Due my short stay, I didn’t get the reception open, so I didn’t meet any staff, although my key was awaiting for me when I got at The accommodation around 7pm. There were coffee utilities but no mugs.

Nothing
BE WARNED. Stay elsewhere, owners did not provide refund or compensation after delivering two rooms that were not cleaned and asking us to wait while they do it at 10.30pm in the evening after checking in. 1st room had disgusting fishy leftovers in the fridge, microwave with spills unwiped, hairs in bathroom and unflushed brown muck in the toilet. 2nd room has dirty bathroom mirrors and a fridge with spills and unwiped surfaces. Owner said this was due to human error. Didn’t stick around to even find out what else was missed.

Access road full of severe potholes. King driveway was littered with rubbish either side and could see overflowing bins scattered all around property. No or very limited reception. It seemed the common thing room was being lived in - dirty bedding rolled up near fire with lots of grubby personal effects nearby. Felt like deliverance. Can’t drink the water from tap. Don’t mind roughing it in older style basic accom but price doesn’t reflect what you get plus there’s no reason for the filth I saw everywhere. If it had been tidy and well maintained I would have stayed but the state it was in I turned around and drove away, and got a room in town. I’m poor and it cost me my fortnightly shopping budget but was worth it to not have to stay there.

I would stay again, I like how rustic it is
One bit of feedback: please don't use so much febreeze. It can give people migraines. Thanks:)

We felt good, warm and comfortable, our second visit this snow season and we will choose the "village" again, the bush setting is very attractive.

staff wete friendly , place was 10 min drive to shops , bed was comfortable
this place was rated 4 booking .com which is absouluty incorrect !
we stayed in family room with privet bathroom ! small room with 3 beds , room carpet wasnt vaccum ! it was full of rubbish from last guests …. toilet door was a faulty and we couldnt close it which make it very inconvenient when 3 people staying in one room .

Our second room was relatively comfortable and cosy. But after the 1st room anything was luxury.
The restaurant had good food but we only ate there one night.
Our first room was EXTREMELY basic for an exorbitant amount of money. The water in the whole premises was undrinkable, and we were only given 2 x 500ml bottles of water for a 2 night stay. Zero mobile coverage and almost non existent wifi. There is no where to hang clothes or dry snow gear - the main purpose people would stay. It appears to be a work in progress but much of it needs a lot of work to come up to code.

Amazing Nature on offer, a real chance to feel like you're on holidays. Super friendly awesome staff and the chef is amazing! Fire pits right outside your cabin with free wood! Chickens and horses too! Can't wait to keep booking this place and see what the new owners turn it into.
The share bathroom was a bit cold at 7am in the morning, but it was minus -8 degrees, so there's not much u can do about that. I'll just book a room with a private bathroom next time.

Did not have Breakfast, did not think the appearance of the place warranted risking life by eating there. The Room was so small a DOUBLE size bed nearly filled it. The bed pushed against the wall. No place to hang clothes, no spare pillows, no extra blankets. Nowhere to put bags. There was not even a Gidien in the single bedside drawers. NO DRINKING WATER on tap, had to go to dinning room to collect water. The fridge was rusted inside, partitions missing and shelves loose. No even a TOASTER besides no table nor any chairs of any description, kitchen or easy. TV had to be re-tuned in order to get a picture, the screen so small mobile phones are bigger. Even the floor towel in the shower cubby hole was damp before we used it. The box was not properly insulated that the A/C could not handle the cold night, no electric blanket, Doona would not keep anything warm, we had to wear tracksuits to bed along with Beanies to keep warm.
Much easier to say what we liked. Leaving the over rated, over priced, under performing excuse, was the best thing.
Good value at $31 however they charged $312 for a night. We should have been paid to stay there.

When I got there, I was surprised by the outstanding views in front of me. It was more cozy and comfortable than any accommodation in Jindabyne I had stayed in, and there were lovely staff!!!
They did everything I asked for and their best to help me have a good time. It has a good price, a good location, and lives in nature with horse and kangaroos near the river. I am also grateful to have had such an experience.
I went there for snowboarding, but I could relax in the beautiful nature, and there were many facilities that I didn't expect. I fell in love with that place. I've already made five more reservations after my first visit if I'm willing to go back there at any time.
The only thing I was uncomfortable with was the shower facility. However, according to the staff, the owner has just changed and now they are planning to build the best facilities in Jindabyne. To be honest, there are something that needs to be improved , but they said they were clearly aware of them and plan to develop them in the future.
I look forward to its visit next year!!

The staff were nice and made all the other negative things worth it.
1. booking issue that was not my fault .. i was offered complimentary breakfast for it though when it got rectified. We went for the compli breakfast the next morning - the pancake batter inside the pancake machine was already off. We didn’t eat them and informed staff.
2. We didn’t have water (sink, shower, toilets) until 9:30am. Was told it was due to frozen pipes..? Unsure. Whatever the case was, it was too late for everyone to shower, prep etc and we didn’t want to check out late.

great location & setting.
Dirty on a New Level.
We had a upgrade to Wich I thought we already booked.
There was dead insects in the cupboards, mice poo in the toaster, bench tops & in our bed on the sheets.
The kettle had grime in it,the microwave had old food splatter in there & all the cuttlery was not clean and still had food on it!!
It had a foul smell in the Cabin also.
We went for dinner and as we had been served water in a glass it had floaties in it & the glasses were dirty.

Most beautiful property and wonderful outdoor area to walk around. Also was able to have a fire outside which was the icing on the cake.
The only thing I disliked was my bedding had dirt in it which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned and the milk supplied was lumpy.

There wasn't anyone at reception when we arrived at 10 pm. They left a phone number at the door but calls were unsuccessful.
We had to enter in the reception (thanks God it was unlocked) and look on the staff desk which room we were staying and get the keys for it.
The most disappointing thing was no hot water in the shared bathrooms/showers !

Decent room, perfect for an overnight stay
Microwave to be provided in the room.

The place was fantastic, perfect for what we needed, going to the snow close by in Perisher!
There was thought out into everything and you can really tell that the folks here care!
There was nothing better at the end of the day, skiing then settling into such a warm, comfy cabin.
There was even a resident possum, so perfect for wildlife lovers!
Not only that, but I left my glasses there before returning all the way back home to Melbourne.
Hailey promptly called me saying that they had been found, and she was happy to keep them for two weeks until I next returned.
After a week dealing with some of the rudest people I have ever met working on the mountain, Hailey’s infectious positive attitude and niceness actually had me leaving the mountains feeling great again.
Thank you Hailey!!!
nothing!

I had a nice stay here, the room was the perfect size, with two heaters so I was super warm. TV on the wall and fridge/ coffee etc.
The staff were very nice and accommodating. Offering to help with bags, and making sure everything was good. They were renovating and getting ready for ski season, but it didn’t affect my stay at all. Looks like its going to be quite nice, a lot of new things going in. I'll be back in a few weeks for skiing.
There wasnt really anything that bothered me.

Location was fantastic, the games room available to guests was a lot of fun. While there was no/limited cell reception and no Wi-FI, this was fun as we got to have a tech-free stay and enjoyed the old school games in the games room.
I wasn't aware there was no Wi-Fi or cell reception on site before we arrived.

It was set in a beautiful location with wildlife to see out of the window. If you want modern facilities don't come here, but if you want rustic, clean comfort and value for money at a great location, this is ideal.
