Pros- Nice property, outside is a great for kiddos, looks like a good neighborhood. Cons- Inside could use an update, broken counter top edging outside is pretty sharp and right at kiddo head height. Biggest issue is you are not allowed to go outside between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM... Listing says pool is restricted after 9:00, but liturature at the house make it clear the neighbors will call the cops if they hear people outside.

We booked this space for five days and overall, we were happy with it. Just a few things worth mentioning:
The pictures do make the rooms look slightly bigger than they really are.
They had plenty of baby items like a pack and play.
I didn’t see any large floaties like in the pool pictures, but there were other smaller options.
Gabe isn’t the best when it comes to responding to messages. I had to resend a couple of messages to get a response. After checkout, we realized my mom left very important medication in the bathroom and it was difficult to get a quick response.
I don’t know if it’s because it’s a hot tub and it’s warm/hot water, but after maybe a day or two we noticed there was significant algae building up. Not a big deal, but towards the end of our five day stay, it looked a little gross.
I do appreciate that Gabe waived the heating fee for the pool and Jacuzzi! That was very nice.

We had a wonderful vacation with our grown children and grandchildren and would most definitely come back again!!! The house was very clean, and beautiful inside and out! We chose the house for it’s beautiful backyard, and it didn’t disappoint, it kept us entertained for hours! We had a blast on the water slide, jumping off rocks, playing on the putting green and enjoying the outdoor eating area!! The only little bummer was the hours we couldn’t use the backyard, but we knew it before we booked and felt like it was still worth every other aspect of the rental. Highly recommend!!! ☺️

Plenty of room, plenty of amenities, very clean. Our family of 16 , our children their spouses and our grandchildren had a wonderful time for sure! We spent out time outside in the pool , jacuzzi, putting green, corn hole, foosball. Had great meals cooked outside in the great outside kitchen. You couldn’t ask for more! We had a wonderful time! Hopefully someday we can return. Very close to beach and great restaurants! Thank you Gabe !

This is terrific spot for a large family or group gathering. The pool, hot tub and outdoor hangout area is definitely the highlight. It's pretty amazing. The rest of house is great. The kitchen is well stocked. It was an excellent fit for us.

This place was everything you can expect and more! The pool was a show stopper, mini golf was amazing, corn hole was a great touch. The kids just always had something to do. Wished we could have used the fire pit at night but totally get why we couldn't. We hope to book this place again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

This property was everything and then some. We needed for nothing during our stay. Every bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. The kitchen was great, the outdoor kitchen was also amazing. Like most of the other renters stated, the outdoor area was where we spent most of our time! We are from Michigan so the lower temps, weather wise didn’t keep us from enjoying the hot tub, (heated) pool and fire pit. The little kids had such a great time in the pool area while our older teens enjoyed having their own space to zone out.
We could not have asked for a better place to rent to have our own private retreat!
Gabe the owner was in contact and available if we needed anything, which we didn’t!

This property was amazing. We came to Southern California for a wedding, but staying here was the highlight! This was our family meeting place and central to our visit. We had an issue with the waterfall, but Gabe came over personally and fixed it within the hour! (software issue couldn't be avoided). The house (and pool house) was spacious and clean. The patio was amazing and roomy for our 10 guests. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen and laundry (even the bathroom) were stocked. It felt like our home while we were there, we were sad to leave it. We would defiantly consider this rental for future visits to SoCal.

This Private Resort Home in Vista, CA was by far the BEST VRBO rental ever! A perfect location for a Staycation for our extended family of 6 Adults and 6 Young Adults and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! The AMAZING Pool with Waterfall, Slide, and Spa with Swim Jets was AWESOME! Like a private resort that we enjoyed EVERY afternoon! We opted for heating only the Spa and the Pool was plenty warm from the hot sun. The place was immaculate! TVs with built-in Roku everywhere (4 in the main house, 1 in the Pool House, and 1 in the outdoor patio). Air Conditioning in the house worked great. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Very modern appliances that worked great! Very convenient to be able to park in the Garage (note the code is slightly different than the front door) and the very large driveway. Beds were very comfortable with very nice linen, blankets, and pillows. House is also on top of a hill with a nice view West towards the ocean. Lots of restaurants, fast food, stores, etc. nearby. Gabe was VERY responsive to all of my questions and getting minor thing working very fast. I highly recommended renting this house. You won't be disappointed! Note: The Pool House now has two Full (I think) size beds side by side instead of a bunk bed which was a nice surprise!

The property was perfect for our multiple family vacation. From young kids ranging from 3-10 to grandparents, there’s was plenty of room for everyone and something to keep everyone happy and entertained. The backyard was the highlight of the property and the kids couldn’t get enough of the slide and pool. The outdoor dining area was great for bbqs and al fresco dining. The water pressure in the showers was a little low but fine for what we needed.
The location was great and close to legoland and the beach. Gabe was easy to reach when we needed and everything worked well. (The garage code wasn’t working but it wasn’t a big deal for us). I would highly recommend this house for a vacation and we will be back next time we plan on being in the area.

Fun place! The house was perfect for our family of 8 (six kids ages 6-15). The pool/waterslide area was a huge hit and they would have stayed in it all day if I had let them. Even on rainy and cooler days, the pool heat was enough to be comfortable (Colorado kids!). Beds are comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Guest house by the pool was fun for 2 of our older kids to stay in. The trade off for the pool is a longer drive to the sights in San Diego. It was 45-60 minutes any time we went anywhere such as La Jolla, Sea World. Coronado, etc. (sometimes longer, depending on traffic). For us, the pool and house were worth the extra driving time. We truly hope to be back someday!

