About this house rental

Oak Dunes is a warm and spacious 3 bed/2.5 bath open concept home. It features a wooded double lot only a few blocks from Berrien St Beach (approx 5 min walk). First floor features an open living, dining, kitchen area with a new 65” TV and plenty of seating for family fun. The large kitchen has anything you may need to cook or entertain including all stainless steel appliances and wine fridge. The star of the house - a beautiful wrap around screened in porch complete with fans for the most comfortable summer nights! Also enjoy the newly built fire pit area for s’mores and evenings around the fire.

The spacious master bedroom features a king size bed. Relax in the en suite master bathroom with whirlpool soaking tub, heat lamps, and separate shower. Rounding out the first floor is the laundry room and powder room.

Walk up the stairs to the bright and airy den with a couch, another TV, and a selection of board games, cards, and puzzles to enjoy. Down the hall is a large bathroom with dual sinks, tub/shower, and skylights. Two guest bedrooms each with a queen bed and twin w/trundle (sleeps 4 guests/room). All new bath and bed linens to provide the most comfortable stay.

Office desk, chair, and monitor provided in one of the guest bedrooms for anyone who wants to work from Oak Dunes. Xfinity cable, High Speed Wi-Fi, nest thermostat, and portable bluetooth speaker are all available for all your technology needs. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, sand toys, and wagon also provided for your convenience. Gas grill on deck.

Oak Dunes is in an A+ location near the beach, around the corner from Whistle Stop Grocery and Red Arrow Roadhouse, and walking distance to the Union Pier shops and restaurants on Townline Rd (.5 mile). Quick drive to downtown New Buffalo, Three Oaks, Warren Dunes, Wineries and all the other fun activities Harbor Country has to offer. Also, less than 40 miles from Notre Dame campus.

All good, third year same group, fun had by all. Spectacular appointments and conveniences. Only suggestion is a cleaning tool for grill, we had to leave messy due to inabillity to clean and was burdened when we went to use initially. See you next year

Betsy's home is great for a group. We loved the open concept living space, screened-in porch and firepit. It is in a great location walkable to The Whist Stop, Red Arrow Roadhouse and the beach. Small detail, but especially loved that they have and soap for all of the sinks which I find rare in rentals in :)

Perfect home for our trip to celebrate a graduation & successful school year. Plenty of room for 7 adults & 3 children. Very clean & comfortable space with everything we needed for our stay. A short walk to a beautiful beach, The Whistlestop & gelato! We have traveled to this area several times & this is one of the nicest rentals we have found. Highly recommend it! Betsy provided clear check in & out instructions & lots of great info on nearby restaurants & places to visit. Hope to stay here again!

We have stayed in this house every summer for the last several years. Every year we see the improvements the owners make and it just gets better every time. Literally a five minute walk to the beach. Also, a five minute walk to The Whistle Stop store and The Roadhouse bar. Less than a ten minute walk the other direction to the shops at Union Pier. Hope to go back every summer for years to come.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. The check in process was very smooth and efficient. This house provided all the amenities mentioned in the listing and we didn't have to bring a lot of extra items. It is a short walk to the beach which was helpful for our young kids. Since we would spend all day at the beach, we didn't even get to take advantage of the screened in porch or the fire pit outside. The Whistle Stop is a short walk around the corner which made for easy mornings to get some coffee and donuts. I highly recommend this house and my family and I can't wait to stay there again.

This was our third time staying here and we absolutely loved it! Everything was top-notch and we didn't want to leave! My two boys cried when we had to go home, but we hope to come back next year! Our favorite part is the large, wrap-around, screened-in porch. The bedrooms are all comfortable and the beach is amazing! Thanks for a memorable vacation!

Beautiful Harbor Country home. Situated close to the bike trail adjacent to the Red Arrow highway. A five-minute walk to the closest public beach. The property features a screened in wrap around porch, a fire pit, and a gas grill. Inside the place was spotless with more than enough room for us. Six to eight people would be comfortable here. It's one of the best places we've stayed in this area. Highly reccomend.

We had a great stay at Betsy’s house! She was responsive and super easy to work with. The house is very clean and has all of the amenities of home. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need. We enjoyed sitting outside in the screened in porch as well as out by the fire pit. The beach is within walking distance- Betsy recommended catching a sunset and WOW was it ever gorgeous! There are a few restaurants within walking distance and a number more very close by. We will definitely be renting her again. Thank you Betsy for sharing your beautiful home!

We just finished our third summer vacation to this property. We absolutely love it. Our first trip the house was under previous owners, and we fell in love with this property. The last two years have been under the current owners, and they have done an incredible job updating and utilizing the property to its fullest potential. The screened porch is a perfect place to relax. The house is located in the neighborhood a couple of blocks from the beach, but it's only about a 7 minute walk from blender to beach chair. The recently added fire pit is fantastic. Short walk to the Whistle Stop grocery store and the Union Pier Roadhouse. We enjoyed the short bike ride into town to other shops and restaurants. (2 minute drive) The beach rentals from Red Arrow Rides makes the beach time magical for the kids. Betsy is easy to get ahold of and very easy to work with. Highly recommend this rental.

My wife and I brought our daughter (3) to stay and had a great time. We've stayed at a number of vrbo homes and this was definitely one of the nicest and cleanest homes that we've stayed in. They take great care of it and it definitely made us feel a lot more comfortable. Communication was great and the listing matched the experience/expectation. It is a very close walk to the beach (especially with the provided wagon!) along with a close walk to a few restaurants. We also took less than a 10-minute drive to new buffalo.

We had a fantastic stay! The house is exactly as pictured - absolutely gorgeous- and so close to a really lovely beach. It is a great spot for a group of adults or a family. I've been to quite a few properties in this area and this is by far the best stay I've ever had. I will absolutely chose this place again. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the trees make the place feel very private. The owner is great, super communicative, clearly takes great care of the property, and left fantastic instructions for everything. It has everything - everything- you could possibly want for a great Michigan stay!

My family and I booked this property for a Thanksgiving meet up. As some of us reside in Michigan and some in Illinois, Union Pier is the ideal halfway point. The house was perfect. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook/host the holiday dinner and the bedrooms were great. The house is very well designed, comfortable and extremely clean. We had a minor health scare a day or two before our arrival which changed our plans a bit. Betsy was flexible and very kind. We've been vacationing in this area for many, many years and the house is in a great location: a short walk to the beach and to the local bakeries/coffee shops. We look forward to staying here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay in this lovely home. The house is very modern, clean and well-stocked, including with puzzles/games, beach chairs, and special marshmallow-roasting skewers! The homeowner, Betsy, was very responsive to all of our questions. Before arriving, we were concerned about possible road noise from Red Arrow Highway, which is only about one house away from this house. However, the home is very well soundproofed and none of that noise is audible from inside the house, especially with windows/doors closed. It is noticeable if you sit out on the wraparound porch, but you really don't notice it after a few minutes. Overall, this is still a great location with easy access to the beach and other attractions.

From start to finish, renting this property was a wonderful experience for our family! The house is beautiful and was spotless upon our arrival, as well as equipped with everything we could’ve possibly needed during our stay. It is a 5 minute walk to a gorgeous public beach that never got crowded. Betsy the owner is very responsive and incredibly accommodating. We will definitely be renting again in the future. I cannot recommend this house enough!

The house was ideal for our group of 3 families. Plenty of space, very clean, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen (dishes, glasses, cutlery). Monitor in upstairs bedroom was useful for remote working, too! We really enjoyed the screened in porch and loved that the property was well shaded by all the trees. Easy walk to the beach and close to other attractions.
