About this cabin rental
This sweet little log cabin has everything you need including a Mountain View.
The cabin provides an open concept living room, dining area, and kitchen with vaulted ceilings. It is filled with NH artifacts and local art to make your stay "North of the Notch" extra special.
The bedroom offers a queen bed and a very comfortable LL Been folding cot with a mattress. (Guest bring their own sheets and towels. Blankets and pillows are provided.)
The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, gas oven/stovetop, toaster oven, microwave, keurig machine, pots, pans, plates, utensils, ect. There is also a gas grill on the porch.
Leave work, school, and Zoom behind while you unplug and take in the White Mountain air. (While there is internet, it is a limited high speed plan that is NOT INTENDED FOR STREAMING.) Come with your favorite show pre-downloaded or enjoy a movie at night from our WIDE selection of DVDs.
At the cabin you will be able to relax and tune out the world since cell coverage is spotty (depending on your carrier you will be able to text). Instead, step out onto the deck and look out over the wild meadow to the mountain view or the stars at night.
The cabin isn't perfect (except to us). The bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom and we have plans to update the shower to a tub and upgrade the water heater. For now, enjoy a quick hot shower or a longer lukewarm one. We adjusted the rate until the upgrades are made.
The property is private, spacious, and little on the wild side. It it is more au naturel than groomed estate. You will feel remote while also being close to a ton of fantastic destinations. Littleton is a gem to visit while here! We are 15 minutes from Littleton's Main Street and 20 minutes from Cannon Mt.

So many thoughtful touches in this cute cabin! We enjoyed sinking into the comfy couch and enjoying the view. The Whites are right next door. We always appreciate it when we can bring our dog with us. Thanks for a great stay!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while we did some hiking in the Whites to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We found the cabin perfect. Private and quiet, and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the lovely deck. Everything the other reviewers note is spot on. It's a great place to stay and the host was fantastic. So helpful and nice. Her suggestions for places to check out in the area (especially for food) were great.

We had a great experience staying at the White Mountain log cabin. Everything was as described and the communication before, leading up and during our stay with Meg was fantastic, Meg even gave us a few good ideas of things to do while there. We will definitely put this on our list of places to go back to in the future. Highly recommend to anyone considering this cabin for a future stay.

My wife and I had the most wonderful stay 'north of the notch' - the cabin is great for a couple, just the perfect size. There is an amazing view from the back deck, looking over some distant mountains, that see the sunsets and tons of stars on a clear night. We used the grill on the front porch a few times, and also got to know some of the local places to eat. Meg gave TONS of info and suggestions about local places. You're 30-60 minutes from the White Mountains, and the drive to get there never gets old.
The check-in process and system with the lock box is so easy and sensible. The cabin was in such great condition when we arrived - Meg has really put a lot of TLC into the cabin and it shows.
It's simple, but filled with lots of games, books and DVDs. A great place to unplug and just appreciate the quiet, and within an hour of some incredible, breathtaking nature.

From beginning to end, this trip was cozy and quaint. Meg was the most hospitable host we ever experienced. Her communication and suggestions prior to our trip were so helpful and her warm welcome greeting upon arrival set the stage for a perfect , relaxing getaway. The cabin was thoughtfully prepared with arrangements for all lifestyles-children, adventurers, summer , winter enthusiasts or just relaxation. Would definitely return to this wonderland.

This cabin was perfect for sipping coffee in the morning while listening to nature and taking in the beautiful mountain views. The cabin had everything we needed for a lazy weekend. Nostalgic of the past with a great selection of DVDs and books. Big soft furniture made for the perfect reading nook or watching movies comfortably.
This was a perfect location to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of life.
Meg the host was exceptional in communication and recommendations. 10/10 would book again and again.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! We had our 9 year old daughter and our dog with us. There was so much to do and after a busy day we got to come home and enjoy the most amazing deck outside for dinner and sunsets. Meg was so incredible to speak to throughout the booking process and through our vacation. We can’t wait to visit again next summer :)

The cabin is very comfortable and private. Meg has done a great job anticipating everything a guest might want or need. She is a very responsive host, available but not intrusive. The location is perfect for a private getaway, although it's within easy striking distance of shopping and restaurants. Loved it!

If you're looking for a cozy, quiet getaway in a remote location, this is the perfect cabin. It has everything you could possibly need and want: a well-stocked kitchen, a comfortable queen-size bed, wi-fi, and a decor that's both tasteful and inviting. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to unwind from the every day grind and escape to a magical place.

We knew we made a good decision right away. The owner was in contact with helpful tips and advice. Walking into the cabin there were some personal touches which made us feel quite welcome. The space and kitchen was clean and more than adequate for our meal prep needs. The home fairly isolated and quiet.

The cabin was the perfect location for us to stay while going to the Highland Games in Lincoln, NH.
When not in Lincoln, we were able to bounce around to all our favorite places in Northern, NH. It felt like most were only 10-20 minutes away making it easy to explore downtown Littleton, Sugarhill, Franconia, Bethlehem, and Saint Johnsbury, Vermont.
The property was very private. My husband liked that there was no light pollution so he could look at the stars at night. I loved how comfortable and cute the cabin was decorated. It was the best location and best time! We will be back again!