This property was exactly as advertised. The outdoor area with pool, water slide, hot tub, mini golf and game area, and outdoor kitchen was truly amazing. The “kids” spent hours each day enjoying the pool and spa. We totally lucked out and had amazing weather during our entire stay.
The house was clean and comfortable. The owner was extremely accommodating and got back to us immediately when I had questions.

We are San Diego locals who stayed at this property to give our daughter a pool party for her 13th birthday. The pool is amazing with the waterfall and slide and the large jacuzzi was also perfect. We BBQd steaks and the girls ate outside at the large table. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. They all made great memories together. Definitely recommend!

We had a great time at this Vista property! 15 minutes from the beach, but we also loved just being together at the house with perfect weather. The backyard was amazing and we spent most of our down time there, with the pool, golf and turf games, and outdoor BBQ. Everyone loved it. The house itself is great. Tastefully decorated. Beds worked great for us. We did bring plastic cups to use outside (as other guests had suggested) and the kitchen doesn't quite have all you need to prep/serve food when you have big groups, but we made do. We ran out of silverware and bowls with our group at each meal, and we ended up just buying plastics to fill in. I didn't read the fine print when I booked this, but take note: heating the pool/jacuzzi is an extra $150 day. One other thing to note: this is in a neighborhood, and quiet hours are 9pm to 9am. Luckily we could corrall our kids/teenagers inside during those hours, but they were wanting to stay out until 10. It looks and feels like a resort, but they are not resort hours, understandably. Overall, everyone was very happy with our stay!

Oceanside Retreat
This property was very nice. It checked all the boxes for our trip. I travelled with my family for a weekend getaway and we had an amazing time. The backyard was like being on vacation. There was something for everyone regardless age. On the inside , all of the cabinets were labelled making it easy to find things. Check in was smooth and the home is spacious and clean. Great house
We rented this house for a local vacation and for my husband’s bday. The house was very clean and organized. Everything was labeled and easy to find. The house also was very kid friendly; the backyard was so awesome with the bbq area, pool/water slide, and miniature golf area. Everyone had an amazing time!

What wonderful accommodations! We wanted a place to stay that would disconnect us from our phones and reconnect us as a family. There was something for everyone in this house; from my parents (who loved the fire pit and coffee in the morning/an adult drink in the evening), to the adults (who loved the heated jacuzzi), to my teen and pre-teens (who loved their own pool house and the fast slide), to my young niece and nephew (who enjoyed the big pool with a large shallow play area and floats to play with). We made some long lasting memories here.
My only suggestion is to bring your own plastic cups. I’m sure most people bring disposable plastic cups with them, we just dropped the ball on that. No glass is allowed around the pool, but there were only glass cup options in the house so come prepared. That’s it, pretty much everything else is there, they even provide shampoo and conditioner!!! This was our first VRBO experience, it will be hard to top this place. Gabe was a great host, he checked in on us and was a pleasure.

Instead, We decided, last minute, to find a house with a pool that we could drive to for a little family time together iand we stumbled across this home. The whole family loved it and we had such a great time. The house is great!!! The interior and exterior were extremely clean, beds were cozy, lots of televisions with premium channels, kitchen was stocked nicely., parking in garage, updated furnishings, and I could go on. But the highlight is the backyard - no need to be inside!!! Pool and spa are wonderful and the kids loved the slide! The sound of the waterfalls is so relaxing. Also has a great fire pit, putting green, corn hole and other games as well. The outdoor kitchexn was fabulous - plenty of seating, a fireplace, television, grill, stovetop, sink, fridge, etc… There is also a great pool house with a shower, bunk beds and Foosball. Gabe was very responsive when we had questions: Close to food, entertainment and other things to do as well. Great place in a great location. We will definitely be back again!!!!!!

Gabe stayed in touch with us to update us during this time and let us know the pool would not be heated for a day or so. After poking around the house, we found the main breaker had tripped. Gabe stated this was possibly due to the new pump as the old pump was fried when it was replaced. Again, no pool heat for another day due to power being out. We were told "obviously a refund for two days pool heating" would be given. A month later, and no refund...
The original pool heating fee for 4 nights was billed at $600.00 even though the owner states in the house agreement that the charge is $100.00/day . The actual charge that came through said: "4 nights/$100.00 = $600.00"

We stayed in March for our kids’ spring break and had a blast. Two families, 5 kids total (all 9 and under), and plenty of room for all. The pool was certainly the highlight, but we made meals, used the outdoor space to grill, and really felt a home. Communication with the owners was easy and responses were quick. Couldn’t have had a better time!

Fantastic getaway for a multigenerational group!
We had a wonderful time at Gabe's property. The backyard is really incredible, and a great place for kids, adults (and pups!) to hang out and spend quality time together. The location is also close for day trips to the beach, LEGOLAND, and Wild Animal Park. Gabe is responsive and friendly, and the house is neat and clean. We're looking forward to coming back soon- our kids are already asking for it!

Great place to stay
This is a gorgeous home with lots of indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. The backyard, pool, slide, waterfall, landscaping and cooking area are beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Communication between Gabe and I was helpful and timely. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
