We had an amazing experience with renting this house for the weekend. Leah was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The house has the perfect amount of space for a large group of adults, and it’s pet friendly so our fur child could come with us to enjoy the weekend stay. The house had everything we needed and was in excellent condition. I’ve already recommended a stay here to other friends!

Our family wanted a getaway for Christmas this year. We chose Massanutten and Hopkins House. This rental was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the location, which was right in the middle of all the amenities. The hot tub was great for relaxing/ recovering after snow sports. We loved the wood burning stove and the fact that our furry babies could come with. The communication with the owner/ manager was spot on! It was just 3 of us plus dogs but for those looking would have been comfortable for a much larger group. If/ when we return to Massanutten, we would book Hopkins House again without a second thought.

We really enjoyed staying at this home. It was more than enough room for us to enjoy Thanksgiving together. We had all the utensils we needed and it worked out perfectly. It is about 15 minutes away to the grocery store, which made it a nice and quiet destinstion. Seeing the sunrise over hills was beautiful in the morning and we were visited by deer a couple of times. The wood burning stove provided great heat and a cozy setting. The host is very pleasant and provided great communication. It was really a great stay and one of the better experiences we have had in a long time. The beds were comfortable, the house was nice and clean and warm, and it was very easy to get to. We really enjoyed this property.

The Hopkin’s House has everything you could want while vacationing in the mountains. Cozy enough for two but plenty of room for several couples or a family to enjoy a getaway just like we did. Home is well equipped and hot tub enclosed within the house was perfect for our romantic getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Leah is a pleasant and responsive host 💕🍁🍁

The house was really nice. Lots of room for everyone to gather or spread out if necessary. The owner got back to me very quickly to answer any questions. It was a great vacation house with kids, they used the hot tub, made s’mores on the fire, saw deer right in the back yard!

The Hopkins House was a great getaway location for our family gathering. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck. Our 2 year old granddaughter pointed out deer in the backyard. The hot tub was a hit with my son-in-law. Hopkins provided convenient access to lots of activities for summer fun. Local breweries and wineries are only a few miles away. Our grandchildren enjoyed the large swimming pool in the resort.

Wonderful home in a beautiful location. Easy access to the national park and Harrisonburg.
The house was perfect in every way. We all enjoyed hanging out on the deck or porch and watching a young deer family daily in the yard.
The Massanutten development was a great place to explore as well.
Would highly recommend the Hopkins house to all.

We had a wonderful time! Leah was so communicative throughout the process and worked with us on some last minute changes to our stay as well as a late check-out. Plenty of towels, linens, and blankets, and the beds + couches were SO comfy! The kitchen was fully stocked, which was so convenient, and the deck was lovely for hanging out and spending time together. Also super close to great trails and a grocery store in case we needed anything! Would happily stay again, everything was amazing.

Stayed at Hopkins House for JMU graduation weekend. Leah was so easy to contact and very responsive to questions. The house was perfect for our family - I love being able to spread out a little bit and not be confined to a hotel room. Having drinks and playing games on the deck was a great way to spend an afternoon. Everything you needed to to be comfortable was there, plenty of room to spread out and relax. We did not use the hot tub but I imagine in the colder weather it would be awesome after a day of skiing. All in all a great experience.
