LODGE WITH HOT TUB - DOG FRIENDLY - £35 PER STAY PER DOG

Woodland Lodge has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room to the Mater Bedroom, and a further family barhoroom with shower over bath.

The living area is comfortably furnished, and has a smart TV. In the modern open plan kitchen you will find a fridge-freeaer, dishwashter, washer/dryer and microwave, as well as a Nespresso coffee machinge - everythin you need for a relaxed but luxiourise self-cathered holiday.

The Lodge has been thoughtfully designed and has lovely plumb sofa's and armchair to provide a cosy yet elegant feel. This combined with the care that the owner has lavished on the lodge will be sure to give you a holiday you will not forget and will want to come back to time and time again.

We can accept up to two well behaved dogs in Woodland Loage at an additional cost of £35 per dog, per stay. Please add as an optional extra on the booking page.
Hollicarrs is a quiet rural park, perfect for couples and families looking for a peaceful retreat. We do not accommodate Stag or Hen parties. Please do not book with us if you prefer wild nights to wildlife!

As a guest of the owner of Woodland Lodge you will have access to all of the facilities that Hollicarrs Holiday Park has to offer:

Walking
There are nature trails in abundance at Hollicarrs. Whether you are looking for a gentle stroll, or a more energetic walk over a longer distance, walking trails have been carefully carved out among the trees around the lodge park, leading you through bluebell dells, primrose banks, past our bird hide to spot the wildlife and natural ponds teaming with life.

If you prefer to cover a couple of miles, why not walk through the woods to Skipwith Common Nature Reserve, a site of special scientific interest. This route takes you past the lovely Norman Church in Skipwith and the Drovers Arms is only a slight detour.

Tennis
The hard tennis court is flood lit enabling play throughout the year.

Fishing
The fishing lake at Hollicarrs is within easy walking distance of the lodge park and provides a sheltered, well stocked lake. Fishing platforms have been designed around the area for easy access including disabled areas for wheelchair users.

Bowling Green
A well maintained grass green for expert or beginners play.

Petanque Courts

Lodge was great size and Mickey furnished with everything we could need. Very clean and we were impressed with the care taken to look after the hot tub with twice daily checks and refills after each booking. Location was perfect for us for a local wedding as well as day trips to York.

The lodge was beautiful and had everything. Loved the Christmas decorations in the lodge,those extra special finishing touches were the best, so much thought and effort gone into it. It was so cosy and relaxing and Saphi our dog settled in straight away. As soon as we walked in we were blown away ,it was amazing and we can't wait to book again.

The standard was high throughout and was ideal for us because my daughter was getting married on Escrick Park and some of the family all stayed in four different lodges very close to each other which really made the weekend

Location was wonderful providing a cosy and very comfortable break. The lodge itself was perfect, spacious, clean with all the amenities required and with great little extras provided. The woodland was so relaxing to wander around and to be honest the whole holiday was so tranquil and gave us the perfect spa break we needed.

Loved the view and walks. We took a pizza for supper on our first night. Put the oven on, a few minutes later could smell burning so opened the door to be greeted with a cloud of smoke due to the build up of burned on grease. The cooker hood was covered in grease and dirt too so we didn't use the cooking facilities again. The "Double"mattress was so old the springs made noises when either of us moved and was very uncomfortable so much so we left after 3 nights due to needing a good nights sleep.

The cabin was lovely with some lovely touches like tea coffee etc.. We loved the hot tub which was maintained well. The site is well kept & feels very safe it is in easy reach of York. The reception staff were lovely and so helpful x

We booked our stay for a leisurely weekend away, where we could chill and enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us, so we didn’t go on the long walks we planned or made use of the tennis courts etc, however, the accommodation was excellent and had everything and more needed for our stay.