"It may not be perfect, but it was to us", like Meg says on her description. And that was exactly true for us. Perfectly private, quiet, and peaceful with a wonderful view. We did not want to leave.

We enjoyed two nights at this cabin. The hostess was abundant with recommendations and had everything ready when we arrived in town a bit early. We enjoyed dining in Littleton and hiking in the Whites, along with hours spent reading on the couch while it rained. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend if you need a couple days the grid!

Great, peaceful location with a great view of the night sky. Very close to many outdoor activities, which we enjoyed (hiking, kayaking). Also enjoyed Littleton. Nice small town with interesting shops and a brewery that serves delicious food and beer. We would love to return

This cabin is beautifully maintained in a very private area near Franconia Notch and other attractions. During the day I could enjoy hiking, boating, etc. and then at night I could sit on the porch and enjoy the stars and nature. The cabin itself was very comfortable, clean and up to date. Meg is a gracious and wonderful host.

The property was so clean and lovely. Despite there being surrounding houses, you don’t see them and the property is so quiet. Meg made the entire process seamless and truly could not have been a better host from afar. We feel really grateful to have found this location and look forward to future stays. You would be silly not to book!

Loved the cabin!!
We had a wonderful week at the cabin. Our host Meg was really helpful with local restaurant and activity recommendations. We cooked in a lot and found the kitchen to be well equipped with everything we needed. I really enjoyed walking the pups on the peaceful dirt roads. Best of all were the gorgeous sunsets every evening! Definitely a special place!!

Unmatched service
The cabin is amazing! I couldn’t possibly think of one criticism. Go and see for yourself. Above all Meg’s service (remote, we never met) was outstanding as she made every effort to accommodate us.

A perfect mountain getaway
The cabin is beautiful and immaculate. The deck is huge with a gorgeous view of the mountains and not a neighbor in sight. Plenty of space for a couple (plus their dog) like us or even a family of four. Meg was an incredible host, communicating with us since we first booked offering so many great recommendations for adventures, hikes, food, etc. She even left us a bottle of wine and heartfelt note since we were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. 5+ stars across the board.

Perfect week
We had a perfect week North of the Notch. Meg was an excellent very helpful host. She was so considerate she even left us a bottle of wine to welcome us. She was helpful with all questions and offered us lots of suggestions for our time in New Hampshire.
The cabin was welcoming and cozy. Everything was perfect when we arrived. And it was so nice to be allowed to have our dog with us. Thanks again Meg. I would highly recommend your cabin to anyone looking for an accomodation in the area.

Nice little weekend get away! We were able to bring our dog and do a couple hikes!
We enjoyed this property a lot! Very relaxing, quiet and peaceful environment. I really enjoyed the hammock down bellow, the host is very friendly and helpful! They even called restaurants for us to see if they were dog friendly! Overall great stay! Definitely recommend for all ages!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Meg's Cabin was everything we were looking for on our weekend away from the city. As many reviewers have said, the pictures do not do it justice! We were lucky enough to be "snowed in" and took full advantage of the games and incredible DVD selection (note: MANY very recent titles, as well as classics). The cabin is extremely clean but very warm and inviting, and was perfect for my fiance and I as we took some time to unwind. Meg was a great host, and was in contact leading up to the weekend (booked last minute) with tons of great local suggestions that we will have to check out next time! And when a few fluke issues popped up, she was extremely attentive in resolving any issues. We will definitely stay again!

Relaxing
We stayed for 3 days in this super cute cozy cabin . It was clean and organized . Plenty of blankets, dvds for all ages , games and all the essentials to have a cooked meal . We felt right at home .
Meg was amazing. ! The bottle of wine and chocolates she left for us really hit the spot .
She was quick to response to anything we needed. She also was very informative about the home , local favorite spots ,an activities around the neighborhood and town . While we were there , it snowed ALOT and the plow was there first thing in the morning.
We can’t thank you enough for opening ur home and making our weekend getaway so comforting and fun !
Can’t wait to go back :)

Cozy Cabin
My wife and I had an awesome experience staying at this cabin. Our first night it rained but it quickly changed to snow where we ended up with over a foot. The rain caused the driveway to freeze so combined with the snow, we weren’t able to make it up in my truck. When we reached out to Meg, she answered immediately, was very friendly and had the plow company over shortly after.
The cabin was clean and organized, and the location was perfect. We hung out in Littleton, skied, and snow mobiled and didn’t travel more then 45 minutes to do anything we wanted.
My wife and I (and our dog) had a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Meg was very responsive and a delightful host. A hand written welcome letter and some sparkling wine, glasses and mints graced us upon arrival. It was extremely peaceful and a great experience to live amongst nature in a real log cabin...
We'll be keeping this property on our favorites list and we'll be looking forward to seeing it in all the seasons.
Unfortunately, we got snowed in unexpectedly and we weren't prepared for snow activities, but we had peace and quiet, fresh mountain air, our girl Blū 🐶 and each other (no kids for miles 🤣)... It was a great mental cleanse...
Thanks Meg...
