About this cabin rental
-CAM'S KENAI RIVERFRONT LODGES-
CAM’S Kenai Riverfront Lodges is a riverfront fishing lodge on the banks of the world-famous Kenai River. Our cabins are located 10 minutes from the town of Soldotna, offering you the convenience you desire and delivering the Alaska feeling you are looking for. There are 2 cabins and 1 apartment located on the property - this listing is for one cabin only (the Denali Cabin), so if the dates you are looking for are blocked off on the calendar please take a look at our other cabin (the Kodiak Cabin) or apartment (Eagles Nest). We want to ensure our property is not overcrowded, so all 3 cabins will not be occupied at the same time. We have incredible bank fishing on our 131 feet of river access for a handful of different salmon species (Sockeye, King, Silver, and Pink), Rainbow Trout, and Dolly Varden. Our private fishing platforms are a short walk from both cabins. You can also put on your river boots and waders and step right into the river for that "reel" Alaskan experience.
-THE DENALI CABIN (Cabin seen here on VRBO)-
Enjoy our newly remodeled riverfront cabin that comfortably sleeps six to nine guests. On the main level there is a bedroom with a queen-sized bed; a full hall bath; a master suite with a queen bed and private 3/4 bathroom; and a kitchen, living, and dining area with full views of the river. There is also a washer and dryer inside the cabin on the main level. An outdoor grill is available on the cabin deck which overlooks the river to cook up the day's fresh catch. One queen bed and three XL twin beds share a loft space upstairs with cozy sleeping alcoves set up with black out plaid curtains for privacy. Included in this area also is a 3/4 bath.
-CAM'S CORNER-
Our covered pavilion awaits you with inviting Adirondack chairs and a sizeable firepit. It provides a place to relax where you can take in sounds and views of the Kenai River and the Alaska landscape. In the evenings you can enjoy sitting around the campfire talking about your day’s limit or the biggest fish that just got away.
-PRIVATE PROCESSING / FREEZING ROOM-
Our property features a private processing and freezing room for guests in both cabins to use during their stay. Traditionally, you would have to go into Soldotna to have the processor package and freeze your bountiful catch. Here at CAM'S, you have everything you need to package and freeze your catch from platform and bank fishing, river trips, fly out trips, and ocean trips. After you clean and fillet your fish at the aluminum cleaning station, your fish is ready to be given that last good wash in the processing room and then packaged into bags we provide and vacuum sealed with our commercial vacuum sealer. Stand up freezers are located inside the room for your convenience and peace of mind. You still have the option to take your catch to the local processors.

Had the best time ever at Cam’s Cabins. From catching a 10lb Sockeye to hanging out by the firepit. Great place. Can’t wait to return

What an amazing place! The pictures online are wonderful, but they don’t come close to capturing the beauty of the place! The hole is very clean, comfortable and organized. All of our needs were met. The host even helped us find a fun place to fish for halibut on the beach! I would highly recommend staying here!

Hard to say enough good things about our stay at CAM's. The cabin was in great condition with everything we could need for our stay with a large group. The fish processing area and fire pit were added bonuses and of course the main attraction was the riverfront location and fishing dock. The hosts were great communicators and Joe and Chesa even came by to give us a fishing lesson at 9 pm so we were ready the next day! And the lesson worked! Definitely a trip our group will be talking about for a long time!

We booked both the Denali and the Kodiak for our family group, and we could not have been happier with the property. The homes were immaculate, and had everything we needed (and more). There was plenty of room, we had 4 in one cabin and 8 in the other.
We enjoyed dinners on the beautiful patio, taking in the Alaska weather and scenery. Watching the Bald Eagles soar over the Kenai River right from the deck was something we will always remember.
The riverfront property has it's own private fishing, and top of the line platforms to make it easy. They also rods, reels, line, nets, and tons of other fishing equipment.
Brent and Cierra were so responsive and helpful, they went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.
We fished a lot, and the fish processing room was top notch. The vacuum sealer is professional quality and will save you money on fish processing. My husband was in love with this room.
We spent several evenings around the campfire making s'mores and relaxing. I cannot say enough good things about this property. It is absolutely breathtaking.
I wholeheartedly recommend booking your family vacation at CAMS Kenai Riverside Cabins, and take the time to learn the story behind the name, it is an inspiration.
Thank you Brent and Cierra for giving my family the opportunity to create our own Alaskan Memories in Soldotna, we will cherish our time there forever.

