rather warm for the unseasonably warm April we had when visiting.

Gas fire. Very comfortable beds and beautifully decorated throughout. Well equipped kitchen. Felt very cosy. Good layout in main room/kitchen. didn’t use the garden due to weather but looked lovely. Great house reference manual. Loved framed map on wall - v useful.
The smaller room should have option for twin beds as my teenage daughter and son didn’t want to sleep together so my husband and I had to sleep with the children. Needs a Smart TV and a combi boiler as home sleeps 4 but can’t accommodate 4 showers in the morning. Milk and biscuits were provided, which was lovely, but to have had bread and butter as well would have been 10/10.

Cosy, fantastic location with a beautiful garden.
Can’t fault the place

The property was cozy and very relaxing. We loved the location. The cottage was well stocked with the necessities and more. The beds were comfortable. The garden was beautiful and well set out and well kept. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Parking two cars was difficult at the property. Saying this, we were able to resolve this issue with the neighbour. If you have any mobility issues and need accessibility parking then unfortunately this is not available.

We had a lovely stay . The cottage was equipped with everything you could possibly need . The furniture and decor and linen were to a high standard for such an old cottage which was nice . The hot water access outside was great to clean off dirty dogs .
4.3
The property was lovely and comfortable , very homely and well equipped for self catering.

The location was second to none - very peaceful and a lovely dog friendly garden to enjoy - if it had been summer I am sure it would have offered everything you would wish for in a garden and location - the cottage was super clean and the facilities were great - due to the time of year the fireplace with gas fire was wonderful after a days househunting
The towels and bathrobes provided were of a wonderful quality and would definitely recommend to friends and family
Cannot think of anything - the lock was a bit sticky on arrival and we were a bit worried we couldn't open the door as the keys were in a key safe - but a phone call to the host quickly resolved that issue
