I liked the location being right near the beach
No self fridge. No microwave to heat up food.
The room was a bit smaller than what the picture depicted.

I booked a last minute overnight stay for the same night so I was shocked at the price that I got. Especially for a Friday night at the beach on a beach block. I like to stay in nice places but I was just looking for a place to sleep and wasn't planning on spending any significant time at the hotel so I didn't have high expectations knowing what part of town that I was staying in. Upon arrival, I found the building easily and it appeared just like the pictures. I parked my car in the designated unloading parking spot and started my search for some sort of front desk or even an entrance to the building that was unlocked. There were no such doors or front desk. I called the number on the sign and a young man answered and told me he would come out to get me. Low and behold, he comes out of a building across the street and tells me that I was at the wrong building. The hotel across the street was called Carisbrooke. He gave me my key and told me I was on the third floor. No other greeting or information was given. I asked about the parking pass since the booking instructions had said that I needed to have one to park close to the hotel. He told me that there was a cafe at the corner and that is where I should go to get the pass. After getting everything to my room, I proceeded to the cafe where only one person knew how to ring up the charge for the pass (they charge you $25 but then it is refunded when you return it at the end of the stay) I am guessing that the owner was there. A man came out and siad something to the effect that he was trying to work on how the rooms were assigned to each of the hotels so people knew which building they were staying in ( I am definitely paraphrasing his words) He seemed nice.
So, that being done, headed back to my room. When you first enter the hotel, there is a room directly after entering with a coffee maker, tables, games, etc. Very warm and inviting. There was a signs about parking and...

It was really clean and updated. It felt like home. The employees were amazing and willing to help you anytime. They had everything ready and all typed out for you explaining any question you might have. I would go there every time I come to ventnor beach!
Not a single thing I disliked about this business! They are the best place in town

Walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants! Very clean, easy check in once they provided email with instructions, all contactless.

Parking...there is none

Location. It was homey. Owners were doing renevations you could see it was basically a one man job.
Didn’t know rooms were up 2 flights of stairs. Elderly would not have managed very well. Seemed like no mgr/staff onsite to help. Heat was on all the time so our in window a/c was pumping away. Room was very clean and comfortable.

It had a kitchen. Location was great.
the pillows were very hard and I suspect too old.
You had to be careful entering as it was a lower level unit and the door top was low and you had to duck some to not hit your head. Probably not the best unit for a really tall person.

The location was perfect, just a minute walk to the beach but without paying crazy money! We stayed in Room 1, which was very quirky. I loved the character of it. For the price, it was worth it!
The room had a galley kitchen, which I loved, but the pots/pans and cooking utensils left a little to be desired. There was one frying pan that was small and scratched up and no spatula or tongs. Not a big deal, but if we had known, we would have brought some of our own cookware.

Very nice and shady porch and met a lot of nice people. On the beach block was great for my disability. Had a very enjoyable time.
Mo private parking.

Both the Check-in and check-out process was very simple. Communication was pretty good. And I liked that you could go to the corner cafe to get beach tags and a parking permit with a deposit that is refunded once you return these items. The location was great - on the beach block.
The property is 'tired'. It looked much nicer in the online pictures than it does when you see it yourself. Everything looked really dated - curtains, futon and sitting chair - both had stains, crooked cupboards in the kitchen. The kitchen was very sparse - 1 drinking glass, 2 wine glasses, no coffee cups, 2 or 3 plates....Also, it was dark inside because if you open any of the curtains or blinds you lose all privacy.

What good is being on the beach block if there’s no place to park?!
Small, old rooms, floor was slanted; no refrigerator or ice readily available. I was embarrassed to be staying here.

The location is great.
The “room” actually had everything one requires eg a kitchenette with a decent fridge and a real stove.
1. Hard to find the entrance to our room (we were told to look for room #1 which would be open with the key inside).
2. The door was hard to access - a step down as if to a crawl space.
3. The entrance was ugly with a rusty old window AC
4. The “room” was dark
5. Furniture was a hodgepodge of cheap items and ugly garage sale junk.
