Reel Living #3-AV is a beautiful, waterfront cottage located in historic Avon Village. A dock in the back provides easy access to the shallow waters, as well as direct sound access for windsurfing, kiteboarding, kayaking, boating, SUP, crabbing, and fishing. Rinse off afterwards in the outdoor shower. The traditional Hatteras wraparound porch invites you to catch fresh breezes and enjoy the peaceful scenery. The back porch is definitely the place to be for sensational sunsets. The front door opens to a well-equipped, full kitchen with breakfast island seating and a large dining table. In the adjacent living area, you'll find soundfront seating, hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, an entertainment center with a large flatscreen TV, deck access, and fabulous water views. You'll also find a soothing hot tub with the best seat in the house for sunsets and stargazing.
Bedroom one is off the kitchen, with a washer/dryer nook. Bedroom two offers a stunning, panoramic soundfront view. It has beautiful pine tongue-and-groove walls and is just steps from a full hall bath with a combination tub/shower; an adjacent door allows this bath to become part of a main suite. The second story continues easy vacation living with wood floors in three bedrooms. Bedroom three has a spacious bath with a whirlpool tub/shower. This bedroom also offers access to a third-floor tower room with a wet bar, futon, and extreme water views on three sides. Bedroom four has sound views and a full bath with a tub/shower. We loved this house! The beds and pillows were comfy, plus the sheets were already on the beds. The hot tub had great sunset views. It was nice to access fishing/swimming in the sound off the backyard. There was ample parking for multiple vehicles. The kitchen had every utensil and item you could ever desire. I would highly recommend this house and plan to stay here again soon.

The back porch with its sunset views and hot tub were unbeatable! The dock and kayaks were an added bonus for fishing and recreation. Very comfortable and well-appointed house.

Perfect Soundfront location with pier and kayaks. Huge master upstairs with access to lot. Plentiful porch furniture for relaxing and watching the fish swarm and other wildlife. Even a cornhole game. Great time here.

We were very pleased with the house. Great waterfront on sound property. It took a while for the hot tub to heat up and we had to add more water to cover the jets. We made use of the kayaks and kite/wind surfers went right by us. Note the wifi pwd is all lowercase letters which is different from how it is written plaque in house. Also note the grill isnt listed as an amenity. The fireplace also was not functional. Everything else was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Fantastic water views and close to local shops and restaurants. Lots of games, puzzles, books and cornhole to use. My only minor complaint was that I wished the neighborhood was nicer as there were some run down homes on the way in. I would recommend this place and would stay again.

We absolutely loved thee house & the Sound. There were a couple of small maintenance issues- but nothing horrible. As mentioned in previous review the neighborhood dogs do roam free, followed our dogs on our walks & pooped in the yard- slightly frustrating but not terrible. Our main tip is this: we struggled all week thinking each room only had 2 bath towels- having to wash continuously- only to find a huge green bag stuffed in corner closet full of towels on our last night 😂 Look for the green bag!!!

The check-in process was great including a one hour earlier Check in. The rental company, VS VaCasa answered any questions we had quickly. The house is beautiful, and was very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, which helped out because we cooked all but one of our meals there. The hot tub was very clean and well situated on the back deck with views overlooking the water.
The only thing to be aware of; if you bring your dog or dogs, which we did, local dogs will randomly show up in your front and backyard, none of them were aggressive, but it's good to be aware of.
Overall, we had a fabulous stay.

The property was very nice but we couldn’t walk our dogs because the neighbors let their two brown labs run loose all day. One of them even came onto the wrap around porch and up to the back door. The dogs also used the yard as their bathroom. We would definitely stay at this property again if we didn’t have to worry about loose dogs in the neighborhood.

Beautifully decorated, Reel Living is an updated older home in the older part of Avon with a comfortable layout and some really cool surprises like a tower with a futon and a work station! Accessibility was great for people with achy knees, with a reasonable number of steps to the first floor, where the kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms are located. Three roomy bedrooms upstairs had very comfy furnishings, en suites, and great views. The kitchen was well-stocked. The shaded deck offers fantastic soundfrount views. The grassy yard was perfect for rigging sailboarding equipment, and the little dock was great for launching kayaks and paddle boards. The owners thoughtfully include two kayaks, some bikes, and beach chairs for their renters. Our family has stayed in several houses in Avon, and Reel Living is by far our favorite.

House was amazing. The view out back is so spectacular especially at sunset. Very nicely decorated. The kayaks were a real treat. Kitchen at front door is perfect with large table for whole family. The wrap around porch is great for little kids to run and get out energy. Just a stunning house.

It’s a really nice home with great amenities and awesome backyard. Our family felt like we were on a cruise ship thanks to the wonderful view. It’s perfect for sunsets and super close to beaches on the other side so you can catch the sunrise too. Private and nice quiet place for a relaxed vacation. The only thing I would really emphasize more on is the cleanliness. Some places were a bit dusty and musty and some lights were really dim I could barely see. Other than that really really great place. Recommend!

It’s a really nice home with great amenities and awesome backyard. Our family felt like we were on a cruise ship thanks to the wonderful view. They changed TV service providers from Directv to ROKU/Spectrum streaming services. We were not familiar with these and didn’t even find Spectrum live TV until the 2nd week. This was the only major problem for 2 Disabled Retired people. A Television Guide would be VERY helpful! We will probably book this house again.

The view and access to the sound was second to none. It was spacious and comfortable. The only negative is the drastic price increase beginning next year. We were beyond disappointed to see the weekly rate had more than tripled. So it is now out of our reach and sadly this will remain our one and only stay at Reel Living.

We were very happy with the property. The owners have stocked it with everything you might need and it was well organized. They were wonderfully prepared for pets including gates for their wrap around porch. Sunsets from the hot tub were the best.
