Great location and the house was clean and well-appointed. Soap in all the bathrooms, plenty of bath and beach towels, plenty of dishes, etc in the kitchen. The downstairs layout with two bedrooms, two toilets, two sinks, and one shower in between was perfect for 4 adults. The loft with the queen bed was also great to have. Overall a perfect place for 6 adults and could easily accommodate even 8 people with the loft.

Plenty of space for a family of 4 ski vacation! Close to Diamond Peak. Would stay here again!

Perfect location for skiing at Diamond Peak for 4 young adults and 2 seniors. Well equipped kitchen except it does not have an electric tea kettle.
Con: Parking Card was not available when we arrived (same item was reported in past reviews). Instruction on how to lock the door should be given/emailed on the day of check in. Overall, happy with our stay - reasonable rate compared to 2 similar properties nearby.

We had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of space to move around with clean rooms. Any supplies we forgot, they had available to us. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions and very friendly. We would highly recommend!

The house was nice and spacious and located very close to the Diamond Peak Ski Resort. We skied 3 days in a row, walking to the free shuttle that takes you to the resort, so no need to drive which was very convenient!
However, when we arrived there were no parking passes in the house (required placards for the cars in that community). The instructions also said that if you have two cars, one of the cars must be parked in the garage. The garage was locked (and not connected to the house). So we could not safely park in the community. We called the customer support, it took me 20 minutes to explain the situation, the person did not have any useful information about our particular house and filed a help ticket with the local support. We stayed for 6 nights, nobody contacted us, and the situation was never resolved.

The rental unit was beautiful and comfortable. It had all the amenities that we wanted and needed for such a beautiful snowy weekend.

Great place to stay when in Tahoe
This condo has great amenities. You are central to everything on the North Shore including beaches, hiking, bicycle trails, dining and shopping. We thought the condo and beds were comfortable and we didn't want to leave! Had a great time.

Clean and ample space
The condo worked for us. It was conveniently located, clean, the main room was large, and we had ample space. The downsides were that although the listing says 3 bathrooms, it’s 3 toilets and 2 showers (2 bedrooms share a shower). Also, we never received the parking permit. The beds aren’t the most comfortable, but they worked for the few days we were there. We would return to the moose roost again.

Good layout
The house is a nice layout for families. It’s is walkable to some stuff if you are able to at least walk a mile with hills. Parking can be a little tough at night but we eventually always found a spot. Plenty of items in the kitchen for cooking meals. Usually prefer to rent from owners but the property management company was pretty friendly when I made direct phone calls. No beach towels in the rental so bring those.

This unit was a great discovery just two minutes from the Diamond Peak ski resort. The location was the main driver for our decision to book.
It is a nicely appointed space. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, spices, cookware, dishes, etc. However, if you are cooking >anything< that is a high-heat dish that gives off >any< smoke at all, you will need to open ALL the windows as the smoke alarm goes off right away - the kitchen doesn't have a hood fan. I recommend the management relocates the smoke alarm and/or installs a hood fan. Especially if you don't want to alarm the neighbors routinely during your stay.
Overall this space is quiet, comfy and roomy; great for families. Additional drawbacks to note were the bed in the master bedroom needs upgrading to a firmer mattress, hooks near the entrance would be great for hanging up coats, and we never received our parking pass for the extra parking space though we called in about it and was told it would be delivered. Luckily our van fit inside the garage. It was snug but we got it managed.
Other than these needs the place was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated with lot of comfy seating and hang out areas. With at least addressing the smoke alarm issue and getting a new mattress for the master BR we would definitely stay here again.
