The main level at The Place to Bee features a beautiful built in gas fireplace situated between the Living room and Dining room. Perched above the fireplace sits a large smart tv set up for you to log into your favorite streaming accounts, no cable. If the outdoors is where you want to be even after the beach, this home has a large screened in porch area off of the dining room. This porch offers you extended living space with a second table with seating for 6 and bar stools lining the bar top with pass-thru windows to the kitchen (makes serving the kids a breeze) and a sectional, perfect for unwinding after a day of activities. This space makes great for rainy days too, whip up some snacks and sit down at the table to play a game of cards with the family.

This was our second year at this rental and everything was once again amazing! This house was perfect for our family of four and provided everything we needed for our 1 week stay. The house is away from the hustle and bustle of the resort, which was great for privacy! All of the amenities at the resort were very nice and only a couple minute golf cart ride from the house. We plan to come back again next summer!

We enjoyed our stay at The Place To Bee. We took our grandsons with us and they loved riding in the golf cart every evening. We also enjoyed having a campfire in the fire pit after a day of swimming. We’ll be back again !

We had an amazing week long vacation with our family at a Place to Bee. We had everything we needed at the house and the Beachwalk resort. The house was clean and very spacious for our family of 4. We enjoyed the pool and beach at the resort. I wish we could have stayed longer to be able to enjoy all of the other activities at the resort! There was always something to do! We can’t wait to book again for next summer!!

Easy check in and out process with excellent customer service. Love the Beachwalk community- wonderful beach, pool, and use of the golf cart. The rental was spacious and offered plenty of room for all. The unit was mostly clean but could use some attention to detail on a few things. The downstairs bathroom curtain is stained and needs to be replaced. The sheets in the loft are stained and I had to wash them to be sure they're clean. All area rugs are dirty and need to be replaced. These are easy and very low cost fixes that would make this unit even better.

A Place to Bee was clean, spacious, and well equipped with the bedding, kitchen items and supplies we needed. We enjoyed having access to the golf cart and the variety of beach/fishing items. I had couple questions come up during our stay, and the manager was timely and helpful in responding.

We rented this home for a Weds-Sat stay and it was wonderful. We have stayed at quite a few places over the past few years at Beachwalk and this home was the most well-appointed yet. Great kitchen amenities and also wonderful layout for our family of 4. The golf cart and beach-shack also are stocked with great supplies and we really enjoyed using the grill and the screened porch was lovely. We like being a little farther back in the neighborhood with quick access to the playground and grocery. We wouldn’t change anything about the place and will definitely be returning. Regarding Beachwalk overall we were really pleased this year and happy to see a lot of progress, upkeep and updates. It looks like there is new fresh signage, great paths and identified amenities and the new building is great. We always look forward to our annual summer trip and it has been the best vacation spot for our young family. It’s so great to have a place we can return to and build family traditions.

We loved The Place to Bee! Perfect place for a girls weekend. There were 4 of us, and this house was perfect! Adorable decor, great appliances, and we loved the golf cart! We drove all over the resort and it made trips to the beach and the pool easy! The screened in porch in the back was also very nice! We loved having our morning coffee out there and we even watched aStorm go through. Just an overall great place to get away for a while! And the resort has so much to offer! I could see renting this house again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay over fall break. My kids loved the upper loft area and my wife enjoyed a glass of wine every night out in the screened in patio area. We had everything we need and it was great to have the golf cart!

We LOVED our long wknd with our 2 boys (2.5 and 6 months). The house was towards the back of the resort, so the golf cart was key as otherwise it would have been quite a long walk (which we love walking, but it was nice to save the time) to both the pool and the beach. Plus, I think riding in the golf cart was the highlight of our 2 year olds trip! I was worried that the house was "too quiet", and away from the fun hussle and bussle, but there were still other houses near by...with the added benefit of having trees (which not all of the other houses had). We were a very short walk to the cute park, which again was nice to not be right next to, but yet was very close. There was plenty to do, between the pools, beach, park...plus we did end up making the short drive to the zoo with the kids loved. The house itself was plenty big for us, we didn't really use the 3rd floor open spot other than for a few morning reading snuggle sessions. The house was a little loud in that you could hear everything, which was fine for us since it was just us but would definitely be tight if you tried to get a second family in there. We also really enjoyed the screened in porch and the firepit. We were also impressed with the interactions that we had with staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful...we will definitely be back!

This is our second time staying at Beachwalk and 1st time staying at Place to Bee! This house was perfect for our family of 4! The house was clean and was stocked with everything we needed- the golf cart especially was super handy! Beachwalk was amazing yet again with amenities to keep our young kids entertained. We didn't encounter any crowds! We would definitely return back here for another year!

We enjoyed the fire pit as well, it was nice to sit and talk uninterrupted with our 24 and 27 year old daughters. We used to come to Beachwalk many years ago and have always had great memories. Will definitely be back.

This is our 9th year staying in Beachwalk and we will be back again next year! We love the neighborhood, the proximity to the beach, and having the golf cart adds a little excitement. We have stayed in a different house each year. The Place to Bee had just the right amount of space for our family of 5, everything you could need, and is close to Sandcastle Park. However, the beds were only full size and not comfortable, the couches also needed replaced (uncomfortable and covered in pet hair - we even tried to vacuum them), and the hot water lasted about 10 minutes so there were lots of cold showers. I would not stay in this house again, but it was nicely decorated, fully stocked, and in a good location. It also came with a golf cart and a shed full of beach toys, chairs, kid bikes, and wagons which is a plus!

The three women working the office when I checked in didn’t have masks on and when I asked why I was given an eye roll by one!!!!! Shameful disrespect. The showers in the home were not good and hot water was very limited.

The Place to Bee is a nice home and we found it as pictured. Nicely outfitted kitchen, beach supplies, and games. Overall, however, we were disappointed with the cleanliness, a major ant problem, and the response of the Beachwalk staff. Here are the details: When we arrived at the home, we noted the following cleanliness issues: Hairs in the bathtub, potholders in the kitchen drawer caked with food chunks, dusty corners in every room, the master bedroom fabric bed frame was soiled with yellow and brown stains, there were only old/used sponges for cleaning/washing dishes, a slatted wood piece of furniture in the master bathroom was caked between the slats with dust and hair (and this was the only surface for storing toiletries as there was no counter top). Additionally, the house has a major ant problem. We were killing ants and/or finding dead ants everywhere. When I swept the floor (which I had to do multiple times), I swept up dozens of dead ants. After checking in on Sunday evening, I called Monday morning to the office to report these issues. I was told by the staff person that she would discuss my concerns with her manager and they would follow up. By Wednesday midday, when no one had followed up, I stopped into to the office and related the entire list of concerns again. I was asked rather brusquely by the staff person, "What do you want me to do? Refund some of your cleaning fee?" While that was fine and appreciated, there was no apology for the condition of the property nor for the lack of follow up. She did not write anything down, nor did I get a sense that she planned to relay my concerns to the cleaning staff. Other notes: The house is in the far back corner of the Beachwalk property, which gives it a bit more privacy and shade, but it's a trek to the pool and beach. The Beachwalk coffee shop had hours listed of 7a-7p daily, but was never open while we were there.