Could not have asked for a better property. Beautiful and clean, we had everything we needed. Pantry was stocked with cooking items which made things very nice. We didn't catch any fish this trip but we had fun trying! We had a party of 7 adults and 1 infant and there was plenty of room for everyone. Needless to say, we will be back some day!

This rental was set up perfectly. The household items were of the same quantity and quality you would have in your own home. Nearly everything in the cabin was new. The owners stocked it with all the cleaning, cooking, and operating essentials that we needed. The only time we found it necessary to run into town was to purchase more bait.
As far as the location, the rental is in the center of everything Kenai. It is 10 minutes from Soldotna, which is the best town on the peninsula for food, gas, and gear. The Wildlife Refuge next door is perfect for small children. Our children are adults so we hiked to the top of Harding Icefield, kayaked in the Bear Glacier Lagoon, boated over to Lake Clark to view bears, and used the Homer water taxis to visit Kachemak State Park.
This was not a fishing trip for us, but the fishing setup at this rental was amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. There is always something going on down by the river. We saw eagles fishing, a moose cow and calf swimming, and a harbor seal trying to steal my string of salmon. Overall 10 out of 10.

CAM'S Kenai Riverfront Lodges is truly a special place. The location is perfectly situated close to Soldotna town but still having the Alaska wilderness experience. We were excited to see a Moose in the backyard grazing on leaves. We even had the opportunity to pick strawberries on the property and rhubarb plants were starting to grow.
We rented both cabins which provided us the whole property to enjoy including prime riverfront fishing, rods, reels and nets ready to start fishing, fully stocked fish processing room with professional vacuum sealer and wonderful covered firepit to relax at after a full day of fishing. The cabins had everything that we needed with special Alaska themed accents, blankets for those chilly evenings, fully stocked kitchen and pantry and indoor washer/dryer. Cierra and property managers Joe and Chelsa made sure that we had everything that we needed. As one of our friend's said Cam's Lodge is "Beyond Awesome."
As for the fishing? Well, though we were late in the sockeye season, we were still able to catch our share of "reds" to take home. Fishing off of the docks and even in the river was possible. Some of our first-time anglers also commented that they will be purchasing their own fishing gear for the "next time!" Hmmm... maybe 2024?
Lastly, please look into the history of CAM'S Riverfront Lodges. You'll know why this is a special place to stay. We will be back!
Aloha from the Hawaii gang!

Trip of a lifetime
The cabin was fabulous and the fish processing building was very well supplied and so useful. We brought some of our own gear figuring the available stuff would be so-so but it was entirely unnecessary as the equipment was quality gear. 5/5

Fantastic Family Stay!
This is a fantastic property! It has everything you could want for a stay by the river. We were a group of 5 - myself and my two kids, my dad, and my sister. There was plenty of space for us to each have our own room/area and we could have easily fit a few more spouses/significant others if they'd had the opportunity to come along. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook our family meals and then some. We were fortunate to visit during a string of absolutely beautiful weather so we thoroughly enjoyed the deck and lounge chairs and also the fire area in the evenings. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if we could have timed it to match up with the reds running. Next time. :) I would highly recommend this property and look forward to possibly staying here again someday!

first class
The two cabins are virtually new and fully equipped with first class everything. The steel grates along the river are good fishing platforms and the firepit area is covered, allowing all weather use. Everything was clean and useable. Only complaint is there needs to be more fish in the river.....

