The checkin/ checkout experience was a breeze. We had a WiFi issue but it was quickly addressed. The convenience of having the beach right across the street was a good bonus especially having twin toddlers. I would have liked to have a few more kitchen essentials and a better mattress but the place was good overall. I’d stay again.

Definitely give 5 stars for everything about this stay! The house was clean, linens and towels were provided along with everything you needed for washing dishes, soap, mini shampoo and conditioner along with kitchen appliance necessities! Loved that it was pet friendly but you couldn’t tell because it was so clean! The view of the beach from the porch was breathtaking and the walk was short which made it nice to go back and forth and with kids! Would definitely stay again!

Upon arriving the unit had not been cleaned, no sheets, no towels. We got the linens at 9:30 p.m. there was no cold water in the kitchen faucet. Blinds were missing. And there are cockroaches, which I reported and heard nothing. We received $50 refund on cleaning, but overall I feel we deserved more. We loved the location, we would love to book next year, but I would need to know those issues are resolved.

Check in process was horrible. Talked to 3 different people on the phone all did not even live in the USA. Good old 800 number. Email had conflicting information on it. Every person I talked to had a different answer. Said there was a keypad on the door and didn’t need a key but then also said go to the office to pick up a key. Got multiple answers on wether I needed to get a key. Showed up to the property to find out I needed a hard copy of the key had to drive back to the “main office” which was closed and no one was there and no keys or check in packet to the house. Was on the phone for 45 minutes to have an actual person that lived and worked on the island to get in contact with me and have a maintenance guy show up to say “yeah that property needs a key” it’s not a code. But the property manager didn’t even know that needless to say I won’t be using Vacasa again. Plus VRBO adds an additional fee to about $200 to the charge so beware with going through them. Property was alright I wouldn’t recommend. Did allow pets so that was good and it was a good location. But company and property manager are no good.

This place was perfect for our little family. We had top floor and it was perfect. Walk to beach was perfect as well. View of ocean was amazing from the deck. The floor below us had other tenants and you could hear them very well talking or tv and their dog and when they walked the whole place shook. It was a little too close for comfort but we weren’t home much so we tried not to let it bother us.

The view was great and location was the best part of the trip. Listing wasn't accurate stated they supplied things for beach when we got there and called to ask said they no longer did and sent us a link to rent beach equipment. Our padlock battery died late at night coming back from a wedding. Customer service wasn't great long wait times and took long to get answers. Only 1 router for 2 units wifi signal was very weak only bottom unit has access to reset router. Asked to vacuum, wipe down surfaces in fridge and strip "used" beds only to help cut down cleaning time. If you don't want to clean at the end of your vacation don't stay here. Only 1 outdoor trashcan for 2 units was not enough ran out of room.

I am giving this house 5 stars because of its location and views. We are not picky people and we barely spend any time in the house, so it was perfect for us. We had a really easy walk across the street to the beach; however, some people may have trouble accessing the house if they do not have a vehicle with 4WD or all wheel drive as everything is covered in sand. Thankfully, we had our truck so there weren't any issues. If you plan to cook a lot of meals in the house, you may want to bring some cooking utensils and a couple pots and pans. We ate out most of the time, but when we did cook we had to get a little creative with what was available. When we got there we noticed there was a coffee maker that was missing the pot. We reported the issue and a new coffee maker was delivered to us the next day. We also reported that the toaster did not work unless you stood there and manually held the lever down, but that was never replaced.
All in all, we would definitely stay here again. The place seemed clean, the bathroom was large, it was pet friendly, close to the beach and it was perfect for what we needed.

Everything was perfect except there is really no road or driveway—just a path between sand dunes and unless you have a 4 wheeler drive you will get stuck. Home is beautiful and location is great

We loved the location and the proximity to the beach. It's a cute little apartment style condo, with comfortable furniture and a great shower. It was clean and we loved that the beds were made on our arrival and soap was made available. Very disappointed that there was a washer and dryer advertised, but out of order and not much for cooking with, a toaster that didn't work and no oven mitts, making cooking for the family difficult. I will say, that when we were locked out of the house, we were helped pretty promptly, so very happy with Vacasa:)

There had been a storm the week before our stay. The roads and driveway had not been plowed from all the sand,. We had brought our motorcycle with us so we could ride the coast. It was very hard to get the motorcycle out of the driveway, so we hauled a bike 300 miles for nothing. The street was eventually plowed but not our driveway. We left 2 days later because of the circumstances and not refunded any money.

The view and proximity to the beach was outstanding. The property was as described and pictures were accurate. I was not lucky enough to have quiet neighbors, but instead had downstairs tenants who played their music to the blasting level. After 3 days I had to ask them to please turn the music down, which they did. A lot of the light bulbs were burnt out and there was no front door mat which lead to constant tracking of sand inside on the vinyl floor. Better quality outside furniture would have been nice since 3 of the chairs were plastic and one was a rusted out metal. A table would have been nice on the deck as well. But it was a good view and after the noisy tenants left, it was worth a few inconveniences. And you can walk on the beach to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and miles and miles of uninhabited shoreline.

Not much, the view of the ocean was great, but the condition of the condo spoiled the stay. This place needs an update into the 21st century.

I spent a few days there with my boyfriend and his mother. The view was amazing and the light of lighthouse flashes by. The only thing is there is alot of stairs and that was rough on the our oldest group member. On the upside it had everything we needed including pots and pans.