Pssss, don't tell anyone, but this place is Unbelievable!!
This place is so good, I don’t want anyone to know about it.!! Their attention to detail left nothing a miss. From a fully equipped kitchen to the professional processing room to even a beautiful Taylor guitar. All the essential needs were in place. The thoughtfulness of saving items in the pantry like olive oil, and spices, canned drinks in the fridge, and dried kindling wood by the fire pit met all our needs as they arose. Not to mention the place is brand NEW!
We had a wonderful stay and didn’t want to leave. I’ve visited Soldotna multiple times and this by far is the best place I’ve stayed.

Don’t pass this one by!
We have stayed at many places over the years, but nothing compares to this one. Very glad I booked it, at the time there no reviews and I was a bit skeptical, but I’m glad I made the decision to rent it. Although I never got to meet the owner, he was great to deal with. He was messaging me to make sure everything was up to my standards and took care of anything we needed. The cabin is top notch! EVERYTHING we needed was there for us. Top end kitchen, washer and dryer, plenty of beds, and a great cabin decor. Outdoor fire pit under a huge post and beam enclosure. Private fishing docks right on the Kenai river with a cleaning station with anything you would need, then you take your fish to the processing room. Top notch processing room with stainless steel counters, scales, cutting boards, and a commercial vacuum sealer. And lots of freezer space for all of your catch. Many thanks to Brent and his family, can’t wait to rent it again!

Amazing location and owners
Would highly recommend the property and the cabin was great as well as the communication from the owners. The fishing was amazing and the processing room was a huge bonus. This cabin will hold memories for our family for a lifetime.

Kenai Riverfront Cabin - Beware of Additional Guests on Site
This cabin is beautifully decorated and very well stocked.
The riverfront view and location are awesome as is the fire pit which is large enough for a group of ten people. The fishing gear available to guests is sub-par but is most likely not well taken care of by other guests. Our group actually purchased two new reels and a new rod during our visit, which we left at the cabin when we departed, so our group would have operational equipment for our stay.
The only drawback to this property was the fact that upon our arrival we were shocked to learn that a second group, consisting of seven people, would simultaneously be on site in a second cabin which had apparently just been made available for rent. This created a "less than ideal" situation every day with respect to trying to access the limited fishing dock space and fishing equipment. If the other group was on the dock, there was insufficient space for our group to fish and vice versa. Had the other party chosen to utilize the fire pit, we would have faced yet another irritating obstacle with respect to sharing the property.
In light of the VRBO property description at the time of our booking (which appeared to have been altered after our booking and before our arrival) we had fully expected to be the only group on the property and were quite disappointed to learn otherwise. The VRBO listing photo for this property does not show the additional cabin located directly, just a few steps away, in front of this one but rather appears to indicate a remote site surrounded by trees.
Overall, if your group is the only one on this property, it is AWESOME....however, if another group is occupying the second cabin during your stay, you will find it to be a MAJOR drawback having to share the community fishing dock, fishing gear and fire pit.

CAM’s Riverfront Lodges
We loved the cabins. They were both more than what we expected. Their was a cooler, fish net, and poles ready to go. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The fish processing room was amazing!! Soldotna is a great middle location to take in all the tourist spots like Seward and Homer! They really went all out to make you feel at home. We will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing cabin with fantastic location directly on the Kenai Rivee
We stayed in the Denali cabin. The cabin was fully furnished with everything a large family could ask for. Stocked kitchen with ample cookware and place settings, fishing poles for use to fish on the bank of the Kenai River. Fantastic covered fire pit to enjoy and it rained one night but we were still able to enjoy it since it was covered. Fish processing room with ample freezer space. A very special touch was the take home tumblers for each person with CAM’s logo. They will always remind us of our special time at CAM’s Kenai Riverfront lodges Denali cabin. Comfortable beds and furniture with blankets for the cool nights. The deck had lots of furniture to sit around the grill and watch the river as well as eat or enjoy your coffee. I highly recommend this location to anyone visiting the area. It is a very quiet and peaceful location yet close to town for any stores or food
